We no longer have one in my state. I've never tried the fresh ones.
Yep! For some reason, when they come right off the belt they melt in your mouth. You can eat six of them and not feel stuffed.
Don't have one in my town. Closest one is 5 hours away.
Is it just mean who doesn’t like the freshly new ones because it melts quickly?
@@LindaC616 do you heat them up a little bit? makes them a bit closer to the fresh experience. Just a tip, I know many don't like it warm so they don't heat it up.

Did you all know that they don't advertise in traditional marketing? It's all done with "word of mouth" marketing.
In 2006 they turned to television and radio ads with “Share the Love” campaign.
Might have been true back in the day, but I've gotten lots of ads for their products on my social media accounts (sponsored ads from the brand itself). Also back in the day they used to give free little paper hats that kids could wear that had their logo/design on them, if the kids wear them around that's free wandering marketing lol
That’s still mostly true. They only advertise directly on their social media and if you’re subscribed to their emails. I’ve never seen TV or radio ads ever... not even internet ones.Truly the superior donut chain.
Here in Virginia they have billboards and the delivery trucks have huge pictures of the Donuts in the boxes with their traditional logo
No advertising needed, it's Krispy Kreme.

We have a Krispy Kreme locally. They’re so good when made fresh that morning. Melts in the mouth like a dream! Grandma deserves this treat. She’s a sweetie.
I like to eat them as they come off the belt freshly made and hot. You hardly notice that you have eaten anything. When my husband and I were young marrieds, we stopped at our local Krispy Kreme after a movie. The donuts were coming off the belt fresh and hot. My husband ate 12 glazed donuts and drank several cups of coffee. He didn’t notice until he got behind the wheel of our Volkswagen Doodle Bug that the hot coffee caused the yeast to rise again in his stomach. Suddenly, he could no longer fit behind the wheel because of his expanding stomach. He pushed the seat back as far as possible and was MISERABLE on our way home. Lesson learned!!

For this North Carolina born-and-bred fellow, my Krispy Kreme favorites are
1) Original glazed (of course)
2) Raspberry filled glazed
3) Plain cake
Y'all can do whatever else you want, just leave me these.
It’s not exactly the same, but if you microwave the original glazed for about 10 seconds, it’s very similar to a fresh, hot one. I grew up selling Krispy Kreme to raise money for church stuff.
Put them in a toaster or airfryer for 2min and they taste even better

I found your youtube channel almost a year ago and while I scrolled and binge watched your content back then I remember when I stumbled across the videos with grandma OK. I couldn't help myself but cry bc it had been a month or two only since my grandma passed away so yes this month is gonna be a year already since she left. My grandma used to love sweets, she had such a sweet tooth so watching this video is making me tear up a bit bc I miss her so much. I feel happy by seeing you enjoy precious time with your lovely grandma. Zoey, 15 seconds in the microwave makes such a difference.
Ah, yes, you have to microwave it! But try 5 seconds first. Depends on how strong your microwave is. 15s would be excessive for any one I've used
Alexei Arntzen , it’s the same here. Even 10 seconds would make it piping hot. 15 seconds would probably burn it. On 30% power, 15 sec might work.
And you must eat it IMMEDIATELY or it turns to rubber.
15 is a little long. 5 seconds at a time.
8 seconds is perfect. Donut sticks, honey buns and regular donuts

Here in the US the big thing is to eat the original glazed hot! I leave near a Krispy Kreme and they have a special light on their signs when they are frying the donuts. So when the light comes on lots of people rush get eat the warm donuts which are WAY WAY better than the cold donuts if you can believe that! Having them with a cup of milk this is a local tradition in many places! If you take your Krispy Kreme donuts home you can still warm one up in the microwave (5-15 seconds depending on microwave strength {don't over cook}). Would be fun to see perhaps a short take of you and grandma trying a "warm" (or warmed up) original glazed Krispy Kreme with a cup of milk like we do here in the US. :)

We have a Krispy Kreme right here in Daytona Beach. Best served warm. 😋 The one you didn't care for is a krueller and it's meant to be dipped in coffee.
