very cool car , my question is this. Which cylinder head are they using for this? I have recently seeing that some of those heads do not flow very well . as compared to More modern.
Dont know the car but familiar with the class. Only 5 Dart heads and 7 Edelbrock heads are approved castings for the class with traditional SBC combos. Many OE GM castings are listed too. A search of "NHRA ACCEPTED MASTER LIST" will show you the exact parts, and weights of those parts, for classes like SuperStock which are highly equipment regulated.
@@driverinterviews you have a very nice car. My 65 Nova back in the late 70’s only ran 11:72 @122. Can’t imagine how it would feel to what what yours does
Small block 283s and 327s been running 9s for decades in light cars with low gears. I tripped on this in the early 90s when I thought you needed a blower or a built big block.
Now THAT is classic SBC!!!
My favorite Chevrolet small block 😊
Music to my ears…what a beautiful sound!
Grumpy would be proud!
He certainly would be! 😂😂😂😂
My favorite! A SBC Nova with a stick!
60's Ford fan but I love those Novas. Very cool looking little boxy cars.
Wow what shifts amazing
Nice run and a nice job
Something about the high rev sound of a built 327
Oh yeahhh!

L79s don't run 9s
This one does. It is prepared for NHRA Super Stock Eliminator. Make no mistake about it. It is a serious class. 😮😮😮😮😊
