Hey Drew, I work for Rejuevantion Headquarters in Portland, OR. Thanks for using our Mission Hardware in Unlaquered Brass. You have a keen sense of design and your kitchen is coming along beautifully. These old homes are so important in pit history so stewards like you keeping the history alive is vital to their continued stories.❤❤❤❤
I’m in love with this hardware. How versatile to be able to keep it bright or let the patina develop. The new warm tone colors on trend right now coordinate so we’ll. Just stunning.
I had to go to the Rejuvenation website to check out the screws...correctly slot-head and not Phillips!! Just be sure to have all the slots aligned in the same direction- I like that their catalogue shows them horizontal.
Agree. It's more faithful to the period of the house too. The only thing that might be even better is to use both shapes. Put the square one in the middle, and wrap the others around in a pinwheel pattern. It was a common tile pattern used in 1920s Spanish Revival mansions.
Retired interior designer here who loves your design talent. I've been watching you since you first moved into your apartment. You did a magnificent job on it. I think your kitchen deserves the square floor tiles. I look forward to all of your up coming videos. ❤️
Absolutely love the square tiles/travertine. It will complete the look for sure! If you look around a little bit, I’m sure you can find that same look for less! Travertine is one of the least expensive natural stones. Love following along 🤍
Because the kitchen is alread so elevated looking with the marble, freshly painted cabinets and gold details, the square tiles might pull in some more rustic vibes to match the rest of the house
I have a similar tumbled travertine square tiles in my master bath from 1998 and it is NOT a vibe. For me anyway 😂 I think the rectangular tiles done in a herringbone would be gorgeous.
@@LianneHutcheson and i'm not a fan of the tiles at all. the busy-ness of all the cut edges to go around the arched doors is UGH to me. (and busy-ness of all the grout that will accumulate cooking smoke and grease ) totally pull away from all the grace going on in there
It seems everybody likes the square tile. Keep the grout lines tight so they won’t get dirty as time passes by. Love this kitchen vibe. That marble is fabulous!!!
I like both tiles but in such a small space, the larger tiles might be better at the offsets you described. The smaller tiles might be just a bit too busy with all the grout lines. All that activity on the floor might take away from/clash with the movement of the marble. You need to let that marble shine. 🌺🌸
I agree. I see several people like the brick but I think the squares would feel more harmonious and less busy. Using the brick somewhere as a little accent though...?
I liked the tile he removed, it was like a charcoal slate, but might have been damaged. Or maybe hard to keep clean? Anyway, I did like the look. It would have been perfect with the marble.
I agree. The space is already quite visually full. The small tiles will be busy. However… they were a better colour. Can you get the big tiles in the colours of the small ones. They were more muted which I think is necessary given all the other lovely features. Great kitchen Drew 🤩
Absolutely the square tiles. Better depth of colour, and wont be as busy as the little ones. Also, you can use the little ones for an accent trim like at the doorways or along the room edge
My thoughts exactly and turning the tiles on point so it not so "square" it's a diamond. Small tiles around the border for sure or a subtle pattern with the combo.
Hi Drew! I believe that for cleaning purposes a square tile will be the best option. A smaller tile will create a lot of spaces where dirt can accumulate and it will be more difficult to clean. So I think the square tile will be more practical :) Btw, the kitchen is turning beautiful ❤️
I like the square tiles for the floor - I would probably use mostly the light color but add a few scattered darker tiles for contrast and interest. I love your house!
I vote using the square tiles with the offset. You don't want to draw attention away from the star attraction of the kitchen marble anyway but to compliment the kitchen as a whole. I can't believe you didn't buy anything at the flea market! Big pat on the back for you! I love the way you have designed the kitchen. I am so envious. But you are doing a fantastic job renovation!
For the floor, at first I liked the colors of the long skinny tile but then when I thought about it, I think it could look really tight and busy once all laid out, so I actually like the square worn tile better! I think it will fill the floor space nicer and the warmer tone will match nicely with the brown and brass.
I was thinking the same, I like the brick the long way through the kitchen but the square are less trendy and i see Drew's look is really more classy/timeless so one more vote square!
I’m really impressed with how young you are and have found your expression of art already. Built a business with it. Remaining humble. May your whole life be filled with fun projects! 🎉❤
Everyone is saying rectangular but the squares are just speaking to me. I’m Portuguese and the square tiles reminded me of my grandmas house in the south where we would spend our summer holidays, sending a warm and homey vibe. I really do trust your vision so whatever you choose we’ll be perfect so just trust yourself :)
I vote for the square floor tiles, and I also vote for you getting some of each color and maybe laying them randomly (color-wise, I mean). The two colors together look really good.
I agree with the majority who prefer the square tiles for the floor. There will be fewer grout lines to worry about on the practical front but aesthetically I think the squares will better compliment the kitchen as a whole. Your marble is the focal point of your kitchen and is quite busy, drawing the eye, and the brick pattern might fight with the marble for attention. You want beauty but harmony too, so the floor needs to be less obtrusive. It's looking amazing already and the brass is beautiful against the cabinets. Dying to see the finished walls and all. 😊🇨🇦
Gosh I am so in AWE of you. I remember my daughter (45) told me about you wayyyyy back when. Then I (68) told my people and they told their people and all the tribes are watching you. Well, son, stay blessed and I am so anxious to see your finished home... Eeeeek so exciting! If you are ever in Oregon we will make you Mexican food! 🌮
I ADORE the brown cabinets with the chunky hardware! Honestly, I couldn't see your vision, & was certain i wouldnt like it. Then I saw the video & it is STUNNING!!! I should have known better than to doubt u. p.s. SQUARE!
love travertine, we have the tile outside in our backyard and around our pool, but not a good idea for kitchen. Reason why we got it outside around our pool is bc it has small holes throughout the tile which allows water to go through and doesn't lead to much flooding and puddling, but in a kitchen, it would be disaster to clean. Crumbs and spilled liquids getting into those tiny holes will be so hard to clean out.
Square tiles!!! They are gorgeous and will have a more timeless feel. If you want to add interest I'd place them in a diamond formation instead of flat against the cabinets. Either way though I'm sure you'll make it look fantastic! Can't wait to see the end result.
Personally, I would have kept the kitchen w/colors in marble - whites and grays, unpolished silver. But….since you choose the dark cabinets I suggest a light floor w/lg tiles. Keeps from getting too busy w/lg tile or too dark. Easy if you go lighter on cabinets in future and won’t show so much dirt. I like the textured finish on upper walls next to marble.
Thank you for new video ! but wow getting motion sickness from camera work - yes you are excited and there is a lot you want to cover so I get why the 100 quick and in motion shots of all the design possibilities. BUT Drew your video content is based on your camera work being 'curated' and eye-candy delicious. Slow down and show your designer's skill in making your video. BTW I vote for WOOD floor in kitchen to match rest of apartment and have visual flow😜 AND please NO tile on walls - that's just crazytown when you have marble! HOME STRETCH chose a paint color and then hang those lanterns and finish this puppy !
The square!! I think the rectangular tile is too small it might look super busy and compete with the marble countertops making the space look a little overwhelming to the eye. You have amazing taste so I know whatever you decide will be wonderful!!
I love that in a time where everyone is doing all white everything, oh and a lot of green you dare to be you! I’m really liking the rich, deep tones it feels so much warmer. Not so hospital esq.
Those door handles are so inspired, they absolutely raise the elegance level of the kitchen. They also agree with period and style of the house. Great choice and such an excellent match for the cabinet color!
Сiao Drew, I thought the kitchen walls finished🤔 i wouldn't add tiles on top of beautiful marble, will look like competing, instead really saddle lime washed wall will be perfect ( never seen in Italian houses tiles&different color marble same time, only if the same marble in different sizes, you know what i mean, (my kitchen looks similar to your braun cabinets, marble, brass handles😉) about floor tiles brighter square is the best to brighten up because kitchen is small. Well hope my opinion is helpful, ciao😘
I live the square tiles, in my opinion, they bring out the details of the other textures in your kitchen. I feel the smaller tiles will make the kitchen look to busy. I love, love, love your whole design!😍🥰😊
Please check the absorptive level of the tiles. There is a risk with specifying a product that (looks) so pourous that it might absorb liquids - and therefore stain (especially in a kitchen). I am even reluctant to specify teracotta on kitchen floors for this reason. Of course you do you - but just something worth checking :)
I like the square tile for rhe floor but I would use both colors and mix and match because both colors are so pretty. It would give the kitchen a lot of interest.
My vote would be the square tile. Square is timeless. You have such beautiful cabinets, hardware, counter and backsplash, the square tile would compliment what you already have accomplished. I will let you decide the color. On film the tile color may look different. Love the the way the kitchen is coming together. Cannot wait for the next update.
Brick laid in a herringbone. Or square on an angle so it looks like diamond shape. I loved that iron Spanish-y coffee table base. Surprised you didn't snag it.
Am I the only one who saw a person peeking around the corner at 19:52, I'm really hoping that was one of your friends😅 Anyway the kitchen is coming along great!!! I love the square floor tiles.
Fun! Wondering what a herringbone pattern would look like in the long tile... I'm not loving the square tiles, but then again, you have not made a single mistake in the process, so go with your gut! I was literally looking for a kitchen update when the video dropped! Thank you!
The tiles are gorgeous! If it makes sense that you can actually see them from under the toe kicks of the cabinets, I’d do a design with the long skinny tiles 2-3 deep and then the square ones. I feel like the subtle variation will give such an extra little something!
I like the square tile with a cobblestone look. I just want to thank you. I have chronic depression and you are such a happy positive person that I always feel better after watching your videos. So Thank You so very much 😊❤️
Everything is looking so good! I would probably do the square travertine maybe on the diagonal? If there are lighter and darker variations could be cool to do a subtle checker look? Whatever you pick will be amazing!
Yep I agree with those that are saying the square tile for the floors. I just think it will suit the rest of the kitchen better and having scattering of the darker tiles with the lighter ones will look so good. The brick ones don’t seem to have much variation in colour on camera. LOVE the colour of your cabinets by the way, it goes with the Spanish theme of the house and the gold handles just compliment them so nicely *chefs kiss*
Welcome Justin !! I LOVE the cabinet color. It contrasts with the marble so well. I prefer the square tiles myself, less seams. Love all those handles. Every one of your videos always makes me smile. Drew you have great taste, and you are such a sweet soul. Thank you for bringing us along.
Hi Drew.. I’m a senior woman who watches all your videos. You are so sweet and so very talented. I love seeing all the tips and tricks you have and I love watching your trips to the store to shop for your home. I can’t wait too see the finished home, it’s gorgeous!
Oh my God that kitchen is coming together so beautifully! I love the colors and hardware. I can't tell you how relieved I am to see you maintain a historical appearance and are not farmhousing the heck out of the place 😅. Picture perfect!
I had large porcelain tiles in my kitchen and they were a nightmare. All the little indentations caught all the dirt because the tiles were very pale, the grouting was pale and showed every mark. When I got to 70 years of age I didn’t want to be on my hand and knees scrubbing the floor every week with bleach to get the grouting clean. I had Karndean fitted and it’s transformed my life. A quick wipe over with the wet mop and all clean and smelling nice. You are young and probably have a cleaner, but in England in the wet weather, how ever hard you try the floor will always get dirty. Love your UA-cam, look forward to it every week. Like the way you are now appreciating older items and antiques for the house instead of all decor items from modern stores. Well done. I’ve been there and done that when I was your age. You only learn by experience. Good luck.
Omg where do I began. I have no words for the transformation you're creating to this beautiful home. I'm just enjoying simply enjoying this work of art come alive. And anticipating on viewing the subscriber makeover coming soon.
Definitely the square tiles to make the space feel the size that it is - the small tiles will reduce the space. I went to a place of awe and bliss for this entire video. Thanks for the repreive from daily life. This area is stunning!!!
I'm just stunned by your beautiful imagination and how you bring it to life in a home that feels like it's hugging you. I bet the house is thankful for the love and devotion you put into it! But ey, you simply radiate what's already inside of you and that's a unique, warm, gentle soul! You go Drew! Keep it up! I'm falling more and more in love with your style!
Love the square tile. I have to wonder how hard it will be maintaining that floor and the textured walls in a kitchen? Our walls get. . . schmutz (best word I could think of for the film). . . because we cook a lot, almost every meal. Is there a way to seal all this so it's easy to wipe clean?
Definitely the lighter square tile. For two reasons: The smaller rectangles are giving me a bathroom vibe, and their size may be very busy in your kitchen. Let that gorgeous marble be the star along with your amazing cabinetry. I love how the wall treatment complements the marble and the hardware is so beautiful!!
I think the pavement-like stile with teh square tiles (the darker ones I think I like the best) would look really good! If you go for the brick ones it very much depends on what pattern you go for, a checkered one or herringbone could also look nice. But I think the square ones fit the kitchen better
I really like the square ones. The colour, the warmth and the bigger scale per Tile would give a great look. The slim bricks could be too busy on the eyes. But either way obviously great!
The brass fixtures look so lovely against that warm brown cabinetry. I'm looking forward to seeing the textured walls. I think the room is going to look warm and elegant.
Drew you seem so much more at ease and well rested since you bought your house even though you are busy with interior projects all over the place! I just love seeing how your house is transforming into beautiful spaces every time you post a video.
Hi, Drew. Designer here. I love how the kitchen is progressing!! It is your home, so do what you love and are drawn to because you have great taste and design instincts. I know you have your heart set on the travertine, but it is such a soft, porous stone that I feel obligated to try to discourage you from using it (especially in a kitchen). If you must, I’d use the brick size and do a herringbone pattern. I love that your viewers saw you and told you that MaCenna and her mom were there too. When you found that cute toilet paper holder, the first thing I thought was, “That would be perfect in MaCenna’s cottage.” LOL You mentioned that your parents are coming into town. What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
I would go with the square tiles in the kitchen. I think they will look more cohesive. That’s just my opinion though. I know whatever you do will be perfect, it always is!! ❤I always love seeing MaCenna pop up in your videos:)) xo
Tumbled travertine square tile for the floor. Perfect. But your hardware choice is top notch! And the squared off pulls are just beautiful as well. They remind me of handmade silverware. You really do have that ability to put things together, well. Amazing to see it coming to a complete look without compromise! love the different texture on the wall as well. I actually typed your name in tonight, to see if I had missed a couple videos and here you are! It is hard waiting for special orders, but you really have chosen well.
It looks amazing!!! I like the grayish tone of the rectangular tiles, but I think the square tile will look less busy and won't compete as much with the countertops. I really don't think you could go wrong though. All of your choices have been perfection!!
Renovation tips - FLOORING first can I say that my choice would be to do HARDWOOD floor to match the rest of the apartment for visual flow. However CURRENTLY YOUR PLAN is to remove all the contemporary black tile flooring in the 2nd floor kitchen, breakfast room and laundry. It makes more sense and saves money and time if you complete ALL the tile demolition in the adjacent areas; breakfast room and laundry . To remove that cement under layer is labor intensive and very dirty job- best to hire that out and get it done over a couple days. Then with prepped sub floor , you can do the tile flooring of the 3 areas IN ONE DAY vs section by section. If you were not so set on actually tile I would recommend looking into a CEMENT POUR with STAMPED 'faux' tile imprint. It can be great look and the cement can be tinted and even have surface treatment to get that old/rustic look you want. The current cement skim on the subfloor might NOT need to be removed! And the time and cost could be be a fraction of what you are going to pay now. NEW DOORs ON FRIG AND OVEN- replace the stainless doors with the look you want. Simple, custom look and money saver. Because OMG hauling those huge ( brand new) appliances down the back stairs to 1st floor kitchen?! And then hauling new huge appliances up the stairs?🤑💰🕰
You’re opening smile and excited “guess what’s in this box?” made me smile so big!! You’re so adorable!! And talented, thanks for making my day! Btw, the hardware is DELICIOUS!
square tile for sure! for starters it’s on the floor so having a small tile will be really hard to keep clean, and also I think as it’s a smaller space the smaller tile will make it look too busy and might feel a bit overwhelming in the shape of the kitchen too Xxx
Oh that hardware is gorgeous! I looove the shape of them. And about the cabinet color… who cares if it’s controversial? It’s your house and you’re the one who will be living with it. Paint it in polka dots for all we care!! Just thank you for sharing your experience with us ❤
Square tiles for sure! I love that you're helping someone else with their place too! So nice! 😁💜I only have a studio; under 300 sq ft. It would be easy for you to use for your ideas. I wouldn't mind 🤭
Square tiles! The brick ones are nice but I think they’d make the floor look too busy. Plus you already have a lot of rectangular shapes in he space, so the square might mix it up a bit
The unlacquered brass hardware looks so beautiful. I like that you thought ahead and know about the brass taking on a patina the more it is handled. I vote for the squares tiles.
My vote is for the square in a lighter shade. I would go to a even larger size so you have less grout to worry about. I can't believe you didn't buy anything at that flea market. Do you have a chair or dresser for the guest room to go with the new bed? What about some kind of bed frame so they won't be on the floor?
It’s the best feeling to put something like your hardware up then sleep on it and come back in the next morning and love it even more than you what remembered. Beautiful!
Go with what makes your heart smile. At the end of the day home means something different to everyone, but since you asked, I would go with the brick style. The squares feel very dated to me. Could be fun to mix them. Actually loving your kitchen more than I thought I would!!
I'd go with the square tile; the marble already adds a lot of beautiful movement to the space. Using the brick could make it looks too busy! Also agree with those saying the square tile gives a more rustic feel and will probably lend more to the aesthetic of the rest of the house :)
I love the hardware too! Hardware truly can make a space extra special. I have cup handles that I am in love with, however it is not a choice I would make if I still had small children they can become quite filthy underneath. It's really coming together. I would definitely choose lighter floor for the darker space.

Square tiles!!! They are gorgeous and will have a more timeless feel. If you want to add interest I'd place them in a diamond formation instead of flat against the cabinets. Either way though I'm sure you'll make it look fantastic! Can't wait to see the end result.
Would look so good with the little tiles as the trim...
In love with the square brick tile with the cabinets 😻😻😻 I think they also match the wall treatment very well!
Absolutely agree. I looove the Square too ☺️
Thank you for new video ! but wow getting motion sickness from camera work - yes you are excited and there is a lot you want to cover so I get why the 100 quick and in motion shots of all the design possibilities.
Brick!!!!! The grayish undertone long rectangular brick is literally stunning. So gorgeous
Those door handles are so inspired, they absolutely raise the elegance level of the kitchen. They also agree with period and style of the house. Great choice and such an excellent match for the cabinet color!
I definitely like the rectangular brick tile better than the square! Looks more elevated/expensive!
I agree, smaller tiles will be to busy with the counter tops.
Square tiles, less grout lines also
Please check the absorptive level of the tiles. There is a risk with specifying a product that (looks) so pourous that it might absorb liquids - and therefore stain (especially in a kitchen). I am even reluctant to specify teracotta on kitchen floors for this reason. Of course you do you - but just something worth checking :)
This is for the floor tile - wall tiling is much more forgiving.
EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS DECOR!! Your dad, myself and aunt are ready to get the orders out right away!! Love the kitchen😉❤️MOM
❤❤❤ aww!!
Good thing mom, ‘cause I’m about to put ,y order in, and I live in 🇨🇦. 😍
Thanks so much for your fast shipping and care with the items!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@traceye.6428 hi I’m excited to get orders out lol! Have a great holiday season.
@@CottagevilleCozies hi you are so sweet! We do our best. There are a lot of cute Christmas items this year! Thanks for the kind words 😊
I love love love your kitchen-your house into your home is stunning
I prefer the square tile, Drew, it will look very authentic, while lightning up the space a little. Love what your doing with your new home 🤗
Brick laid in a herringbone. Or square on an angle so it looks like diamond shape. I loved that iron
Spanish-y coffee table base. Surprised you didn't snag it.
“It’s giving open and close!” So pure.
Am I the only one who saw a person peeking around the corner at 19:52, I'm really hoping that was one of your friends😅 Anyway the kitchen is coming along great!!! I love the square floor tiles.
OMGGGGG that is creepy as hell 😟😟😟
I love the slim brick tile! I think the squares with the dark cabinet would give 90's imo.
I agree!
So cute that you and McKenna keep seeing each other! I love watching you both!!
Fun! Wondering what a herringbone pattern would look like in the long tile... I'm not loving the square tiles, but then again, you have not made a single mistake in the process, so go with your gut! I was literally looking for a kitchen update when the video dropped! Thank you!
I was also thinking a herringbone pattern! Love that!
@@gdawg4911 me too
Same 🥰
Same! We have long rectangular tiles in herringbone in our kitchen and love it so much. Feel it would fit in well here
The tiles are gorgeous!
So Thank You so very much 😊❤️
Your enthusiam is SO contagious. I love to see you and Macenna BOTH! Ya'll give me the desire to GET TF up and do something!!!!
Everything is looking so good! I would probably do the square travertine maybe on the diagonal? If there are lighter and darker variations could be cool to do a subtle checker look? Whatever you pick will be amazing!
Yes, this.
I absolutely love watching the whole process of you renovating your house! You’re doing amazing! Can’t wait to see where the house is in a year☺️
Oh my God that kitchen is coming together so beautifully! I love the colors and hardware. I can't tell you how relieved I am to see you maintain a historical appearance and are not farmhousing the heck out of the place 😅. Picture perfect!
The little brick tiles for the floor are stunning! (: I would go for that option instead of the square (:
I'm also leaning that direction!
Good luck.
Brick!
The smaller tiles in a chevron pattern 😍
Love from AZ and a fellow Spanish style home owner!
@@lonefox I like the square, especially with your idea to stagger them.
Thank you for making over a subscriber’s home and giving back! You are so amazing Drew. LOVE THIS CHANNEL & LOVE YOU! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I admire how you tackle so many of the projects yourself. Great job, great taste, and great work ethic!!
Love the way the kitchen is coming together. I like the square tile. Can’t wait to see the end result. Exciting 😊💕
I'm another senior lady that really enjoys energetic positive young personality . Everything looks so wonderful the kitchen is fabulous!
Same here! I could not do what Drew can, and I just love watching his creativity and 'zest'.
"It's giving open and close!" 🤣🤣I just LOVE your energy and can't wait to see this house come alive
You make me so happy!!! Watching your excitement is contagious
I like the colours of the longer brick tiles 💕
Same here!
Drew you seem so much more at ease and well rested since you bought your house even though you are busy with interior projects all over the place! I just love seeing how your house is transforming into beautiful spaces every time you post a video.
Oh gosh I just think cobblestone has something so incredible about it it’s like cozy warm winter street vibes!
When you found that cute toilet paper holder, the first thing I thought was, “That would be perfect in MaCenna’s cottage.” LOL
You mentioned that your parents are coming into town.
We missed you but can't WAIT to see the entire home makeover you did!!! P.S.-I like the square tiles for the floor rather than the brick ☺️❤️😘
Chunky Square Tiles! They’re cute and subtle - nice compliment to the marble and cabinets. I’m excited to see the finished kitchen!
It looks amazing!!! I like the grayish tone of the rectangular tiles, but I think the square tile will look less busy and won't compete as much with the countertops. I really don't think you could go wrong though. All of your choices have been perfection!!
Looks amazing, Drew! I'm so happy and proud of you! Sending greetings and love from the Netherlands.
Just thank you for sharing your experience with us ❤
Exactly. Everyone has different tastes and opinions. None are wrong as long as you do what feels right to you.
You have incredible 'workmanship skills' crafting this Home back into a New Grandeur is exquisite. Thank you for showing us how to do it "Right"!
Your kitchen is stunning! I’ve been living for your and MaCenna’s reno videos.
The unlacquered brass hardware looks so beautiful. I like that you thought ahead and know about the brass taking on a patina the more it is handled. I vote for the squares tiles.
Herringbone with the brick tile would be gorgeous!
My vote is for the square in a lighter shade. I would go to a even larger size so you have less grout to worry about. I can't believe you didn't buy anything at that flea market. Do you have a chair or dresser for the guest room to go with the new bed? What about some kind of bed frame so they won't be on the floor?
I love the square tiles !! I like how there’s two color variations ❤
It’s the best feeling to put something like your hardware up then sleep on it and come back in the next morning and love it even more than you what remembered.
Beautiful!
I am here for the dark brown kitchen cabinets! So incredibly chique and timeless
Me too! Did he say if he painted them?
Go with what makes your heart smile. At the end of the day home means something different to everyone, but since you asked, I would go with the brick style. The squares feel very dated to me. Could be fun to mix them. Actually loving your kitchen more than I thought I would!!
The kitchen is looking amazing I would go with the square tiles can wait what you have for next week 🥰
I'd go with the square tile; the marble already adds a lot of beautiful movement to the space.
Using the brick could make it looks too busy!
Also agree with those saying the square tile gives a more rustic feel and will probably lend more to the aesthetic of the rest of the house :)
I love the brown cabinets… so moody but also is classic and will look good for the longer.
I love the hardware too! Hardware truly can make a space extra special. I have cup handles that I am in love with, however it is not a choice I would make if I still had small children
they can become quite filthy underneath. It's really coming together. I would definitely choose lighter floor for the darker space.
