Ingredients used and measurements:
80.00 grams rose water
5.00 grams niacinamide
0.50 grams allantoin
3.00 grams propanediol
5.00 grams calendula extract
0.50 grams liquid germal plus (Broad spectrum preservative)
5.50 grams vegetable glycerine
0.50 grams hyaluronic acid
As this serum contains water, you need to add a broad spectrum preservative to prevent microbial growth. This is not an option. Even with a preservative, the serum may spoil as our work spaces are not sterile laboratories. If you notice a change in colour, odour or texture, please discontinue use immediately and prepare new badge.

Thanks for making this is in tiny batch. I saw it done before but she made enough for 5 containers... Slay Helens Way is first time I saw this being done. Hers didn’t have niaciminids, but had tea tree oil in it.

Mine got a gel like to it when I added the preservative(maybe to much) but once I keep stirring it was fine and it also change the color again maybe I added too much. What u think. I saw this video after trying on my own

You have to be specific because every surfactant has a different active surfactant matter. For example, coco glucoside has an ASM of around 50% and Sodium cocoyl isethionate ( also known as SCI), a solid surfactant has an ASM of around 84%.

Yes, you can use kojic acid. between 1 - 3 grams in a 100 grams formulation. t is recommended to add the kojic acid in a warm liquid mixture with a temperature of 25-40 degrees Celsius or 77 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

There are 3 types of hyaluronic acids:
High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (also known as long chain). ...
Medium-molecular hyaluronic acid (also called medium-chain) works similarly to high-molecular hyaluronic acid.
Low-molecular hyaluronic acid (also called short-chain). ...
Hyaluronic acid (long-chain) helps to supply the skin cells with nutrients and make the skin moist and elastic.
Sodium hyaluronic acid. This hyaluronic acid with a molecular weight of 10-50 kDa does not form a gel-like structure, unlike the other HA. However, it penetrates much deeper into the skin. The best effect is achieved when the low molecular weight HA is combined with the high molecular weight HA.
Sodium hyaluronate (this is what I used in the video)
1200-1800 kDa
Hyaluronic acid (medium chain) maintains hydration and forms a non-occlusive film. It helps maintain fibre structure and flexibility.
Helps against wrinkles and extremely dry skin. It makes the skin smoother and softer. Considered the best intensive moisturiser, protecting the skin even in low humidity conditions.
Hydrolysed sodium hyaluronate (short chain).
This is the name of the smallest hyaluronic acid that penetrates deepest into the skin. It moisturises the skin a lot, repairs damaged cells, and works against oxidation and ageing.
Then there is oil-based hyaluronic acid, but we will not be talking about that now
Kojic Acid reduces the skin's ability to produce and synthesise melanin. Melanin is responsible for the colour pigmentation of the skin. For this reason, kojic acid can make the skin area whiter by preventing melanin synthesis. Excess melanin comes to the surface and peels off within a few days.

It is a water based serum. You can use xanthan gum, for hyaluronic acid, glycerine for propanediol, and chamomile for calendula
