Most of the people in my country live in apartments, with no/small balconies, it is sadly considered a huge luxury to have a garden. My balcony is my garden and stray cat shelter, but having a garden, being connected to nature, just being able to sit out there, walk out there, plant flowers, hear the birds .... all so important. So everyone out there with a garden - enjoy it, take good care of it, know how lucky you are.
Now come on. This person ovb doesn't know you. You are not running all around. And I don't see how you've let yourself go. Jo, plz continue to do you. We support/love you. Geez, Jo.
Another Sunday and another morning with you Jo! I love when you take us with you on your “travels “ as such, and we get to see where you live, work and play when things are normal. Don’t apologize for anything. I look forward to these mornings. I even tell my husband where I’ve been with you as he was stationed in London and he loves to hear all about it! That was great advice to buy a plant or a flower. And support your local florist. I love Simon!
Jo, the reason why your vlogs work is because they are so natural and real, no airs and graces just real life, which is why I love watching- you are doing a fab job👍😊
Jo, loved this with Simon and Philippe. I just recently stumbled upon your channel and have been binge watching during lock down. Your London life has made me crave a visit here. What a blessed and wonderful life you’ve made for yourself. Once life starts to return to some sort of normality, it will make us all appreciate what we often take for granted. Just looking from your window fills me with a sense of wonder - it’s so beautiful. Stay safe and thank you for sharing! X
Another lovely vlog. You look lovely. If you had woken up in full make-up and hair done that wouldn't be real. Your appeal and charm is your authenticity. I hope when you do have 100k subs you won't change a bit! So many do, I guess it becomes more of a job then and people rely on the money from you tube so lose a bit of the real-ness. Anyway, thanks for a lovely stroll around London, and the chat with Simon was lovely too. :-) Happy Sunday x
I look forward to this wonderful time of my week, a lovely cup of coffee and your vlog 💗. Absolutely loved your chat with Simon. My garden is definitely my happy space, particularly in these difficult times!! My local garden centre, which is run by a wonderful family, is such a lovely place to visit, and I have been worrying about their long term prospects following on from their closure at this time. Unfortunately they don’t have an online service - I wonder what will happen to all the plants they usually have in stock around this time? It’s heartbreaking. BTw, for the first time in my life I have been practicing the alternate nose breathing regularly, so calming and hopefully improving my lung capacity too! Stay safe Jo, have a good week xx
you're an inspiration to me and im sure a lot of other people ....your energy and enthusiasm is so uplifting and positive .. thankyou please stay you ...💖
Jo, sometimes I have been catching your vlogs later than the sunday, so don't then comment as you probably don't see then. Just get overwhelmed with how much I truly love you and some people might think sad, but you have become a friend, probably a virtual one, but hey!!! Your stripping yourself bare (if you pardon the expression ) with this lock down, and that takes confidence, you and your dear Mum stay safe, lots from away up here in Scotland x
Don't feel guilty Jo - you're most definitely a key worker in these times of trouble, and you walk to work and follow all the govt guidelines for distancing. You lift our spirits on both your radio show and with these entertaining vlogs x
Please don’t think you look awful, don’t think you could look awful if you tried. Even on a good day I would never look as good as you. You continue to inspire me whenever I see you on UA-cam xx
Good morning Jo. A great uplifting video as always. I so agree with Simon. I love getting into the soil. I am very lucky to have a garden. Gardening is great for physical and mental health.
You know Jo, I have been noticing things in the neighborhood that I never saw before too. It shows you how distracted we were going about day in and day out. Gives new meaning to stop and smell the roses....🌹🤣
I loved this vlog! I've always grown tomatoes in pots, but I went online and ordered all sorts of vegetable seeds and plants to grow in pots! 🤗 I was a florist for years, absolutely wonderful job, really miss it. London on a nice sunny day, nobody about perfect! Most clear evenings I go outside, take in the cold night air, look skywards and look at the moon and stars. SO peaceful, good for the soul. 🌎🌛☄
Really enjoyed my half an hour with you and your friends Jo Thankyou so nice to get away from it all for a while . I also like your walks through London I love seeing the sights and your little tips and stories as you go by various places. By the way you look absolutely fine Jo and I'm being honest you always do . Have a good day xx
Thank you Jo and the Royal Florist for putting a smile on my face! 💞😊 Nature is the best medicine. I'm blessed with a few acres and am surrounded by trees. Our roses are out at the moment and their perfume is beautiful. Stay safe. Love and hugs from the Hunter Valley Australia.💞💖
Oh Jo, you are so incredible and such an inspiration for me. Beautiful, kind, hard working and everything worth anything. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for being here for me.☮️🇨🇦Simon is simply perfect.
I just said to my husband last week......how blessed we are to have a large garden during these times....a place to enjoy the sunshine, hear the birds, feel the earth, smell the flowers, grow some veggies. I’m very thankful for that. Lovely to see Simon. Thanks Jo! 💚Deb
Im lurching between baking....badly, over exercising and then having to rest for two days because Im hurt muscles I haven't use since well forever. Oh and meditating {new} while fantasising about my new career and the men I will no longer bonk, once lock-down lifts.
Hello Jo, That was so much fun and Simon is a gem. Your so real, like a good friend, genuine and lovely to follow......because your you and just yourself is the appeal for your growing followers. Please always stay true to Jo! Our weather is finally warming up and we have a little back yard and garden area to get us outside into the fresh air and dug about planting and growing. Stay safe,Stay healthy
Thank you so much Jo. We all look the same in varying stages of decay, ha ha. Please don’t apologize. This is how we are. Was so looking forward to your video today. I had to watch it in two parts so I could do my live stream yoga class. We can’t start growing things here in Canada yet. Still too cold. Loved the walk to work and hearing about all the places and streets you pass. Thanks. You make my day...
Hysterical, Jo. Studio living in lockdown - we deserve a medal. As for on the online Zoom classes, suddenly life is all about hiding piles of ironing out of camera view. Really enjoyed what Simon Lycett had to say about soil - so true. Enjoy the sunshine.... responsibly, mind. 😉
Amazing post! The incredible Simon was a breath of fresh air! Thank you for taking us on your walking journey to work. Sad, yet reassuring to see people following the social distancing and/or just staying at home. Be safe! Can’t wait for Wednesday vlog!
Love that jumper Joe, it’s my birth year. I will be 50 this year in isolation, but will still celebrate as best as possible with my hubby and kids here at home. Be safe 🤘🏻
Jo, you have inspired me and given a lift to my spirits. I am thinking about what I will plant in my garden pots this spring. Flowers, nature, animals and walking will keep us all healthy. And we have you with your cheerful, motivational vlogs. Thank you so much. Keep on posting!!!
Brilliant Jo I make up my own ballet class for exercise while listening to Classic FM it makes me feel good . The look on Rosco’s face is so funny . As for the hair Jo we are all in the same boat and I think it will change what we do about colour when we come out the other side ....lots of love to you and Tilda xx
Hi Jo, keep up the great work and keeping us connected ❤️. I read the RHS magazine this morning and Simon was right about their article about getting your hands in soil and the importance of the microbes in it! Also some lovely articles about the importance of green spaces and getting out in nature. Sending ❤️to you and Mutti x
Jo, i love your vids during these stressful times. My son is an essential worker (he supports the electricity grid), and goes into work each day. It's lovely of you to bring us with you when you are out. I heard that Claridge's opened their rooms to NHS staff who can't go home. I think that's wonderful! Thank you so much for continuing to post your videos. Love to your mum and Mathilda too! xo
I would love you to come to LA! Garden centers are open her and everyone is gardening and all the yards are looking fabulous. It is the only thing we can do. Stay safe!
Nice bit of Sunday morning entertaining. Fabulous. That's something I have been thinking of , what happens to us men when our hair starts to get longer and we cannot get a haircut ??? Have a great week Jo. Adrian
Thank you for the walk to work❤ I miss London 😪 great interview and nice to meet Philippe. Have a great Sunday🌹🌹 I will be on my balcony as I also live in a flat. Look forward to Wednesday visit of your life and don't listen to the moaners there only jealous 😘
As usual I loved that jo. Amazed how you can keep us entertained for 26 minutes in these strange times. Love seeing how you’re coping but missing your lovely mom. Stay safe jo, see you on Wednesday x
Thanks for lovely upbeat post. Here in Virginia our gardens are just starting to bloom. We have a lot of pollen. The sky was a haze of yellow for most of the day yesterday. I agree with Simon about getting your hands in the soil. There is something so energizing about tending to living things. Stay well.
Thanks again for another joyful pause in my week. Will now follow Simon too as I love learning about plants, and gardens though I live in a 4th floor walk up. Best wishes to all as we press on through another week.
Lovely vlog, again! Try doing a zig zag parting to break up the regrowth, not as noticeable when you have regrowth as with a straight parting. It’s working for me! Jx
I just discovered your channel and I'm in love. Your enthusiasm is everything. And by the way I love, love, love, seeing bits of London. Finally a Boomer Vlog that's fun! God bless ❤
I am a recent subscriber and love you! Just got my silk pajamas yesterday:) I started growing orchids a year ago, just in my windows with some led lighting but I have about 60 of them and I am so glad I have them. I live on 93 acres but the orderliness of the orchids in pots is really soothing. I have a lot of blooms. All different kinds of orchids...learned to care for them on utube.
Hi Jo Matilda and your mum. 🤩 beautiful day today jo and I just love flowers so that video was cheerful. I'm usually such a healthy eater and gym at least 4 times a week but oh dear I had defo got to stop picking all day on rubbish food. ! My fridge is usually empty! but when i go food shopping I'm buying food i would never ever buy cheese crisps even cake ! My scales are not my best friend this week .BUT today it stops I'm back on track 😇 takecare everyone. 😇
Love everything about this channel. You are a true gift in these difficult times. Stay well and know that you a providing a valuable service to your subscribers.
It's true what Simon said about all those industries being gone. I work in hospitality, in a big hotel in Southern Sweden, and even though we don't have a general quarantine here, my job was one of the first ones to go, because events over 500 people (conferences, concerts, and sport events) were prohibited very early on. We went from 700 guests, to 120 overnight, and dwindled down to less than 50. Only a tiny skeleton of staff remains. I was hired by the hour, normally had a good enough income, and that is gone. It is scary, but I have faith things will get better soon. We can only hope. Stay safe everyone!!!
I so look forward to seeing you first thing Sunday mornings. I watch on my tv and then log in later in the week to watch again and to comment. So happy to hear that you may be coming to Los Angeles. I'm sure I won't see you, but will be great knowing that you are here. All the best to you, your mom and Matilda.
Jo I just love how natural your videos are, no rehearsals or staging, what we see is what we get. Love it!!! Most Australians are working from home too. Your yoga workout was great. I do a workout or go for a walk every day, a lot of cleaning and sweeping outside and look forward to your videos each week. You said in a previous video that you would still visit your mum but would have to view her through the window. Would it be possible to include this in a vlog? Hope she is well. See ya on Wednesday. Love from Aussie. Xxx
Hi Jo, really enjoying following you..... you're a breath of fresh air and I love seeing your life in London ! Keep up the good work and stay safe. Xxxxx
Really really enjoyed this vlog! Please don't worry how u look in your yoga wear. You look fabulous. I'm pleased you have begun to show more of your body as you can be extremely proud. And that's from a man! You are still so youthful! Loved your zoom with Simon. Keep up these awesome vlogs, it makes life a bit more exciting! Wish you well Jo. X
Hi Jo 🙂 I thought you might be interested to know that Claridges is donating all of its unoccupied rooms to NHS staff who require accommodation in central London and is providing meals for them too. I read it on their Instagram page. Great spirit 👍🏽
Good day, I was very surprised to recongnize myself when you talked about that woman who left a comment earlier. I think it was me. I'm shy now. I feel like I may have been a little too fast jumping and typing. I may have been emotional, I kept hearing and seeing people not taking this matter seriously ( Covid-19). At the start of my trip, after 5 hours on the train, by myself, that brought me to the airport for the flight to Spain; I wa saying to myself: I'm going to Spain, Spain...oh my ! Extraordinary, wasn't it! I flew overseas for the first time ever, for a period of 90 days. Well, to my surprise my stay was no longer a vacation. The governement of Spain declared that everyone should stay indoors and go out only for absolute necessity. So, there I was, confined in my little studio, helicopters and police drones ensuring that nobody was outside. An apocolyptic scene! Police ensuring security at the grocery store. On my only allowed outing I would get stopped by police on my way back, asking for proof of purchase to ensure i was out for neccessities. After my husband from back home, managed to secure me a flight to go back to Canada. And presently, I am also quarantined for another 14 days. I am grateful for the chance I had to be able to fly home, but my only trip in years and years and years, turned out into a pandemic !? Isn't it extraordinary ?! Long story short, may I be excused for the comment I made, but that was the context ? ! It was a harrowing experience!
Jo, we’ve all got re-growth! Love your snippets of London Town. I’m originally from Birmingham UK, but live in Australia, so glimpses of are good for my soul. Thank you!

Xxx
Jo we love you just the way you are! Can you please keep making your cooking videos? Your soup looked yummy!
Fabulous as always Jo. You have lovely friends. Missed seeing your mum this week. Hope she is doing well x
Hi Jo 🙂 I thought you might be interested to know that Claridges is donating all of its unoccupied rooms to NHS staff who require accommodation in central London and is providing meals for them too. I read it on their Instagram page. Great spirit 👍🏽
Delightful as always. Stay safe and well and sending love to your mum also from Australia 🇦🇺 😘
Good day,
I was very surprised to recongnize myself when you talked about that woman who left a comment earlier.
Loved walking to work with you! Love from Canada! Stay Safe
Jo, we’ve all got re-growth! Love your snippets of London Town. I’m originally from Birmingham UK, but live in Australia, so glimpses of are good for my soul. Thank you!
