Appreciate your honest, direct commentary. Thanks for that.
Practical advice. Straight to the point. Lots of good pointers. Thank you!
I just recently started turning on “last ride” every ride and it’s made a significant difference. You’re absolutely correct about them trying to give you a ride that takes you back out of the surge zone without you realizing you were ever in one.
I am glad I was helpful bro !
I'll be doing uber soon. I just wanted to know how does this work? what is last ride?
@@sageof7627Since nobody answered you, last ride is when you signal you want to end your shift or take a break after the ride you're currently assigned.
It prevents you from getting any more offers untill you go back online.
When you go back online, you get flooded with offers in the area that you can pick and choose from.
I don't see a Last Ride button/option, where do I find it please?
Sometimes the app does let you do too many of those when you press the coffee cup button. The fix for that during a trip pull up to scroll down like you're going to log off and hit the red stop button with a pic of a hand "no new stop requests". This will disable new stops from appearing but will log you off when your ride is completed. I do this when I'm getting low on fuel or I end up in an undesirable neighborhood
I love your videos!! I hope you do more! I’ve learned so much from you - Thanks!!! 😇
Thanks a lot !
Perfect video for Uber drivers Thank you.
I drive Uber, and you remind me a lot of me.
Same exact thought process when driving Uber....You have a new subscriber
hell yeah bro ! too bad uber is not what it used to be : ( i dont drive anymore but i hope you guys doing well out there !
I do believe you can make that money but 12 hour shifts are hard on the body, unless you are young and healthy
yes! health should always come first
You can always break the day up into 2 shifts of 6hrs.
Take 15 minutes breaks and walk. Every hr to two.
I walk 2 every 4 hrs
Take a few minutes out of the car every 2 hours, walk around stretch move your arms and upperbody. Monitor your fluid intake stick to cool filtered water taking a comfort break every 4 hours. After your comfort break, check your vehicle tyres, lights and cleanliness. Clean rear carpets and windows of needed. Think about your food and nutrition eating lighter meals to avoid fullness and feeling drowsy. Get plenty of fresh air and excercise when you’re not driving with beach walks, yoga, strength training and socialising with friends and family.
Good video. Do you mainly do airport rides or just the streets?
streets mainly
Good comments, good advice
Loved the shit talking man that’s why I hit the like bottom the Uber info was bonus 😂❤

Nice info Thanks!!!!
Uber and Lyft has water down the Rideshare industry with low fares and BS riders.
So stick with what works for you in your area.
Because when you are good at what you do. No one can take that from you. Drive Smart!!!!
I’m pretty sure my last customer was a Dominican drug trafficker. He also forced me into his restaurant to drink alcohol. I ran out the back door. Called Uber the next day because they don’t have the option to call after 8pm in my area. When I called them and explained the stressful and negative experience alls they offered was to block him so I don’t get him again. NO ONE should have to deal with him ever! Can’t believe they let these kinds of riders on the platform.
bro this guy is amazing 😂
Some things to point out…at least here in Phoenix. Driving for Lyft seems to pay better, trip overview is more decipherable, longer time to decide if you want a trip, less harsh rating system, less rider assistance trips, more bonus opportunities and, in general, just a less stressful experience. Having said that, it’s more difficult to stay constantly busy on Lyft with rides back to back, likely, due to more drivers figuring out that Lyft is a better overall experience than Uber. I stay on Lyft as long as I can stay busy and only default to Uber, if the ride requests dry up.
Thank you for your video im in chicago areas i was just wondering what are you doing now
Hey man ! I moved to north carolina and i quit uber long time ago its not worth it like before
great video 10/10 fr
Thanks !
I'm new & Uber doesn't show the payout nore the address on my end is that new? I see you have payout prices on yours? Help me maybe I'm missing something.
I live in Chicago I think in every market is different but as far as I know in most places they show prices and destinations
very interesting--thanks!
Let us know what you got into instead of Uber full time. Well made video, concise and to the point.
Thank you !
I drive in Northside Chicago to manage my classes times but right now Uber has significantly reduced the price of rides. Can you explain this change ?
I guess its just too many drivers and not so much custumers I am not really sure I stopped driving 6 months ago
Have you checked the new mastery heating map that Uber introduced a month ago in some markets? It's a disaster 😢😢. My pay for after this new heating map (surge prices map) is only $0.38 per mile.
i dont think i have it here
Can you give some advice on where you got your seat cover set ??
' VIEWPETS Bench Car Seat Cover ' from amazon this is the one I have
Wish you prosperity and nothing but good luck with whatever you decide to do brother. 🤙
Thank you bro !
Good info
Im thinking to start in toronto, Scarborough. Can beginner's make 4-5k bro ?
Hi ,
My name is Alex. Generally, I’d like to know if you can recommend a few deliveries apps where allow me to work and sign up with an LLC and using EIN number? Registering or sign up with an LLC /, I’m just simply wondering if are there other ways I can work in the GIG industry using my own LLC.
I would be really appreciate and I’m hoping to see if you could shed some light or have thought on mind or name a few of them.
Thank you.
I am sorry man i wish i could help but Ive never done delivery apps and i am not familiar with the LLC stuff
My market doesn’t have upfront pay info. I still have the per mile and per minute rate stuff. Makes it hard when don’t even know where the trip is going.
Upfront fares are bs. We can see the destination but the rate is lower a lot of times.
In my city those fares hardly ever show up, it's low low fare here in this city.
When you factor gas, tolls and frequent car maintenance, how much are you really making??
About 25-30 cents on the dollar. Pretty grim reality.
I live in Arizona and I’ve only done Uber Eats. I have made hundreds in Flagstaff and the Phoenix/Metro Valley. I have never done Uber rideshare but I think that I should make a lot because it’s so busy for food deliveries, which gives me a lot of hope for rideshare business.
yes u have to try it for yourself otherwise you will not know cuz a lot of people say different things about how much u can earn
Can you figure cities out without visiting them? For example, how would you approach Los Angeles? When looking at it on a map, how would you plan your day and where would an ideal center point be to base yourself?
I cant tell for a city I havent been . You really have to work for a month or two to get familiar with the market and be able to figure out some sort of system and to know where to go and what to do
Thank you. So it's all trial and error. But there are known hot spots.
@@ShelterDogs Yes pretty much
Something else I'd like to add is that very few of us can accept based on $1 dollar per minute. We're lucky if it's even $1 dollar per mile, nevermind minutes. I wonder if Chicago is the best market? Here in CA most offers are less than $1 per mile. Never is it that high per minute.
Don’t accept ride lower than 10 15mins or more If you bring someone to the airport you don’t have to wait in the queue
I told people not no eat in my car in a polite way, they opened a bag of chips and throw it in my all over my new car. 😂 Nothing is worth more than it's actual value.
people are trash 😆
Yup, did Uber for a month in my car that I love dearly because I worked hard for it! The customers push their shoes all over everywhere, stain the seats, spill stuff, leave trash. It’s INSANE how disrespectful people are.
@@mostdopecaptain3350 I don't. I have a 5 Star rating with Uber, and I probably error on tipping too high but then I don't use Uber much.
sooooo true about chicago
I just started doing uber and cant even see the location nor the amount. Any way i can see them? I know diamonds can.
I know that some markets you cant see the fare upfront
Great channel, I do most of the same things.
what kind of seat cover you recommand?
the one that I have is " VIEWPETS Bench Car Seat Cover" from amazon
@@maximumstrength1313 Thanks. Reviews says: "it smells bad" is that true?
To the creator. Hello, I find this video very informative and on point with reality. You are clearly a smart person and also can explain things clearly, and without beating around the bush. If I had to neat pick, in the beginning of the video should try to speak a little slower or maybe slow down the playback speed. I founded hard to keep up with the information just listening to it once. Maybe I’m slow, but those are my two cents. Also, sometimes, if you know the area you are working in is worth to look at the distance to make a fast accurate calculation because traffic congestion or accidents can and will change the time it will take. Great video nonetheless! Regards
Thank you ! I try to talk fast and more compressed cuz otherwise people lose interest very quickly :D
My friend you smart honest
Hello Brother any information about uber in Boston please I want to move there and thank you
i dont know about boston
you are legend 😆
Thanks for the video. May I know How much can you save after all deductions if you make $2000 per week?
This was almost a year ago . I dont think u can make that much anymore
@@maximumstrength1313 why? Are they paying lesser than before?
@@user-pt2jb6yh7u thats a good question :D
Concrete advice for all new to the apps. 👍
No nonsense! thats good. I see people going to the store to buy water and sodas. lol
The tips thing is true.
Its hard and very slow here in LA.Too many drivers and UBER keep on accepting new drivers everyday.
Oh dude I think driving a bus is becoming better than driving for Uber.. I’m getting my CDL soon
My area isn’t busy enough to even make that much
Do you live in Chicago?
not anymore
In What city you working ?
Chicago
My passengers tip me with rolled joints...
Im waiting for your new challanges…
I’m in the Upstate NY area. No way can I make $1 per minute. Max here is $30 per hour. Really a shame.
New drivers don't have a chance to see ride details…all we chance is to accept requests…
If you are in Montreal, you would do between 10 and 20 cad per hour, not worth it.
Ever since I made this video everything went downhill and its pretty bad here too nothing compare to what it used to be :D
What’s your car model?
toyota camry 2018
@@maximumstrength1313I was thinking of buying a Corolla for Uber do you think it’s possible it will net me less money. Or is there no difference to Uber between Camry and Corolla?
@@timofeidruzhinin I dont think it will make huge difference they are both very good and reliable take the one that you like more or you can find a better deal on
Whered all the vids go?
which videos ?
What's the minimum pay you accept?
At this time now which is very different from what it was when i made this video I accept anything from 0.50$/min and up its just very hard to find anything better there is not a single surge these days and uber takes most of the fare
@@maximumstrength1313 Thank you bro, do you apply the same rule to Lyft as well?
yes pretty much @@user-ky8vx7zw2o
its been 7 months. when is the next video?
soon :D
I am from Brazil, and i gotta care about miles, cause here the car's price and the gas's price is different. haha
This is a very different reality than an Uber here in Brazil, I currently work as an Uber driver and in a (20 mi) we earn approximately $5.01. It's getting harder and harder around here, I hope you understand, my English is not very good 🤣
yes i understand , thats so bad , here is getting worse too uber takes a big cut of the fare
I need more videos bro 😂
i will try to upload this weekend
@@maximumstrength1313 looking forward to it 👌🏻
I dont take rides that pay less than $1 per mile
Ok so if a ride is going 30 down the road paying 26 and it takes 30 minutes to do ir not taking it ? You’re a fool like he said go do something else
Of course, he would take it. As a "general" rule that's his standard

i used to uber in chicago but not anymore

Interesting that Chiraq has money. Good luck on your new journey whatever you moved to away from doing gig.
Thank you !
Lol i was gonna log off cause this doesn't apply to me I live in a boonies lol
No longer possible. Uber is just a battle royale on the streets now which is a public safety concern.
The most I made in a single day doing Uber was like $287
Lol i’ve made more in a day driving Uber Eats.
How many hours
Lmao this guy is funny
Yea if you like making $8/hour and pay for your gas and car maintenance 👍
2:12
dollar per minute… what’s the math behind it?
you devide the pay for the ride by the amount of minutes it will take you to complete. but now its very slow I dont think you can find rides that pay dollar per min
@@maximumstrength1313 gotchu. preciate it
LMFAOOOO tb i dont care 😭😭😭😭😭 you are hilarious
He says it’s easy to make $100K, which I would disagree. I’ve been driving for 9 years and topped out at about $80K. You can make $100K if you’re willing to drive 50-80 hrs a week, which wouldn’t leave you any life. Not to mention, you’ll get burnt out on it….and your car maintenance costs will start to eat you alive. Easy no…possible yes.
No you won't make $2000 after 6 months. Uber have reduced the prices significantly.
Show your numbers of making $2K a week this summer or else don't be a clickbaiter.
you can see that I average around $40/hr man. I will easily hit it if I put the hours. Think whatever you want 2k a week is not hard at all if you work 50-60 hrs a week
@maximumstrength7130 I can average $40-60 an hour SOMETIMES. But it doesn't mean you can make $2K a week just by working longer hours. Have friends that work in the highest paying markets and they don't make that much. $1500-$1600 a week yes it it's doable if you work 60-70 hours on UberX.
On UberBlack yes $2K is doable.
@maximumstrength7130 what market are you in?
@@J__7777 Chicago
It’s real I make 350 a day 7days a week. It’s hard but it’s real. Definitely have to 😴 and eat right and stretch in between rides.
Back cover needed for girls who wear short skirts and no underwear. I am tired of finding their residue on my leather seats.
😁😁
hahaha
4.2, this guy should be in jail 😂😂
Ratings are not accurate. I got one stared three times for not telling drivers how much I pay in rent or how much salary I made. I know other women who politely declined being asked out or sexually harassed, one star.
show me don’t tell me let’s see you’re 100 grand for this year a dollar a minute, nothing less never nothing less than a dollar a minute but you have to be in a good market where you don’t. I have oversaturation of Cars
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk mt bom
Update the video on how to make a 1000 a week now😂
hahahah if i make another video will be " quit uber now " :D
100 k a year - are you nuts - STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE
I've made 112k a year actually, and my taxes were close to 0, cause everything is tax deductible, but i've spend like 10-12 k on gas oil and one set of tires.
In order to make 100k net income you have to be on 152.5k salary.. (California)
Depends on the city, like he said, but in LA if you work the amount he said: 8 to 10 hours at the times he said, I believe this to be true
Uner business model take it or leave it. This should not stay alive any more but people think they are making money..
They're stealing ALL our money. WTF? 50 cents a mile? Nothing but trash rides and I'm in Vegas busting my @$$ I'm done with this thug company.
not gonna lie man here right now is pretty bad too and it keeps getting worse, maybe i should take the video down cuz its not relevant anymore. Uber is pure trash
Nah dude you're onto nothing. Your biggest cost is fuel, that's miles. Lower cost of sales
I dont agree man. I rather spend a bit more on fuel but make more money for the amount of time. Also sitting in traffic burns fuel as well and the difference is very little. But you are free to do what works best for you I am just sharing my opinion
@@maximumstrength1313 Your opinion on fuel vs EV please? Thanks
I dont think EV is worth it @@Vimsern1
Can you do a video on how you calculate dollar per minute in more detail please
there is not really much to explain. I basically take whatever the ride pays and divide it by the number of minutes that will take to complete it. for example if ride pays 30$ and it takes you around 60 mins to complete that means u getting around 0.50$ per minute. Or you asking for something different ?
Sergio of the The Rideshare Guy would take this. That's $30/hour in his eyes. And he's in LA, a much more expensive city than Chicago. I still can't get over how you can take dollar per minute. Here in CA it's .50 cents minimum per minute. Or it needs to work out to be $30/hour. So a $5 dollar for 10 minutes would do.
very very soon, been 3 weeks!
I had some issues . Its coming ! 😁
is it coming very very soon? aka 3 more weeks? @@maximumstrength1313
