Since it’s absolutely impossible for me to go above a 4-figure watch, I got the Omiwatari 3 weeks ago and it’s wonderful! Still dreaming of a ALS of course…😅
My watch obsession has allowed me to practice a sense of gratitude. Yes I love the high end watches but I am training myself to be thankful when I pick up my own. This has spilled over into other areas of life and allowed me to look at "the next" thing as a step taken from appreciation of what it may bring rather than a must have. But I do like that little moser tank tbh
Awesome list… but in that Patek, was it me or did the closeups show spots or bumps on the center red hand? I took a screenshot to zoom in and it seems strange…
I just want to say your audio mixing is superb. Levels feel leveled haha and never fluctuate , the music is clear and fully audible but the voices sit clean and clear over it without harshness or mind numbing bass pressure. Idk if you put effort into that or if its just serendipity that its so good but good job either way.
I can hardly wait for mine to arrive hopefully around the end of this year. This will be the only watch in my collection to get a pass for not having a date feature.
Because of Watchfinder channel I've discovered D.Dornblüth & Sohn (watching the now famous "best kept secret..." video or so). After considering for a long time what watch to acquire to celebrate my 50th birthday, I've decided for a D.D&S 99.1 black dial. Ordered it on Feb, 2022 and in June 2023 I'll be going from Brazil to Kalbe (Germany) to pick it up in person with my wife and meet the crew. For what I've been told, it will be the first DD&S sold to Brazil. Can't be more excited. 🙂
I recently purchased my grail, the GS soko frost. Once I've built up more cash for another purchase, it'll likely be the Longines Master Moonphase. I've had my heart set on it for quite some time.
I have one 😁, along with well several others like most of us ...I wear it rather a lot considering I'm luck enough to choose from some far more expensive watches, it's beautiful and definitely one I'll never sell.. I hope you will enjoy yours incredible value for money , check out Teddy Baldasars visit to the Longine Headquarters if you haven't seen it already, that will most likely hurry your finger to trigger.. Regards.
WOW For the A. Lange & Söhne 1815 but I'll never afford one. I want to get my hands on a Chronoswiss Opus particularly the orange/blue version CH-7543.1S-BLOR of which there are 50 pcs. Also applause for the Bel Canto because it's affordable and super cool.
Every single watch mentioned is fantastic. If money wasn’t an issue it would be the ALS tourbillon and the JLC they are masterpieces Realistically I think the dornbluth for me. I love how they are made and the watches are stunning at a price I can afford
Hello, advice please, I have saved and just purchased the a G.S. (quartz) , this amount of £ on a watch is a lot. Beautiful watch, retro shape, refined design, love. The champagne dial is not as golden as I hoped (I was not able to veiw befor ordering ) do I keep or return. Thanks
These are all such great watches but my issue with all of them is that they are dress pieces (Apart from the Lange odysseus; which is absolutely a grail watch for me). I really can't wear a dress watch and like 90% of the watch bands that I've tried are just uncomfortable on my wrist for longer than 3-4 hours. If any of these came on a bracelet I would buy them in a heartbeat (given the money of course). Especially the JLC or the Grand Seiko. On my wrist right now is my Blancpain Leman Dual timer; love this thing.
The speedmaster is perfect 🥰 but very expensive. . The gs is attainable and perfect 🥰. If I had the money I would buy them all. Great selection. Grand seiko is the answer. It's the best watch period. Just look at a watch. Your mind and heart will start talking. I can't wait for the decision you make.
An amazing list. Thanks for sharing it. From the ten, the JLC and Grand Seiko top my wish list. Watching that second hand sweep of the SBGY007 is mesmerizing! Never thought I would be so enthralled by a spring drive. And, the JLC ... nothing else needs to be stated.
Thanks for this video ! I can not put my CW C1 Bel Canto out of my wrist since 4 weeks now! But I would for the JLC and the D. Dornbluth (I did not know this brand and watch: thanks for sharing!!!)
My first watch was a CW moonglow, back when the original director was still in charge and the CW name was on the dial. At the time I thought the brand was mediocre and only purchased because 5-10% of purchase price would go toward a marine biology charity. Fast forward almost 4 years, and getting into more watches, CW has definitely opened my eyes with their quality in such a short time. I want another timepiece that's above 1,000 so either CW, tudor or a breitling. What do you guys think?
A Grand Seiko would be my dream watch. Not so expensive as to leave me feeling guilty about buying it, and just beautiful. Trouble is there are so many wonderful watches in the GS collection, I wouldn't be able to decide. If money was truly no object, a Lange to accompany it, please.
The Platinum Datograph up down is a watch I dream of owning. I love it so much and yet I likely will never own it. Having said that I am lucky enough to own a lot of watches that I love already.
If I had the money (and the connections), I'd go for the Odysseus - the great beast of this collection, and the one I keep sighing over whenever I see it. Among the actually affordable, I'd be torn between the Bel Canto (I did try to get one when it first came out, but missed the boat by a hair) and the GS Omniwatari. Probably go with the Bel Canto, given that I have a pale blue GS already ... but I suppose I could sell the latter ... what I really need is a winning lottery ticket.
If you could set the ding alarm to sound on a specified time then that would be way cooler. I do love this watch though. It’s very “ice creamy” like one of the others on the list. It just really is a beautiful complicated and still basic watch.
Grand Seiko seems like their apology for the quartz crisis. Seems my local high end used watch dealer has plenty of these available compared to other brands on my last check. Buyers remorse? Quirky quartz hybrid? To much on the conserviatve side of design? I'll give it a couple more years to see how it shakes out in the aftermarket.
No-one will notice a GS on your wrist, it is too subtle and retro. Nothing quirky about a spring drive, but a lot have a hi-beat version if you prefer. I would put it up there with a 6 cylinder Subaru in appeal. A watch you buy for yourself, not for others to admire.
PRX Ice blue, this watch blows away my speedy, Tudor bb gmt, rolex milgauss and oris aquis. Tissot is killing it with the ice blue dial, Idk it's magical to me.
My just barely attainable dream watch would be the Bregeut Traditional. I'm saving for it, but I'm skeptical I'll actually pull the trigger when the time comes. That sum of money is a solid start to the down payment of a second house, lol. Either way, the money will be destined for SOMETHING important! I already have the Bel Canto on order (with black dial). Should be seeing it the end of this year!
Interesting list! rather like the Kudoke designs as well, I have no interest in a rolex, always wanted a JLC & love the Odysseus .. but I’ll never have money to own either one.....but I’m huge Grand seiko fan so it’s the “night birch” for me...

Grand Seiko 4 Seasons "Shunbun" (Fall) on a brown leather strap. Possibly my endgame watch. After having the Omega AT Worldtimer, Rolex Milgauss Z-Blue, and the Tudor BB 58 Blue.
If there was a Jeremy Clarkson style cool wall for watches instead of cars, every watch in this video would make the cool side. Would probably pick the Odysseus from this video, it’s certainly not ugly. If I was going so spend money I can afford (pre owned) but not justify it would be on a Breguet’s Classique reference 5967 in rose gold
And again the 1815 Tourbillon from L&S ! I remember your video about (..."but this, boys and girls"...). If I would be a billionaire, I would offer you this watch because I know that you are dreaming about at least one time a week ;) Cheers !
Grand Seiko for me as it seems to be the best bang for the buck. Although, I'm torn over the Spring Drive and the High Beat. Then I'm torn over the dials. Ugh! This obsession 😂
That Kudoke is absolutely not to my taste but it's really beautiful in its own way. I understand why someone would love that. For videos like this though id really love if you did a full frontal straight on shot of each watch just to see the whole dial and colours straight on.
"I like gold watches; does that make me old now?" lol. I've always preferred gold watches and I like rose gold, as well. Maybe I've always been an old soul.
This list was a banger. Appreciate it. U sold me bel canto on your first video of it out of many, kindly do claim your incentive from Christopher Ward for that. Another one, would be GS spring drive in the near future. And that speedmaster with burgundy bezel sits on the grail Watch category for me. Love it.
I've got a few...but I don't want them "so bad", because none of them are perfect. And those that are, are outside my price range and always will be. At the present time, however, I've got my eye set on a Casio GW-M5610U. Yep, the basic radio square G. If there was some prettier one, like with embellished dial and/or colourful furniture AND positive display (looking at you, Blue Paisley), I wouldn't wait one moment. Since there isn't, I'm only waiting till April.
I'm a simple guy. I want a Speedmaster Professional, a Breitling Navitimer, a Tissot Telemetre 1938, a Longines Legend Diver in bronze, a Tudor Pelagos and a simple Frederique Constant with white guilloche. That and my current set of cheap Seikos, Orients, Vostoks and Bulovas =)
Okay, so it's just a "here is my top 10 xxx" but this is the best content I've seen in a long long time. Well done. Your standard is high but this is to me the best you've made so far. Thanks 😊
Well, it took me quite by surprise but I recently tried the Bvlgari Octo finissimo and I need one asap! Something about it makes it hard to live without 🤔
I've never seen one on the wrist and it costs more than every house I've owned(combined) but it's beautiful engineered and a real stunner. The Vianney Halter Deep Space Resonance Tourbillon.

5:49 I consider this Lange's best dial yet. Simply breathtaking... it looks like a bronze sculpture, not a mechanical part.
👍1:48 The Christopher Ward Bel Canto makes me smile when it sounds.
Going to the Dornbluth workshop in Germany in June to compile my own watch. They pre-warned me that it will take up to 14 months now to get one made.
The Christopher Ward for me, as I really feel like supporting brands doing something interesting and original around that price point.
I got a cw when i graduated highschool in 2019, i love it and i still wear it almost every day
I can hardly wait for mine to arrive hopefully around the end of this year. This will be the only watch in my collection to get a pass for not having a date feature.
I just hate that the brand is Christopher Ward when Christopher Ward isn't even a part of the company.
I've just acquired a D.D&S, but, in this list, CW would be my next pick.
@@FuquaRomeo He was an original founding member. Do you expect them to change their name every time someone leaves or joins the company?
That Grand Seiko is a masterpiece of Japanese craftsmanship.

The Lange at 6mins is breathtaking 🔥😵💫

How about the omega ck859? Just a thought.
The A Lange Sohne Odysseus is beautiful - and I know nothing of Dornblueth, very interesting. Thank you.

Definitely the GS. To be precise the spring drive snowflake. I'm just worried it will not be available by the time I have enough $ to get it.
