Generally kids at 6 are supposed to move on from tricycles and balance bikes to pedal bicycles with training wheels. Most children's bicycles have 12" wheels, but pre-teen ones are 20-26". Such bikes can also be ridden by an adult. Because I am an adult and I have an MTB with 26" and a simple road bike with 20". That's why I think they recommend 6... Kids grow up fast, and sometimes what is basically similar to adult ends up forming exactly at pre-teen age. Helmets? At 10, kids have 95-98% of the adult head size. But helmets are a crucial safety tool.
Im 47 and I drive an F550 diesel dually hahaha. I put my 13 year old daughter on a 2019 suzuki 400 and our last run she tiped the machine but did not go over. Scared the crap out if me. That's why Im Here looking for a smaller machine. Our guests will ride that suzuki and thinking about a Honda 250.
