- On The Bat, riders are pulled backwards and launched through an unyielding corkscrew and a breathtaking loop. Riders travel at almost 75km/hour through the station, into a Cobra Roll which takes them directly into a climb up a second lift hill. Riders then experience a unique thrill as they travel backwards through the twists, turns and loops before returning to the station.

Dragon Fyre, The Bat and Wilde Beast are 3 of the best warm up coasters you can experience at Wonderland. Each gives you a taste of what to expect before you hit up Leviathan, Top Gun and Great Canadian Minebuster. Man, wood rides still have that charm.

@@christiandemutis9879 You are right. Not gonna lie. They are amazing. I was trying to make reference to what good warm up coasters you'd want to hit before experiencing the kings of coasters. I will not deny Yukon and Behemoth up there with Leviathan. They are the 3 Kings of coasters right now.
I wish I saw something like this before my friends had me on the minebuster as my first coaster ever. That was scary.
That fact I went in dragon fire and Wilde beast cuz my sis forced me to (I hated it 😔)
Top gun? Really? The only thing I ever get from that ride is whiplash. The Bat is the best :D

Pretty smooth ride and great track color. Back is the best for this ride.

Rode twice in the middle, thought it was relatively smooth. Rode 1 time in the back and got my head knocked around the backwards corkscrew. I still like it, just won't sit in the back again :)
I got a migraine from this ride, but it is very fun and cool. :p
The only boomerang I know that gets a 2 hour long line.
Well it depends on what day ur going, weekday summer maybe 30 minutes depending on weather also. Weekend summer around 2-3 hours.

I remember my friend and I got put in the front... nobody wanted it.. couldn't figure out why.
Then we got to the 2nd ramp preparing to go backwards and I knew why nobody wanted it LOL one of the best rides of my life.
This was the 90s it was smooth, or I was young and didn't care about being thrown around.
I loved the front car. As much as the back has a more exciting experience thanks to physics, I just loved the visuals of no cars in front of me

I remember when this was the coolest roller coaster in the whole park
I remember avoiding it for the first couple of years because the lines were so insanely long. When I finally rode it, I was nonplussed.
The Bat is pretty awesome, especially if you’re sitting right at the back 👍😁

this one broke my back, for the whole entire ride my back just hurt.
This was the first roller coaster I went on my whole life.
I was freaking out, but I ended up having a blast!
I personally had a lot of headbanging, but other than that I must say that it's one of my favorites!
Curious how tall are you because headbanging could be influenced by height

I had a harness come unlocked on me on this ride about 2007, I had to hold it closed the whole ride. Those were the days

Yeah I just got my season pass and then just a few days ago I got hit with covid ughh. It has been like over 10 years since I have been at this park.

i was about to say i never had the guts to go on this thing, but right when it got to the too before the first time that it dropped i thought, this feels familiar. then when it looped backwards i realized i probably went on it once, hated it and never went on again. or maybe im just convincing myself that i went on it?? idk is it normal to forget if you went on a ride before or not or am i just like really good at imagining how rides feel before i even go on them????

This video doesn’t do the ride justice. You really feel the G force on this one. Especially if you sit in the back seat.

When I went backwards I actually passed out- I remember the first loop and that was it. Before i passed out- I also remember throwing up- Lets just say that was a bad day.
I remember back in the day throwing up on Top Gun.
I went here today for my grad trip and the line was only like 10 minutes
The bat line is like one hour but all worth it and for the big three.

If your scared and you don’t like big rides I recommend the front or middle. Because the only scary part is the first drop and if your at the front then it won’t take as much time falling down then the back. IF YOU DONT CAre Just go to the back. It’s more exciting..
I went on this ride today and man was it fun men and some other kid were like lettsssss gooooo and it was a great experience it aint that bad highly recommended

Is this a smooth boomerang or could it use the same restraints found on the Flying Cobras at Carowinds or Sidewinder at Hersheypark?
It's relatively smooth, but new restraints would be nice.
Sidewinder is the best cause it has magnetic brakes and glides to a stop instead of repeatedly slamming like other boomerangs
needmorecoasters It only slammed to a stop on this POV because the trains were empty, usually the brakes are very smooth when there is enough weight on the trains!

Best ride in the park
I got so sick. I was dizzy had a headache and I threw up a lot. But tbh, thinking back on it, if I didn’t get sick I would have had fun. So if you get motion sick easily I definitely don’t recommend it. But overall it’s still fun.

Being 6"4 this ride hurt me quite a bit, but still a good ride
The height of the drop depends on where you sit.
Front: Lower than Dragon Fyre drop
Back: Near the top of Wonder Mountain
Fun fact: if you don't black out on this coaster, you can handle extreme g forces as the bat is 5 g forces
almost nobody blacks out on it, you have to endure 5 Gs for over two minutes for it to have an effect. (for most people)
the 5g forces probably only last for a second though. it’s sustained g forces that are more likely to make you to grey/black out

I Rode That Ride, years ago, in the 1st Summer, I Ended in Sum, bruised up, once Was a Bad enough.
I remember seeing people on this ride stuck upside down when the blackout happened.
after going there 4 times, i finally went when it wasn't broken down, im my 40's.

i went on this last year for wonderjam and i hit my head 4 times and i had THE WORST HEADACHE EVER like im not kidding it was before lunch but during the concert i didnt enjoy the music, and skillet, my favourite band, was there and i still wanted to go home
And it's a rough ride you will possibly get a headache If you ride it more than 3 times or 2 times
