The index is what a well prepared car in that class should run. A showroom 79 Nova 350 automatic runs mid 17s. Thats how stock Jim's car is.

Thats a cool car. i was lucking to walk in the pits with all the greats on the seventy's and eighty's and one time Bill Jenkins through me out of his trailer i was wonting to meet him but i was just a little drunk. i would not trade all the drag racing memories as fan and a racer for nothing.

If one of my all time favorites Moroso opened again under your management Bobbie I would move to the area and help in a flat minute. That was a great track and I went there to race the winter seasons 1983-86 loved that track when it was Ron by Dick Moroso.

Dodge started putting the 383 in the Dart/Barracudas in 1967. I believe Mr. Norm at Grand Spaulding Dodge made their own 440 GSS Dart in 1968. The Factory introduced the 440 in the 1969 Model year Dart/Barracudas.
