Dear Netvaper ! Thank you for the review. I bought this tank and it is perfect as you describe! Really hardcore mtl rta. Thanks a lot ! One viewer from hungary
Top review Nathan, I have mentioned this rta in your last live chat a month or so ago, and is one of my daily tanks mainly with latakia. I never tried a clapton coil, just used a simple round wire but had to wrap all the way around the positive post for it to hold, yes it kept coming out when tightening the screw. Also I never bothered with airflow as I was happy as is plus didn't come with any anyway. Top rta, Top review.
Yes Johan if i am not mistaken i also mentioned to you the translation of the name from Latin 😊 I must tell you Johan i am ever so pleased with this RTA i might use a round wire coil when my current coil needs changing just to see the difference. You noticed as well that it was a bit fiddley securing the coil around the positive post i am not sure why did they not have lips around the post like with the negative post. Anyway with all it's quarks it is one of my most enjoyable tobacco RTA's.
How nice Stephan. I am happy to be part of your well earned rest. I assume your are part of the hospital medical staff or work force. Have a restful night
I know what you mean about putting the tank on the mod but I got into the habit of using the base but I got into the habit of it 👍your a braver man than me with the choice of net tobacco it's got a very intense flavour
Yes Paul, the Baffometto is a full on English Mixture pipe tobacco vape and i taste it to the max on the Mea, it certainly wakes me up with my morning coffee, nearly as good as my cigar smoking days😀
Well I am loving the flavour with this tank, its in the 415 realm. Enjoying the last bits of Drakes Balkan Blend that I have. Like you Nathan I found the installed 1.2 air disc just right. How on earth you managed to trap a clapton under that positive post I will never know - I struggled and cursed with 27' gauge round wire. Fitting a coil is the only downside for me on this otherwise fantastic tank.
Yes Mark that positive post is a bit tricky but luckily you don’t need to change the coil too often and like you I also regard this RTA highly on all other categories. I should have mentioned the 415 as well as a comparison so good you mentioned it here. As for Drake’s I wish they re-sell these fantastic net’s that are Black Note equivalent but cheaper. Enjoy the Mea
Well Abdi In some odd way the thickness of the Clapton wire is easier to clamp down as thin wire just pops out and needs rapping around the screw to gat a proper hold
My First thought was it looks Like the Dwarv, specialy by the Bellcap... But what you really got to try ist the Taifun GTR (Clone) by Shenray.....Super easy wick changing and smooth airflow system...Got 2 of it using with my La Tabacherias and I love it ! Even I like to hear in Future you wouldnt review RTAs coming out every week, like all the Alberic and Shoore no more... Thanks for that and your wonderful work on your Channel...
@@netvaper I would say that Claudius get the point with Taifun GTR. I do not use Shenray clone but I have herd yjay it's most close to original, Anyway (using the original GTR) it should be said GTR is complete opposite of Mea Culpa. Germans made GTR as old WV cars: Car for (all) the people.

We are seeing a lot of these decks with a sort of halfpipe ledge to place your cotton along. Short wicks. Bishop, Albrech..the Sure? But they all involve the juice dripping on to the wick whereas this puts me in mind of the Ripley. Same deck but utilising wicking rods to feed the juice UP to the cotton from beneath. In this case they are shorter as the deck is on the bottom. Great review as always but I wonder how you've got along with cleaning the deck of eliquid when changing juices? Looks to me like some juice would linger under the base without a good rinse.
Your observation is correct Mark. As for cleaning the deck I wash the whole deck under the tap and blow through the airflow openings to rid any water then dry with a paper towel. Simple & effective
I’d never have given this a second look and given your misgivings about it’s peculiarities I still want sure. BUT for £25 I took a punt. Had it 10 minutes. Had to use a round wire coil as I struggled to fit a Clapton MTL. 0.9ohm. Followed your wicking advice and have to say it’s performing really well. The counter intuitive way the tank fits together isn’t a big problem and I’m never going to change the airflow discs. Threw in a well matured Juice Cabin Canadian flue cured and it tastes superb. A little noisy I guess but I can live with that. Looks good too. For £25 I can’t complain though like you I wouldn’t have paid for an original. Cheers Nathan.
Hi Nathan thanks for another in depth & detailed review. I was searching for a rta that is best for tobacco this one sounds like the ideal rta for flavor on net's, what is your opinion vs the 415 that I was considering to buy based on your review but couldn't find one in stock, as i understood the Mea is available in the UK so it is very tempting. I would not mess around with the airflow in any case & it seems the building is easy enough watching your close-up. I would appreciate your advise. Thanks 🙏
@GMP in my opinion the Mea delivers one of the most defined all round flavour although the 415 delivers awesome flavours on Latakia's & Orientals, the Mea delivers equally defined flavours on Virginia's & the like better then the 415. If you would be happy with the 1.2mm airflow that is already installed then the Mea can be one of the most flavour focused & enjoyable MTL RTA's. Just the the revers twist & open method needs getting used too. finally someone mentioned to me that the mouthpiece is a bit short for him so your lips might touch the top cap rim so just use a longer mouthpiece if you feel the same. Would appreciate your feedback if you decide to buy it,
My opinion is to try a Dwarv clone (Ulton, YFTK). Much easier to use, no faults, simple and practical, good flavour. Forget Mea Culpa, far too complicate.
Thank you for the great and thorough review Nathan! Seems like an unnecessarily complicated tank. If you get the chance to, I really recommend you give the Echo RTA by Umbrella Mods a try. It went under the radar for many mtl reviewers. The Mea Culpa tank looks very similar to it, but the Echo is lighter, less of a hassle, and gives you a lot of airflow options (0.8 to 2.6 in 0.2 increments) and you can find it for under 65£. Amazing flavor too, it’s in my 3 tank rotation with the Kayfun Lite Plus 2021 and the Bishop.
@Babis Chrysanthakis. Have you watched the close up 🤔 there are No threading at all on Mea that is one of the factors that triggered my interest. The Chimney is a solid SS and the Ultem tank slides over 0 rings on the deck with no threading, and the deck slots & twist on the SS chimney again with no threading. So i am not sure what is your comment about 😊
@Babis Chrysanthakis Nathan is right you should watch his build mate it could not be more detailed and no threading in sight besides the fact that the chimney is steal

Hello Nathan, thank you for the review, would you please recommend Mea Culpa or the dvarw fl in terms of flavor? because i need to buy one of them as a clone and I am confused tbh which one should get, thank you!
Hi Omar, my suggestion is to buy the original Dvarw FL 24mm & the Mea Culpa clone. As the Dvarw is a complex RTA and some had alignment issues with the clone, but the Mea is a much simpler mechanism and less prone to alignment faults. My Mea clone is flawless.

@ Noc Turnal. it is amazing RTA with NET's i have not tried it with any other flavour. If you are looking for an all-rounder including fruit & creamy liquids go for the Kayfun X
Put a built in it today and used it all day why they only put one notch on build deck I don’t know but not a major issue to be honest bit of a loud air flow and the catch is wrong way round but if you remember as you said to counter turn once on mod it’s fine but flavour is really good I have tobilla 11 in and very nice crisp flavour all in all Nathan your review was spot on as described by your good self and for the price worth getting 100%
@@chrisholmes2208 I appreciate your feedback. The flavour is what is so amazing with the Mea. The only thing I changed is to add a tad thicker wick as I noticed that if the cotton is too thin half way down the tank you might get a bit of gurgling as the juice flow system is so officiant so the thicker cotton keeps all running smoothly. Enjoy it
Thanks Mohamed. Throat hit is one of the the strongest i ever vaped so must be a 9 (Tokomak MTL RDA was stronger) as for flavour i would say easily a 9
I also don't care about clones, but you made me buy one hehehe. Thank you as always for the reviews! By the way, have you tried Elitism RTA by SXK? It's not clone. The deck looks similar to FeV, and was told that airflow/flavor are very similar to Bishop's. Just curious if you have tried haha.
I did try the elitism, the deck is 100% identical to a fev and the flavor is very close to a bishop. I'd rate elitism < bishop < fev for simple < medium < complex desert/tobacco juices. It's a shame SXK chose to use the original fev deck instead of the improved bishop-alike deck they made for their fev clones.
@@netvaper yessir, I think you will definitely enjoy it since it's basically a shorter version of a fev. I also would love to see you make a video about how different chipsets in mods would affect the vaping experience.
Thanks for the review. I don’t think you are being very fair to call this a clone of a Dvarw, sure it bears a small resemblance on the outside from a side view but after that there are very many differences and some unique innovation too. Clones are copies of an original, in no way could you describe this as a copy. Your beloved 😊 Bishop RTA is arguably a much closer copy of the FeV 4.5s, it looks much different but copies it’s function in most every other way. Incidentally, in my view the FeV is still about the best RTA for flavour, ease of use and versatility between vaping styles I’ve used, and I’ve tried a lot, I don’t think you ever gave it a decent try.
@Ian Inglis Sorry if you mis-understood me, i did not by no way mean it is a clone of the Dvarw No way!! I just mentioned it has some resemblance in the external look to Dvarw. This is a clone of the Mea Culpa and no other RTA, plain & simple. As for the Fev i am seriously considering to buy the original shortly now that it is available in the UK, so watch this space Ian😊
@@netvaper OK Nathan, thanks for the explanation. I do hope you decide to do full review of the FeV, may I suggest a starting point on the FeV for your style of vaping, use a simple 2.5mm id Kanthal round wire coil around 0.7-0.9 Ohms, use the blank pin at one side and probably 1.2 pin at the other side. Set the coil approx at a height level, or slightly above, the air pin height and lean the coil a couple of mm toward the open air pin. Use a long wick that trails round over the coil screws and down to the bottom of the deck so it soaks up any excess juice from there.
Hi Nathan, I have never heard of them, the only negative I can see is how the juice control works in the direction of rotation. Apart from the way of filling, I prefer the design of lite plus and dvarw, I can not see any other negative sides. Complicated to change on AF, yes but in the MTL world we usually make the adjustments once. My opinion about clones, I sincerely feel sorry for those who design a revolutionary atty, goes a few months and then the Chinese are out with the copy. Here's the thing, how many well-functioning Rta's have the Chinese themselves managed to design?
@hertugen on line. I am not sure what you mean juice control works in the direction of rotation in my opinion it is a classic capillary action system that works in a way like a RDTA with the difference that your inhale activates the juice flow not by tilting. I agree in regards to the airflow as a MTL once you found the right one for you that stays for ever. If i am not mistaken some of my favourite RTA's are Chinese companies like BP Mods, Dovpo, Auguse, Aspire, Innokin and many more mainstream Chinese companies that flood the market with starter kits including the latest Pod kits are manufactured in china. SXK design many parts that other manufacturers use in their products but they excel in 1:1 copies to mind bugling perfection. The High end companies would be wise to reduce their prices and exclusivity to Facebook groups to enable other vapers who would love to use their product but for the love of money they are not available for sale like for instance the Mea Culpa that is simply not available for sale for anyone not belonging to any social media exclusive group. So for the majority of vapers SXK is the only option and SXK take full advantage wouldn't you do the same🙂
@@netvaper If you look at the years they have existed, and count the number of mtl rta, then there is not much custom design the Chinese have come up with. To take two fast as you mention, Aspire has Neeko, and Innokin has Ares, and we'm talking about two companies that have been around for 7-10 years or so. When it comes to price, everyone knows that wages are higher in Europe, I do not see attys like Dvarw to be extremely high priced, double or triple a Chinese rta yes. But the big difference is that you can get parts for Dvarw for many years even after it goes out of production, try to see if you can get the same from a Chinese.
@@andreivrublevschi5524 do not know, but it is rare that they come up with something innovative nowadays, especially when it comes to mtl. Here's the thing, there's a lot of talent in China, why they do not improve one product, why always this copy paste philosophy.
Even Clones are Originals when they 1:1,and in some cases the build quality is better than the "Originals"...Not Always, but Sometimes.. The chinese manufacturers are not interested building crappy Produkts nobody will buy again....But this is just my personal opinion....
I agree with your opinion Claudius and the biggest proof to that, is the Mea, I bet it is a carbon copy of the original to minute details even the springy positive post. Also the Penodat V2 miss-judged design that the airflow insert getting stock on one of the post screw when fully tightened is just amazing and show craftsmanship by SXK
You have used nice soft words like "complex" for this "RTA". Me, being a men of ease-of-use and serching for most practical RTA, I would use "waste of time". I honestly not understand why the manufacturer did this "innovation". Might be just for the sake of innovation. Otherwise, the RTA is over-engineered and with major faults in use (airflow and being unlocking clockwise being major). Thank you very much for rising in our attantion this and protect us to make a major mistake. I personally would skip this.
Thank you Andrei for your feedback. May I just add that with all its faults, the flavour is for many including myself a major compensation but at least you know all it’s quirks before you decide if to buy or not to buy

Greets.
@jose pedro moleiro Mauricio, i cannot possibly review every RTA out there, unless it was send to me to review🙂
Great review I have just ordered one 😂😂
Excellent chris. I would appreciate your feedback😊
Will do should be here tomorrow will have a build after work
Put a built in it today and used it all day why they only put one notch on build deck I don’t know but not a major issue to be honest bit of a loud air flow and the catch is wrong way round but if you remember as you said to counter turn once on mod it’s fine but flavour is really good I have tobilla 11 in and very nice crisp flavour all in all Nathan your review was spot on as described by your good self and for the price worth getting 100%
Enjoy it
great review bro. can you rate throat hit ?/10 please ?! and the falvour
Thanks Mohamed. Throat hit is one of the the strongest i ever vaped so must be a 9 (Tokomak MTL RDA was stronger) as for flavour i would say easily a 9
@@netvaper thanks for replying nathan . so do you think is stronger than th spica pro in flavour and throat hit ?!
Better TH than FEV?
Thanks!
The Fev has some advantages like smoother airflow and more suited to a wider spectrum of flavour profile liquids
IS the throat hit good on this tank?
@Epic Story Time. Yes very noticeable throat hit
How will this atty be for 50/50 e liquid? Wondering if it would leak or not.
Although I vape 70VG I can’t see any reason at all why it should leak with 50/50.
@@netvaper Thank you for the quick reply Mr. Nathan.
Is it worth a punt . My bishop and steamcrave classic are both out of action
Definitely worth it Alan why is your bishop out of action
@@netvaper broke the glass and the spare
Hello i need buy the Steam Crave Aromamizer Supreme V3 advanced kit. Can you recommend to me a online store to by that item?
I hava a friend that live in USA but i need that i send instructions to buy there.
I can’t leave any links to website Pedro under UA-cam regulations so a google search will be my advice
I clicked on the link thinking "What has Nathan got to feel guilty about?" LOL
😀 Thanks Roger
I also don't care about clones, but you made me buy one hehehe. Thank you as always for the reviews!
By the way, have you tried Elitism RTA by SXK? It's not clone. The deck looks similar to FeV, and was told that airflow/flavor are very similar to Bishop's. Just curious if you have tried haha.
Thanks Michael i actually thought the deck of the Elitism looks like the Fev as well
I did try the elitism, the deck is 100% identical to a fev and the flavor is very close to a bishop.
I'd rate elitism < bishop < fev for simple < medium < complex desert/tobacco juices.
It's a shame SXK chose to use the original fev deck instead of the improved bishop-alike deck they made for their fev clones.
@@kvo951 I will find out soon enough as I ordered one myself out of Curiosity😀
@@ianinglis4446 thanks for the useful advice that I will follow when applicable 😊
Hi Nathan,
I have never heard of them, the only negative I can see is how the juice control works in the direction of rotation.
Sorry to say this, but you might recall who was the one which invented vape? Might be an chinese?
@@netvaper Completely agree.
@@andreivrublevschi5524 do not know, but it is rare that they come up with something innovative nowadays, especially when it comes to mtl.
Here's the thing, there's a lot of talent in China, why they do not improve one product, why always this copy paste philosophy.
Target Customers: Watchmakers 😅
Watchmakers🤔not sure what you mean
@@netvaper hehe because it is so fiddly to change the airflow disk it reminded me of watching a watchmaker open up a watch 😅
@@noiztrauma oh I get it now😀 fiddly indeed. Probably the max you need to do it is once.
