I've been smitten by that Credor for a long time now. The dial finish, the white is almost ethereal, beyond this world. The color of blue chosen for the indices and hands sets off the white beautifully, and the simplicity of the indices, altogether there is a Zen feeling looking at this watch. True artisans are responsible for this beauty! The A. Lange, that dial would be beautiful if it did not have the tourbillion. It's a striking look, particularly in rose or red gold. And the AP, well, I found it surprisingly appealing, something I'd really consider if I had the necessary level of disposable income.
The Citizen calibre 0100. Even though it is a quartz it is as far removed from a regular quartz as the Space Shuttle is from a paper plane. Eco drive powered with an accuracy of +- 1 second /YEAR without updating from satellite or wifi signals. The effort that went into the design of the oscillator crystal is staggering.
I honestly keep coming back to the Longines Legend Diver for some reason. I think it is just stunning. Also the JLC Polaris. I know they are drastically different, but they are gorgeous to look at.
I finally bought the blue legend diver just last week- and it instantly jumped to the top of my watchdrobe. It’s so much better in person than I expected

This is a great list and I enjoyed every watch you covered! The one I can’t get out of my head is Breguet Classique Ultra Thin in 18k Gold, I love the clean elegant lines! Thanks for the great post!
I love the Bel Canto but is there a version without the chime? I wear headphones most of the time and imagine it would be simple to produce this version - like a date or no date Sbu.

Zenith A384 El Primero. It is such a cool and distinctive watch nowadays. I cannot talk to people about it because most of them don't know its rich history. But I enjoy every second it is on my wrist and just appreciate they revived it.

2 pieces are quite obsessing me recently. One is the Longines GMT with green bezel and gold hands and markers (SPIRIT ZULU TIME), and the other one is the newest IWC Ingenieur 40mm with the petrol blue dial... Oh, and the Vacheron 222 (even tho it may be too small for me with my 19,5c, wrist)... I LOVE those!

Met the designer of the Bel Canto when I visited CW on business (they're doing a custom watch for my mob) and I proceeded to gush about it. My host says "yeah, he gets that a lot"
I agree with you , some more vintage models should have been launched along with a smaller pro plof but I presume the pro plof will be a ongoing series with newer variations coming in , I might definitely pick one up after trying it on depending on the variability , omega should give the rubber strap as a free add on with the mesh strap in a single box
Keep going back to the Grand Seiko SBGH271 "Rikka". Tried it on and its been the most difficult time trying to convince myself that spending 6k is a good use of money when there are other things better spent
The Bel Canto is upthere, so much so that I'll probably place an order (April 2024 delivery😅), but the watch on my list for this year is the Cartier de Santos. I will be buying it later this year.
I was never into dive watches, but I invested in an Oris. I then started looking at the Omega 300M. I literally. Could not. Stop. Thinking about it. Ever. Not even for a second. I ended up impulsively investing in one and I cannot believe how high quality the watch is- it’s surpassed my expectations. Even trying one on (the right one) I feel in love. I went into a boutique 2 weeks ago and now I have the Aqua Terra small seconds on my mind quite often. It’s all certainly taken my mind off the frankly unobtainable Greubel Forseys. Such a dangerous game watch collecting 😅🤣
@@brianruggles7620 oh the grey dial is sublime; it’s so subtly refined! I ended up going for the Sedna rose gold stainless steel blue dial on a rubber strap. Blue seems to be my colour!
You have the Christopher Ward Bel Canto on your mind. I have the Christopher Ward 12 on mine. The case and integrated bracelet are a beautiful and fluid combination. The dial looks amazing. As in a work of art that could be a crystal that I would sell a kidney to own. The kidney, I expect, will be gone before the end of the year, and I will have a watch to wear on the 12th day of he 12th month.
The new tudor without the rotating bezel and with the jubilee bracelet. I love how it looks but just can't decide if it's sport or dress or something else.
On my mind: Omega Speedmaster Apollo 8 ceramic, Breguet Tradition (any of them), Grand Seiko Lake Suwa, and two from your own list: Chris Ward Bel Canto and the Code 1159.
Would absolutely love a JLC Reverso even a basic one, although in mechanical wound guise. There’s just something about that conjures images of simpler times for me. Dream I would like to realize one day very much.
On the hunt for a GMT watch I am constantly drawn back to the VC Overseas dual-time Everest. Wildly out of my price range but firmly fixed in my desire.
As this video started, I thought of the Credor. Then you showed the Credor. The back of the watch... the hand painted dial, the sweep of the seconds. I cannot....I just cannot
Since I can't afford three of the five Vacheron-Constantin 56, JLC Master Control Date, Stowa Pilot Bronze Vintage 36, Sinn 104, and Hentschel H1 Chronometer Automatic.
GS T0 Constant-force Tourbillon. That Credor is a mystery though. I think most people (non-watch people) would think it cost £50. I don't wear nice watches to show off and I'm happy to fly under the radar... but there's a limit.
For me it’s the Omega Speedmaster Apollo 17 40th anniversary, with the ‘nickel’ dial showing the god Apollo. I think I absolutely love it and it’s a conversation piece, but there’s other days I wonder if such a divisive watch is something I want to pull off in favour of a more classical speedy.
I'm constantly thinking about the Pontos Day Date with the blue face and black alligator strap and also the U-Boat Darkmoon in Cardinal Red - both very reasonably priced. I need them both in my life so badly 😍
2 were on my mind and are now on my wrist: the CW Bel Canto and the Tudor BB54. A watch in my mind but something I can not decipher prevent me from buying it: the Christopher Ward Twelve. Another one in my mind which I don't want to get on the grey market, waiting for a potential next draw: the MB&F Mad edition
I’m getting anxious to receive my Bel Canto. It’s promised to be delivered about September. It is simple and yet complicated. It isn’t minute repeater but I call it hour repeater.
The Chrono Chime from Omega is one I think about. Omega puts out a ton of watches and then every once in awhile they'll toss out something like that or the Tourbillion Deville model and you're like oh yeah that's right they can really crank out some crazy high-horology stuff when they want too. That A.Lange & Sohne is amazing!!! The detailing on it is crazy.
I have the green CW Bel Canto. It is a fun, beautiful piece. The watch I can't get out of my head is The Voutilainen Vignt-8. The classic, yet contemporary design. A movement to make an engineer weep. Finishing that has no equal. I named my dog Kari (Voutilainen). It's that bad.
Here are my top 5. 1- Argon Spaceone _ will they figure out their IP issue? 2- Bremont H1 Audrey 3- Strehler Sirna 4- Kudoke 3 5- Calasys by Vincent Calabrese _ when will we see a commercial model?
It's funny because the code 1159 is the only Audemars piguet watch that appeals to me.. I have held the purple version In the Flesh and it absolutely appeals to me.
Oris Altimeter. It's a tool watch that isn't a dive watch. Imagine sitting sitting in First Class, the pilot has extinguished the seat belt light. You casually look at your wrist and then comment to the supermodel who just happened to be assigned the seat next to you, "I see they have the cabin pressurized to 7000 feet." I didn't know that these existed before the new model came out and by then it was too late to get one new with the stainless steel bracelet. I want one, and I'll probably get one as soon as I can convince myself to drop six thousand dollars on a watch encased in a fancy charcoal briquette.
For me the Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921 36.5mm constantly haunts me. But not at that price. Benzinger's GAP 1 oh yeah, I could but should I?
I don’t know when the first time you showed your face was…but this is the first time I see it😦 feels like a huge unmasking, now that iconic voice has a face!!
I can only nod and agree with every word you said. That Bel Canto is a mechanically beautiful complication that is priced within reach.

As I have been looking at Micro-brands recently, I find myself thinking about the Astor & Banks Fortitude
The SLGA019. I’ve wanted a GS for years but none have really done it for me. But this one is it. It’s either this or a finissimo in blue.
Because of you, I can’t get that code 11.59 out of my mind. Wow, what a fantastic watch.
Mine are as follows:
CW Bel Canto
Oris Aquis Cherry
Nomos Orion
Hamilton Field Khaki
Glashütte Origional PanoMatic Lunar
I’m getting anxious to receive my Bel Canto. It’s promised to be delivered about September. It is simple and yet complicated. It isn’t minute repeater but I call it hour repeater.
Jaeger-Lecoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds and the Grand Seiko White Birch (SLGH005G).
I can’t stop thinking about the omega Aqua terra 220.10.38.20.02.001 38m with the silver dial. I want it badly and I must have it!
H Moser Venturer Vantablack dial concept with black hands 🔥 I can’t help but be drawn into the black
Hi Andrew can I just say that I do miss the watchfinder background music 😅
When I hear Royal Oak, I think it sounds like a housing subdivision. Whistling Pines, Aspen Ridge, Royal Oak...
Here are my top 5.
1- Argon Spaceone _ will they figure out their IP issue?
2- Bremont H1 Audrey
3- Strehler Sirna
4- Kudoke 3
5- Calasys by Vincent Calabrese _ when will we see a commercial model?
I kind of like the 1159, but why is it so thick?
the credor is my dream watch , its hard to explain why , but you just did
I think about the Seiko Ginza everyday. Willing to pay upto 1k dollars for a pre-owned piece. Sadly not available for less than 1200 dollars anywhere.
A Lange and Sohne Datograph Perpetual
I have that GS. It will be the watch that gets passed down to my nephew. It is a timeless watch and I can’t get it out of my mind either.
It's funny because the code 1159 is the only Audemars piguet watch that appeals to me.. I have held the purple version In the Flesh and it absolutely appeals to me.
You’re not alone. It’s a watch that’ll be appreciated the more you get to know it. Maybe wearing it for 11 - 12 hrs
Vianney halter deep space tourbillon. Triple axis tourbillon. It's so beautiful.
Imo that Lange is the best looking watch of the last 20 years
Great work Andrew! The Odysseus haunts my dreams.
The Rado Captain Cook for me but I have no idea why! I’ve constantly thought of owning one.
I can’t get out of my head the Oris Propilot and the Pointer Date, the new Tissot Sideral, the IWC Spitfire and the Hamilton Khaki Titanium
Ok, that credor is just the emperor’s new clothes
Waiting on the Bel Canto on titanium purple, November delivery.
I don’t know when the first time you showed your face was…but this is the first time I see it😦 feels like a huge unmasking, now that iconic voice has a face!!
The Credor is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.!!!
As close to "Perfect" as anyone can get.
Bel Canto is definitely worth of this label
