I tried this braid pattern b/c I wanted to try a different pattern besides the straight-back cornrows on my sis who has thin hair in the middle. I also am not the best braider. For years, I struggled with fully grasping the concept of cornrowing, and little by little I would make progress. I watched this video a few times and I have to admit it was so beginner-friendly. I tweaked it a little for my skill level and for some reason THIS braid pattern was when the light bulb went off on how I needed to place my hands to braid close to the scalp. Thank you!!!

hello. I can suggest you make sure the hair is fully detangled.. and use jam and a grease to help the look as well as the grip to the braid. look up "HairIsDone" on Facebook. thanks.
