Hello from Melbourne, Australia. I enjoyed your video on the tools you use, so thank you for sharing ☺️. I began my micro-croch😊et journey about 8 months ago & am still learning!! Like yourself, I didn't want to try crochet starting off using normal size hooks and yarn so bought a cheaper set of micro hooks & used Gutterman Sulky 30 cotton thread with a 0.75mm hook. I'm a knitter & have been miniature knitting for about 15 years - I love knitting 😃! My first attempts were funny but I really enjoyed learning this new craft! I have just received the Tulip Etimo Rose 0.4mm & 0.5mm micro-crochet hooks for Christmas & what a difference 😮 - they are so much nicer to use than the cheaper ones!! I am now working on a granny square blanket for 1:12th scale doll house size using the Gutterman Sulky 30 & the 0.5mm hook. It's coming along & I am really enjoying myself! Thanks again for sharing & I will now be watching all your other videos❣️☺️
I have been crocheting for over a year now so. Have a decent start on regular crocheting. What type of pattern would you recommend to. Start with micro crocheting?
Thank you so much for this video!! I just started my crochet journey 3 months ago and I've been wanting to try microcrochet. This was super helpful!!! I especially appreciated the photos of the same pattern in different sizes with the needle & thread info.
Thank you so much❤

Metal thimbles are great too!
Oooh! I've not tried them as they seem even more uncomfortable/restrictive!
Embroidery floss is also weak
Oh yes, I didn't think about that!
