- I received so many requests to review the Picatiny by SXK that is now available in the UK. So, when a vaper kindly offered to give me his Picatiny so I can try it & share my thoughts with you. I must admit that I am happy I did. Also, since it was a long while since my last video upload to the channel I would be catching up & some update chat. Also, if all goes to plan, I will be a gust on Mark @ naturevape live show on coming Tuesday 9/April at 8.30PM along with Roberto from Centenary Mods. It will be nice if you can join me. Yes I recommend this RTA, for the money it is definitely a bargain considering the quality of flavour & airflow smoothness. Use a plain round wire for practice with no time you would master the technique. The big plus is you would never need post screws again. Believe me that is one big headache to replace post screws on your favourite MTL.

Welcome back good sir. I have the original of this tank and it is a lot easier to get the coil in, don't know if that is just the SXK remake that is trickier. It is a great MTL RTA and I knew you would like it as it is REALLY suited to NETs with the dome shape. For that reason I rarely use the Picatiny as I'm more in to custards at the moment.

Hello Nathan!nice to see you back.u’ve been missed.a few weeks ago i was in doubt because i had to choose between picatiny rta and the 4.32 rdta and i had chosen the 4:32 rdta.good atty for mtl good flavour and strong th.now i will try to find the picatiny rta.i miss vaping simple virginia from La tabaccheria.here in my country theyve stopped selling it.waiting for the live show and waiting for a new video from you.also another rta that i would like having is the 4:51 from the same manufacturer as 4:32 .best wishes

Bravo Nathan👏 mega close up of the Picatiny clamp system coiling. If you know how many time i tried with a wire to get it right you would be laughing 😂 It seemed easy the way you done it. Now that i worked it out i love this tank. The flavour is bang on & silent smooth airflow like my Bishop V2. I also like the look of it. i was sure you would buy one for yourself 😜 I hope to join you on naturevape live show but as i mentioned on you vaping piper channel if i am still on the M6 that time i will watch it on the replay. With Roberto and the focus on the amazing Diplomat MTL it should be interesting. See you soon Nathan & enjoy the show

and i think it's good enough for a clone, i've compared it to my Fev V4.5 (yftk) and the result is almost close to it, but the different is the picatiny more boost the flavor.
Unfortunately the build quality and material not so good, but overall is good. thank Nathan

That feeling when NET vaper posts a video, good review as usual. Im not as impressed with the picanty I think the toolless install is only useful to some but the design is solid, it does look beautiful. Trying to get the side airflow insert for the Caspardina. Happy vaping!
😀 mutual feeling. Must admit it is a tad tedious to install the coil but soon enough you get the gist of it and plain sailing thereafter😊 I love the Caspardina it is firmly on my weekly rotation. I wasn’t aware that it is difficult to find airflow pins for it. Have you tried the usual Chinese vendors
@@netvaperI'm glad to see innovation on any MTL RTA and you're right after enough times you'll be installing coils without even thinking about it, just not the innovation I personally like. The Caspardina is in my weekly also 😁 the MTL is just great and I'm finding the exit pin useful on some builds. Did you manage to get the 0.8mm side airflow insert? I cannot find it anywhere I believe GG mentioned they will be coming into stock soon.
Also a little cheeky to ask but I'd love your opinion on if the Mea Culpa RTA is worth getting, I'm unsure how the airflow plates work - is it the same as a normal airpin draw or more something like the Sputnik with their disks? Thanks Nathan you're a wealth of knowledge.
The Mea culpa is not as good as the Caspardina and certainly the Picatiny by the same Holy atty is much better overall.
@@netvaper Thankyou for that I couldn't get my head around those weird disks looking at images, I'll see what other RTAs are available, Naturevape need some new stock now the Diplomat's at gone!

Thanks. I wouldn’t call it sad it is rather the way things turn out. Hopefully I would have other vaping gear to review the same way this MTL turned up.
Good to see you back Nathan and glad you got the chance to review this rta for free as it obviously produces a very good vape and for not much money as the OG is around £160. I'm all for innovation but I think they should have stuck with deck screws as it does look a faff fitting a coil, I assume getting a coil out is more straightforward. 🙂 Look forward to Mark's live show tomorrow.

@@adriandinu9567 Decided to get one. I'm only on the first build but I agree the clamps are easier than you expect and most importantly it produces a really lovely draw and great flavour.

Thanks. No need to worry although it looks like the coil is moving but by overlapping the wire over the post it is well secured and solid connection. My ohms are always on point that shows the connection is solid. It is a unique design but the fact is it works perfectly. I just love out of the box thinking😊
@@netvaper for temperature control there is nothing like a good old solid screw connection

Flavor mhmh, 1000 Azhad isnt that good i love it in Byka V6, basically all latakia blends, because for ashy and agressive v6 is.
But Basma is very good, Burley Cereals was amazing too, need a more testing.

Thank you for your comment. As for mods I don’t really have a favourite. Any reliable single 18650 battery mod will do. I have a few of those so I rotate between them all

Interesting tank, not sure about getting it myself though, i recently bought a caiman v5 style rda for trying out new liquids and have been loving that, you should try one if you haven't already, incredibly easy to build and wick, has a massive juice well as well as being almost leak proof in it's design, it is an rda which acts more like a small tank that you can dump around 1.5-2ml in and sit it on it's side, or even practically upside down without juice getting out. I thought this may interest you being in my opinion the best mtl RDA available considering there are very few to choose from.

I'm looking for the tartest Kentucky flavor from La Tabaccheria that has zero sweetness. I hate Kentucky USA, for example...but I love Mixture No. 1 - now I wanted to ask, are there any more tart Kentucky blends like Mixture No. 1? Can you think of any? Thanks for your work.
Yes the Elizabeth Royal Navy is a fine Kentucky with a slight smoky Latakia and of course the pure La Tabaccheria Kentucky

So far I think you are the most experienced reviewer on MTL RTAs.
I currently have the Bishop v2 and the expromizer v4 , what should I look for now for better flavor! What's the best flavor rta currently in the market.

Hi Adam. To be honest you have 2 top notch MTLs already😊As I said many times the difference between current MTLs in regards to flavour are not so noticeable as it used to be a just few years ago. Nowadays they all work on the same principles in regards to deck design, chimney & airflow that all contribute albeit in somewhat different ways to flavour, smooth airflow & throat hit pending on how condensed is chimney and location of the airflow pin. In short there are some differences between them but not in a major way. That said if you still want another MTL, look at Diplomat MTL RTA by centenary mods they have produced a very good MTL that Benefits from a well thought out design resulting in a superb all round MTL that will not cost you a fortune. Btw the Expromizer V4 although fairly old now it is still in my opinion a superb all rounder that would impress any current MTL vaper

Very good review sir. Also I'd like to add my 2 cents to this.
I have both an Ulton clone and the original. On the original, clamping the coil in is easier than on the clone, putting on and taking out the top cap also much more easier (too loose actually).
But strangely, using same coil, same cotton wick, same liquid, it taste better on the clone than on the original. The liquid taste how it should be, while on the original, flavor is 40-50% muted, only a little aroma came through, not full flavor like on the clone.
Though the liquid I used was not a N.E.T, it's a whiskey/vanilla flavor. Not sure if it was because of the liquid or not, this is the first time I've had a clone taste better than an original. Given at this price point, it's a shame. I'll try again with a different coil and liquid to see.

Hello sir, i listen to you and i discovered a new world of mtl. Thank you, very much. I bought dwarv, fev vs dual, kayfunx all clones . Problems wuth country rules, but wow kfx and fev perfect vape, better than every other i use. Do u think sputinik is good like the others? Mea culpa or this one in the video are the same level? I like the design for sputinik or taigun gtr... Sorry to ask so many questions but u have more knowlegde on the subject
In my opinion the Picatiny is amazing & much better then Mia culpa, if you can learn how to coil it right. I have been using it now for some time and I found it to be hassle free with superb flavour. The Sputnik is old school and very good with NETs with a very advanced airflow system. If you are buying a clone go for the Picatiny as my Sputnik is original and I am not sure if the clone would be perfectly aligned as the tank is slotted on to deck and held by 0 rings with a perfect fit, so it is vital it is a perfect alignment. You might get a perfect clone but at least you know the risk with a cloned Sputnik

I don't understand one thing Nathan, how it does not flood the deck? FEV, Bishop, Sure etc. all of them has little wicking tubes and very small canals but this one does not, how in the hell all the juice floods onto the build deck? Could you care to elaborate? Apart from that very nice review as always, thank you very much for your time and effort. From Turkey, with love.

You are right I should have spoken about that in the review. I completely forgot to mention that part. So I will explain it now. It works by the liquid running down from the tank to the rim of the main chamber and then seeping down two small side channels that are located right above the cotton. Works flawlessly

What do you think about nicotine UK closing, where are you planning on getting nicotine from afterwards.
Nicotine is not banned it's disposables only.
@mark12810. Nicotinehub (Nic Hub) is a good source. So is DarkStar and a few other vendors sell 72mg. Worth stocking up due to price increases on Nicotine next year I believe. They would last in the freezer for years. No need to go overboard as you don’t use much per 50 or 100ml. 2-3 litres will last you for ages.
@@netvaper Still a shame though I love the nic from nic UK, I've used nicotine Hub before many years ago before you reccomned nicotine UK. It was okay then but the quality wasn't as good as nic uk.They maybe better now,Yeah I actually tend to buy the the small bottles from nic UK . I tend to buy the ones that the nic is near its sell by date for half price discount and I've never had any go completely off. I'll probably start buying larger quantities now.
I recently bought some juice cabin from dark star and tbh was not impressed. Every single short fill I bought in 60ml had about ten ml in the bottle basically empty.
I emailed and they sent me new bottles out with the same issue? I don't get how anyone can mess filling up. Also the Don Benito was extremely black not cured at all.
I hope they sort it out though, just thought I'd give you my update of DS since you mentioned it in the video.
I'll probably buy from nic Hub going forward.

I've used nic Hub few years back before i discovered UK nic through your videos. It wasn't as good quality then compared to nic UK. Yeah I try to buy the nic UK salts that are near the sell by date , but it in small bottles when they have it and get it for half price and never had it go off. I've always preferred just buying smaller amounts about 500ml at a time but I'll deffo be stocking up now.
Since you mentioned DS I've had lots of issues with their juice cabin liquid's mainly massive under filling problems and Juice that's not matured. I hope they have since improved orher wise I'll be going to drakes only. Thanks Nathan

The coil installation method looks like a massive pain in the ass. I think id rather just use screws. If the flavour and the vape experience is exceptional, like amazingly above everything else it might be worth it but I'd still rather have screws I think
It takes a learning curve but I understand your point of view it certainly makes sense

Man it doesn't need practice...you have a clone...in the authentic to put the coil it's too easy...and with the upgrade kit is more easy for thin wires...stop doing clone rewies...vaping is damaged by the clones
I appreciate your opinion. My opinion is that the crazy prices for original and the fact that even if you are willing to spend that money it is not easily available to buy is the problem. Perhaps the fact that one can get a very good quality SXK close for a fraction of the original asking price might cause the modders to re-consider pricing and make them more widely available.
@@netvaper you are enabling Chinese idea thieves to dominate the market. Manufacturers waste ideas and too much time to make something and the Chinese come along and copy them making millions. If you are ok vaping rubbish in terms of quality of materials then go ahead...
