    I love your content Patrick, and I will always be subscribed to you simply because... but that's not why people use the 9-to-5. Henry Ford (the original founder of ford) was known for testing out crazy test ideas on a whim with his business, Ford. One of Henry's "whims" was that working 8 hours instead of 10-12 hours a day would make people productive, and many of the board members were against it. Yet when Henry neglected them anyways and announced that he was going to make employees work less hours, the output of production results doubled and sometimes tripled and quadrupled. When Ford (the company) put out a press release about these results, that's when every other company started to adopt the 9-to-5 schedule. They wanted "doubled and sometimes tripled and quadrupled" results too.
    Now, about the "people are starting to figure it out." I think you are definitely right man. People are starting to realize they don't need "bosses" anymore but clients and partners instead. Even preachers are starting to promote this path of life to people.

      if you spend time giving your time helping others instead of accumulating enough to do so, then you will never be rich.
      Being rich and successful is earning more and spending less.
      Generous people want to give but they have nothing to give. Become rich first , then give.

      Life Masterz his company all his employees are entrepreneurs, it is they won't get paid unless they make a sale, so their income is limitless, and it is in control by their own effort, not on being 9-5 only. Hope that helps

      I have always wondered how people could work for a guy who preaches entrepreneurship. Kind of ironic!

    • @denchua
      @denchua 7 років тому +4

      Such is the life of an entrepreneur. If you box yourself with 9-5, you just treat your job like a house chore to get your allowance. Entrepreneurs love their "job" because it's their life's work. Heck, I hate two day weekends. I wish I could work 12 hours a day 6 days a week. I see opportunities wherever I go and it frustrates the hell out of me on why people are so laid back. I'm lucky enough to have found a sales personnel who's a real go getter and I compensate him greatly for his efforts.

    • @denchua
      @denchua 7 років тому +6

      Entrepreneurship is not for everybody. It's a choice.
      Regarding aspiring entrepreneurs who work for a guy who preaches entrepreneurship, what's the difference between that and working for yourself? Think about it. Your boss' company is basically your supplier, financier, and accountant, and your customers are still your customers. Nothing will stop you from building your own company but please remember that you have to manage your supply chain, manage the financing, be responsible for the accounting of everything, and manage salespeople who has to keep the company afloat. Yeah you get the biggest reward, but amount of risk and resources is just intense.

    hey pat could you please do a Video on the skills you can't outsource as an entrepreneurs. I hear a lot of people advice CEOs to hire the skills they don't have. but which skills are a must have, that cannot under any circumstances be hired. Thanks

    • @WorkingCapitalVlog
      @WorkingCapitalVlog 7 років тому

      In my opinion, it is the systemiseable tasks that should be outsourced i.e calendar management, a lot of your marketing etc. What the CEO needs to be able to do is relay the vision of the company to each department/member of the team, build relationships with people who are going to push the business forward and manage the board of directors that in reality run the company such as the sales director, ops director and technical director. Make sure to check out our channel, we are doing this in real life :-)

      Team Shmo It does for the average person that wants to live a safe, structured life. Lots of people here on this channel don't get, that being an entrepreneur is not something for everybody and only a certain amount of people are striving for an independent life. It's way more comfortable if you are being told what to do. That said, I want to see both sides to judge what pleases me the most

    • @Teamshmo
      @Teamshmo 7 років тому

      Now a days take the 9-5 with the pension and do 6-12 on your side business. Best of both worlds. If the side business does amazing dump the 9-5 and grow it into a monster. If it doesn't you'll still have fun with it and have money from the regular job. Best of both worlds.

    Partic, there's one thing in an entrepreneurship that really really bothers me, and, I guess, many many more people. So, I, we, would really appreciate if you talk about it in one of your videos.
    So you are always talking about setting goals and going for your goal not looking anywhere but straight. That your business must be your child and you shouldn't adopt other ideas, other children, while you are raising your kid (business).
    What fears me the most is that let's say you put all your affords, all your time in your business. Working 25 hours a day and you become successful. Your business starts growing faster and faster and one day several big companies that do similar business, just take your ideas and start doing the same thing you do, say selling or building the same product you do. Those companies worth billions and you just hit a million dollar mark. You have absolutely no way to compete with them, because they putting so much money in it, that will literally kill your business in several weeks. That's what scaring me the most. Putting so much effort and time into your baby (business), when a huge massive company can just kill you in a matter of days when they start doing the same thing.

      My friend I only wish at 18 I was thinking the way you are thinking. And asking is smart. You are absolutely ready. Never let anybody tell you that you aren't. I'd say like some of the others have, find a successful Real Estate Broker and Invest your time and resources in learning your trade. Read, Read, Read. And use your active experience as your college type education while at the same time building your wealth creation muscles. Your greatness is developed between your ears and in practical, systematic application. You've Got This! And if you so desire after you've made some real $$$ you can always get your business degree afterwards. The traditional way is too slow. And was established for the Industrial Age. We're now in the Information Super Highway Age.
