Troy made a masterpiece with Sick Fish...absolutely one of my favorite cars from Rides back in the day. Roadster Shop killed it with 2.0. They respected Troy's original design and upgraded all the suspension and drive train. Enjoy it, Joe!

Those motors are built by Mercury Marine in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Overhead cams and big cubes, all aluminum.

My friend had a 69 Camaro with a blown 427, and he wrecked it at about a 140-150 miles an hour into a house, after losing control of it. His friend and him were killed instantly, and the house they hit burned down and the family of five that that lived there, all perished in the fire. This was in the seventies, out in the middle of nowhere in rural Illinois. I never wanted to go fast in a car again,after I heard about it.

I recall Joe talking smack about the original Sick Fish after he took took it ripping through the canyons and it broke. Back then the car was fast and it was gorgeous in a way that was unparalleled, but it wasn’t as much a corner carver. Roadster Shop took it to a new level and I’m so glad they didn’t fuck with the look. I still remember the first time I saw it on the cover of Hot Rod.

I get putting door handles back on it.. but those boxy door handles should have never been on mopars. They should have went with a classic handle that complimented the body lines.
Also, those goofy modern headlines are horrible lookin man.
And the wheels don't compliment the body style either.

Its good they get the recognition. Unfortunately, only time I've seen any of Rogan's cars is via another channel. Him and Leno driving in the Vette for an episode of Leno's Garage. Autotopia, RS... Steve Strope almost like they got the cars dropped off to them or they had them in storage, called Joe up and said, "Hey, your [insert car] needs an Italian tune up, can we make a video on it too while were at it?"

What is a Mercury engine? It's a Ford engine. It may have originally been made for a Mercury but all Mercury's are Ford products and contained Ford engines. Also, in 1970 it was called a 'Cuda, not a barracuda. And, by the way back in 1970 they built these cars for straight line acceleration, not handling. The motto back then was"win on Sunday and sell on Monday"!
No it’s a custom engine for automotive use made by Mercury Marine.

I remember a TV show The Cuda was being “customized “In this episode it was being planned and the consternation when Joe (like a boss)refused to have the grille customized (and I suspect) the exterior door handles eliminated!Like a 70 Cuda or challenger needs “customized “!
