Be sure to print in a filament that can withstand the heat, PLA/PLA+ will deform on a warm day
are we able to sand printed parts?
Yes you can, you can even add body filler and paint them if need be
@@adequate673yes
Gotta get rid of those layer lines for a cleaner look but functionality is there lol
Also increase the export res a whole lot
Dude the quality of that cup holder is atrocious 😂
Nice job wow
It would be nice if the cylinder was smoother, I forget the term, otherwise 🎉
Yeah a little more time could have been spent on the modeling to smooth that out but it's functional.
Easy peezy!$700- $1000 for the printer, $100~ for supplies, several hours/days to set up and learn how to work it, and presto.
It's a $350 printer...
cry about it
$350 printer, $30 roll of pla which could print this part 12 times.
@@MaffettMotorwerks can't use PLA inside a car, even annealed PLA will deform from the cabin heat in summer. But ABS and PTEG are about the same price anyways
@@Nordic_Mechanic true bare pla is heat sensitive, but I’ve used pla with a top coat of fiberglass resin.
Its kinda hideous
