Rose Petal509 i still do it if im asked too or if needed. and been doing it for 7 yrs
Jordan Easterwood AYE IM FROM STL MISSOURI
Another great job!!! Love the color combo. Using rubber bands is great for people who can't grip well, plus not doing it so tight is saving her edges. I like the random parting, makes the style different and unique. 👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you.
I agree
Beautycanbraid do you have a shop and if you do where?
this is great! thanks for the tutorial....
Finally! Someone that does a tutorial as if she actually wants people to learn it! Awesome job! Thank you!
i love this style its beautiful, i will be trying it
+cynthykay obi I can hardly wait to see this on your beautiful hair!
lovely
cynthykay obi No Cynthykay
I love it
I love u cynthykay obi
Love how she showed how to hold the hair with your fingers RIGHT BEFORE the install. For some reason 98% of the other braids tutorials I've seen skip this step! Great job!
These seem so much better than regular box braids. You don't have to deal with your head hurting for for like 2/3 days at all. And these are way fast to do than 4/6 hours. I want to try these out. Even though this generation is too much, we are finding lots of easy and creative ways to do hair, makeup, and just regular dance challenges. I can say this generation is very creative. You did a great job.
you literally saved me $150 thank you so much for posting this. I have two daughters one is 12 and love her hair like this... I am a beginner braider, and this just save me money from taking her to other people! I truly thank you for this sis!
YOU did that with the color combo for sure. Another great style that's quick and not too complicated, just right for my child's ever changing hairdos. As always nice and neat. Thanks alot @beautycanbraid! Happy holidays!
box braids : "she's braiding too tight ! that causes breakage to the hair and edges !"
sew in : "the braided base is way too tight ! that causes her hair to fall out and become thin !" "all that heat is gonna causes breakage !"
silk press/straightening : "all that heat will cause breakage !"
natural : those Bantu knots are too tight ! that'll cause breakage !" "those flexi rods will break your hair off"
damn , we can't do shit . we gone be bald every time huh ? those braids were big enough around the edges to where they won't cause any breakage or be too tight . chill out ! y'all think breathing on hair causes breakage and what not . sheesh !
because to make sure it stay in her head
Nikayla Jones. I is suppose. to be tight so the braids Dont fall out
Nikayla Jones that does not cause breakage I do my 12 year olds hair like this and her hair is down her back please.....
Renee Barrett-Crump I think she means everyone is complaining about her hair braiding
abrea covington oh ok I read it again
Girllllll u are on a roll.I love love your handiwork .Ur videos are the best . u make it very detailed in a short amount of time . making it very easy for even a novice. U are great in what u do Girl. And thanks for sharing your techniques Remain blessed.
These remind me of the braids all the girls in the movie Friday were rocking. Beautiful work as always! ❤️
TheKeiToLife Vlogs u right
🖒
lol. '' u ain 't got to lie , Greg, you ain't got to lie" lol
Beautiful.😍 its so pretty. ur client is beautiful2. i jus admire ur skill n talent. keep posting bcuz u r my guide n teacher.😊
By far the best video for beginning braiders. I appreciate you showing the technique multiple times so i can actually get it. Thank you so much! I will be trying this.
I love this, and I absolutely love your videos. Straight to the point, not a lot of talking. Great!
Thanks for repeatedly showing and focusing on the technique of how to attach the hair onto the natural hair. That's the part that gets me. I remember rubber band braids from the 90's. However I've always been concerned about breakage from using the rubber bands. I love her hair color. They look great.
i have watched every single video of yours and learned how to perfect a few of the styles you have demonstrated and now i have a small hair business much love girl
Your talent is unmatched!!!! Beautiful job as always!!
I absolutely love your different techniques to braiding, I am definitely taking notes...THANK YOU!!!
I had to comment because of the stupidity of these comments regarding the sections/parting being random. She listed in the video there are 32 sections. Random? Obviously, you don't pay attention to detail. The precision this woman executed is bar none. Get ya life, and get you some glasses.
Agreed! 👍👍
Bob's Daughter
EpiphanyBlack Yep . And I have done random sections and it STILL looked good because as long as the edge sections are on point that is really what makes them look best ...to me any way . I am no expert
the colors combination is AMAZING...😍😍
I used rubber bands when I was like 13 lol I can't believe 20 years later it came back around
brandi carlgren exactly
***** YES MA'M
lol. i just posted that.
Truth
I love the colors. Good job,as always!
***** girl yea when I was young n didn't know how to grip the hair tight lol
she so beautiful and so is your work as always. She looks like a Queen and her hair is her crown.
I love your videos BCB, theyre so easy to understand and you can watch them anytime, anywhere, even on mute. I am going to try this on myself but probably with a braid to separate the the boxes instead of a rubber band. I hope it works out.
GRACIAS!
great. Thank you
If you haven't already, can you do a detailed tutorial on parting? I love your work! You do a really good job and I love how detailed you are especially on how to set the hair up before you install it
Kaitlin Borland thanks . Ok
Like I love the detail on the triangle parting
Kaitlin Borland ok, what parting you're talking about?
Beautycanbraid Like the rounded ones you did in this video
Beautycanbraid I agree! You show the first three parts and I was excited thinking we'd see you go through and part everything off but it skipped and you were already don't me with 32 lol. also triangle and square parting for box braids / twists, so many videos don't show that and even if sped up we beginners would be able to pause and go back to copy how to part the entire head then make adjustments and learn how to to it on our own. For small, medium and large braids on whatever clients come to recieve those styles would be great. Me personally I love 25-32 range for parts because I don't like spending a lot of time taking out braids but I'd appreciate the lessons for smaller parts! I usually have trouble trying to figure out how to part the center, sides and front of my hair
Yours tutorials seem 2 b the most detailed & precise instructions thus far out of wat I've watched so far.
This is how my mom started braiding in the 90's. All of her coworkers got their daughters' hair braided in ponytail bobs back then.
Cateia Jones i was jus thinkin the same thing. she used to call them dookie braids lol
Great video❤️! She has some beautiful natural hair. Love it✨
Another wonderful job. i constantly send ur videos to my daughter to give her ideas and the how-to of hairstyling. Thank you so much for breaking it down step by step for people that have gone natural and need to know what and how to do next. Continued success to you!
This is really pretty I haven't seen that rubber band method since I was a kid wowwww.
teila summers I 19 briday
TeeTee Teila Summers to bed at the end o.o the morning I need to talk to u call me please don't let them child to 4th July of a bath and go
You are a creative genius,I'm sooooooo proud that you are my country sister👏🏾🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹
Thank you
Nice
I LOVEEEEE how you kept showing how you section off the weave to start the braid that was soooooo helpful
You totally rock! this is so well done. My daughter is so tender headed so this is the method I will try on her. Thanks for continuing to share your talent.
I can't believe we have some one so talented right here in Tampa ,Florida I'm Amazed
Best freaking instructional video, I ever seen!!! I love how you kept going over how the position your fingers with the hair.. Love this
I 😍this technique! Seems like less tension
I need to try this for a quick style for awhile. Let my scalp breathe. Really really cute!
By far the best method that I've seen thus far..and I've seen a lot of videos...good job..all your videos are. A blessing to someone who is learning to do hair
THE best hair braiding tutorial I have ever seen. You are def. the real mvp🖒
Now I know how to box braid. It only took me 40 something years and 7 minutes. You made it so easy to learn. Beautiful work and superior talent. Thank You So Much.
took it back to the basics...love it
mz Tremias yea she did.......i used to get this done when i was young. cuz my hair was too short to grip. this shit aint nothing new or innovative. but it does look good👍
Myra O exactly. I would cut mines n soon as i had enough to grip i had those rubber bands and hair that's when hair was $.89!...lol
mz Tremias RIGHT!!! those big ass packs of hair for 89 cents.....and yu got a shitload of hair in the pack. much much more than u get now.
Myra O Girl can they bring the good ol days back..i hear ppl talking about needing 8pks of hair! 😯😯😯...Same style we did in the 90's with 2pks...ton of hair in those pks..but i rock my own so I Cnt see myself buying $8.99 hair for 3 braids!
okay kay kay👍👍👍💃💃💃 lol
Idk why women insist on hating smh. it doesn't matter how long you have been doing it, the woman is just teaching others. She never said this a brand spanking new way of braiding. And if you sat through and watched the whole video and commented that you have been doing this then you look...yea not going to go there. good job sweetheart and more vids please thanks.
saw a few pics on IG of girls with this and thought maybe the stylist was being lazy making the parts so big lol but I guess this the new version of big box plaits. You did a nice job as always though. love the color.
Timaa J lol this the old school version of when they were called dookie braids they look a little neater when you use rubber bands and the person has alot of hair
I remember braids something like this but they looked more like color purple plaits with only maybe 10 plaits. These are a mix between those I'm talking about and regular big braids. Idk. They look off to me. I hope this isn't what my daughter was talking about the other day saying she wanted box braids. 😦😦😦
Naturally_miss thanks but i aready know braids come in all sizes. Lol. Im part of beauty notification squad I've seen her other videos. I personally don't like the big parting. Thanks though
best editing ever... you know what a braider wants to see (over and over)... and the pace we we like to see it in. Excellent editing!!! beautiful work! (I probably won't use the rubber bands though- even still, very nice)
THANK you so much for repeatedly showing your technique slowly... Amazing job as always
I love this so much 😍 but I'm starting to think people don't really watch the video cause they ask questions like how many packs like as if you didn't state that in the video 😭
I love the way you braid . You make it look very easy !!❤️❤️
Finally a tutorial that actually teaches u how to braid!!!!!!
omg thank you... thank you for this technique!!! for some reason I just can't understand how to anchor the hair to make the braid, but this I can do. I can't wait to try. I really liked how you repeat, repeat, repeat. great video.
You are so damn talented with this braiding shit RT Just slaying the braid game fr
Thank you
because of this video I can do these braids! thank you!!! I love your videos
Convenient technique for jumbo box braids definitely.
You are the master gripper sisi 💕
Oh wow! I'm going to try this method on my hair. I never could do box braids because I don't know how to start them. This method also seems like it'll be easier to detangle your hair once you take them down. Thank you! Love all your videos! 😊
This technique has been around since the 80's when I first starting braiding hair. Back when we called them dookie braids... we always did the rubberbands first ... then follow up with the braiding. It creates a smoother look at the roots and lasts longer.
I love this method this is how I always do my box braids because they come out neater...I love your work
Wow...this is an ol skool method used since at least the 90s...good to see its coming back!
Goldilocs on point - stunning! And thanks for flagging up the rubber band grip method - I'd forgotten but it's a method I used to use and very effective.
Laughter Loves Life what's the benefit of doing this method is it better than the traditional way
AnneEsther It grips really fine or short hairs and keeps the partings neat and precise. The traditional way can still work but if you're using jumbo braids, the 'rubber band grip' gives them something to hold onto without slipping off.
Laughter Loves Life
Laughter Loves Life OK
one of the best up close step by step braiding tutorial ever thank u so much
Since I had my daughter, I made it my mission to learn how to braid! No one taught me how to! My mother acted like it's something in my DNA 😔 Thank you for these helpful videos. I can finally save money and slay!!!
you make this look like the easiest thing.... and when i say i cant do hair... i really cant do haiar but watching your videos make me wanna try everything!!
thank you for making this vid, and executing these braids so beautifully ! I will surely try this over the weekend on my own hair! wish me luck!
I love how you repeated that one part on how to separate the hair several time lol. It definitely helped!! Thank you for this. ❤️
beautiful as always!!! Have you ever done these larger box braids on your own head? i started to do them today and decided to do crochet samba braids instead. less time and hassel... next time... maybe. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR TUTORIALS... You're truly a blessing to my family.
This is amazing! Best method I've seen thus far! Thank you!
old news if you're an 80s baby then you know this was done in the 90s first good to see it coming back though😃
You are the reason I can braid now. I watched one of your videos and I just tried on my daughters hair. I was tired of people trying to charge so much to braid their hair I spent 700 dollars in a shop one time that was for 4 heads 😔 smh never again that's when I learned by watching you thank you for making it so easy to follow
@Beautycanbraid
Thank you for showing me some love on your Instagram! I am forever a fan and if I'm ever in your area I definitely coming to get our hair done by you! The best I have seen on UA-cam and I have watched a lot of braiding videos! And you are beautiful person inside and out! Keep up the good work! @beautycanbraid

Whaaaa just perfect 👌 I really like the colour too. Good job!
I want to really thank you for this tutorial I wish I could upload pics of the braids I did after watching this grateful for people like you
i really appreciated this method. i also appreciate the way you braided the hair. i neve understood the 2/3 thing until now
This is the only method I ever used. It looks neat and the coloring looks nice.
You are the first person I've seen who braids to the very end of the hair. Most times they leave a few inches at the bottom. I love it❤️ 😍
thank you.
Beautycanbraid 75
You are a wonderful teacher! Love your work!!!
Thank you for this I know how to cornrow but never knew how to start a box braid I needed this thank you I’ve watched a lot of videos that just never made scenes thank you so much
I love your styles and techniques...beautiful...I learn a lot from the videos
Great look for the holidays. Thanks for sharing x
thank you.
I'm going to try this on my daughter's hair. she currently has crochet braids in thanks to you and your braid patterns lol
You are absolutely positively amazing!! Awesome talent & a blessing for those who need their hair done 👏💃😀😇😍🙌
thanks 😘😊
This is such a great help for people like me who can't cornrow or braid tight to save my life. My parting skills are janky, but this is a style that won't take long to do & my baby can wear it for a couple weeks. Now, if someone can invent an easy way to cornrow, I'll be straight.
the parting is perfect, even amounts of hair in each section, no random strands from one section to another......looks very nice.
Exactly, done nice & neat!
Thank you
man her videos are by far the best
I just love your SUPER easy techniques!
Thank you
Yasssss! you went old school on us! I love it!!!
Mannnnnn who trynna make an appointment wit me imma have u slayed after i watch these

Love this method so much I followed it, doing mine, myself yesterday and love it 🤩 low maintenance.
thank you for this!!! camera angles make all the difference, some tutorials I've watched their hands get in the way 😂. I could clearly see what you were doing, thank you so so much, you've made my life easier 👍👍.
you are the greatest!!but only when I try to make myself it comes loose and really far from roots, how I can grip the roots myself?
you ll have to keep practicing. try smaller pieces when practicing.
please give me some tip or make video on self braiding
Beautycanbraid
thank you so much! i braid differently & could never get this technique till i watched your video.
90's styles coming back!

Right, but these look a lot better.
pop nick qansnsnxhxbxbxhx
2 HOURS?! that's incredibleeeeee😍😍😍😍😍😍
this showed me that you can never be too old for the rubber band method. so many people have damage my hair and I dont trust people, so I can try this myself.
I really love da color u did an amazing job
she the best at making videos about hair!!)
Lasonya Tomlinson thanks
Beautycanbraid very nice
I enjoyed watching all the braiding videos.
very nice work...do you have a tip on how much hair to use on each box braids...I know it's based on the size, some times for me it's a hit or miss...
Effortlessly beautiful. Still waiting for that Jersey visit.
Thank you. lol
