Bullet in 2005-6, said it 1000 times. I think they're aware of the impact 'The Poison' had on the world, but the magnitude of how much it impacted so many lives is another thing. Just this extremely raw energy and that whole not giving a fuck energy is what deserved the respect of the kids of that generation and how they gravitated towards the vibe that can't be replicated at that moment in time. The live shows back then were mind blowing with a combination of Matt, Moose, Jay and Padge tearing it up and the crowds feeding their energy as well. Just ferocious, tight and aggressive with some beautiful melodies in there as well. Just a wonderful time in existence. I'm glad we're all here to celebrate 20 years with them. Well done for your achievements boys.

It seems like Hand of Blood gets swept under the rug by a lot of fans, but that's always going to be my favorite project they've done, because that's how I discovered them. I wish it got more recognition than it does
I bet they asked A7X and they declined 😢, we would've had the 3 matt's together. Please add Parkway drive, killing with a smiles was a huge 2005 metalcore record
@@brandonweiss8364I doubt that, avenged has recently been hinting a lot to their earlier stuff and they’d never forget their roots like that as Matt has said several times even in the nik interview. I just think they’re more focused on their libad tour and beyond that then putting that on hold to do a metalcore tour. That doesn’t mean they think they’re above metal core that’s simply just not true
Would have loved Parkway but I think they’re pretty reluctant to play too much of their old stuff, particularly pre-Horizons. They have a new sound they want to lock in and even Horizons tracks are played pretty sparsely
36:48 'A place where you belong' is very very very underrated. It's a shame it was NEVER played live! It has one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard in my life.
A Place were you belong is so amazing, I love that song and sounds good on acoustic version covers, also Watching Us Die Tonight, I would like to see them play it, It is a bit similar to Waking the demon, so cool riffs
I love how he mentions “A Place Where You Belong”, it’s honestly my favorite non-single song off of Fever that I heard growing up, and it’s still latched to me to this day. overall amazing interview, a lot of awesome things to hear from him and a very exciting future ahead of them!
Tears Don’t Fall pt. 2 was such a cool song. It had the nostalgia and the vibes of the original but at the same time still felt like a completely different thing. It’s one of the best sequel type things to ever be done in my opinion
What i love about Tears Don't Fall pt. 2 it's a song about the same pain, but from a more experienced point in live. Like if part 1 was a breakup in your 20th when you were high on love. And part 2 was a breakup in your 30th where you already invested a view years, planed your living, your family. It's less boiling emotions, but heavier in a more despaired vibe, paired with a more complex theme for a more complex live. ^^ Like in the first part you smash a bottle of beer against a streetlite, in part two you are tempted to throw a good glas of wine against the wall in your living room.
The only thing missing from the tour is A7X doing City of Evil Also, I bet you anything they did ask them but they probably didn’t wanna do the nostalgia thing, which fine but what a shame too, although it’s an interesting coincidence that they brought back blinded in chains for this recent run
I bought my first guitar and started to learn how to play it just because Most Wanted Hand of Blood. This decision literally like a butterfly effect impacted my whole future life big time.
I remember how in 2005 I heard the song Hand Of Blood from NFS Most Wanted - since then I fell in love with metal music, a week later a classmate came to me with a disc of songs from the album The Poison - this band discovered for me the very metalcore with which I had known since my youth age to this day holds the core and desire in me in various difficult life situations not to give up, not to give up, but to fight against adversity, plus it inspired me to pick up a guitar in 2010 - since then, my favorite hobby after work and a hard day is to pick up guitar, play a couple of BFMV songs and enjoy all the beauty of the songs that Matt and his team once wrote for us. Matt, you made me who I was meant to be, thank you for supporting me from a very young age! \m/

I fell in love with bullet all over again and it's been very nostalgic and invigorating. I missed them during their latest tour in the US, so I'm so happy to hear that they will be touring with Trivium in 2025, I've never seen either band, but this would be the time to see them to check it off the bucket list!!! let's fn go!
underrated bfmv song - Ashes of the innocent ...thats why you should also hear full albums kids :D
Had the chance to see Bullet as a teenager in a small club in France during the Scream Aim Fire tour, it was a great night
I didn’t get into metalcore until 2018 , in my mid 40s . My friends can’t believe this jam band fan is so deep into this. I love getting to experience the whole career of Trivium, Kse, Parkway ATR all at once
Had to pause to watch dont need you live with his son.
So cool. You can see how proud he is of his boy.
