Jimmy's last Bean Blossom Performance. Part 2 of 4. Jimmy loved the festival at bean blosom Indiana and this is his last performance there. You can really sense the reflection of a lifetime of fond memories in jimmy's voice. he knew he was standing on his favorite spot in the whole world for the last time. The last time I ssw Jimmy perform was at the Beanblossom reunion he had with JD and Paul a couple od years ago. What a show! They was perfect! It was just like way back when and Jimmy said to Paul, "Your tenor ain't lost nothin" and Paul said, "Yeah, the Lord has been good to me". I travelled over a thousand miles to see it and it was worth every mile! They was perfect.

that's awesome. i heard bean blossom got cancelled for 2020, but i heard they are going forward with 2021. Can't wait to go. Hopefully there will be some good bluegrass there this year. Not sure who is still alive.....maybe Wayne Lewis and a few others. please let me know if you know

I made the trip to see that show as well. JD and Paul were in very good form but Jimmy did not sound very good that night. I'm very glad I had the opportunity to see them though. Paul Williams sings and plays as good now as he did in the '50s.
