Best Metallica song in years!
The mix is SO CLEAN, everyone sounds amazing and the band is TIGHT! HERFIELD’S vocals are AMAZING MAN!!! From the solo section to the end, this song goes to another level and it’s the VOCALS that drive it! ROB’S bass is thick and meaty, and Lars has his kit dialed in perfectly! Credit to Greg Feldman, HARDWIRED AND NOW 72 SEASONS both sound AMAZING! Damn I LOVE this song! (Track 3 I believe bro)

I'm only hearing Rob sporadically, but it might be because I've been working on psytrance kick and bass design and tailoring them for maximum impact. also, I'm listening on studio headphones and monitors. I want to hear this on a good consumer system,
sounds really old school but more than a resemblance of other metallica albums seems they rediscoverered their original musical influences to deliver this type of music. this song feels fresh and new for some reason still based on old school metal.
I listened on spotify then here, so this is my 2nd listen, my take on this song is, that its more about the message, then Metallica doing something sublime, i feel no member got a moment where they totally stick out, or do something that really wows me, its a pretty simple, and plain song structure..
Maybe Rob´s base line is what did stick out a bit, and yes the oldschool vibe to it, that i actually like, its a song i can listen to, saying, well its ok, not impressive.. but it is Metallica, so i proberly listen again, even it didnt knock my socks off..
This sounds like a mix of Kill em All and Load and it's good

To me this is almost a HARDWIRED 2! That’s why I LOVE it. The difference WILL BE I’m betting and HOPING we get a BALLAD, ( I need a Ballad, JAMES IS TOO GOOD… I need it!) but also an instrumental! One of the titles around track 9-11 sounds like a title to an instrumental… THIS SONG IS FIRE, PERIOD! JAMES IS THE BEST FRONTMAN HARD ROCK VOCALIST and is pushing 60! FUCK YES!!! METALLICA FOREVER
I've been listening to thrash for absolute years, I respect and like Metallica, I just felt this was very predictable, it's not a bad song by any meens, it just sounds very generic, on a positive the intro took me off guard abit and also some of the lead work was cool
Kirks solos kind of been underwhelming so far. But I like the feel he’s been bringing
There’s songs on the old albums which aren’t the best because they are saved for later songs, Leper Messiah and the thing that should not be jump to mind
