A local conservation officer I just met uses onx for his personal hunting app. Your review and his recommendation clinches it for me. I’m going with onx.
I started with On X then got both. I use Go Hunt more unless my buddies only have On X. GoHunt 3D is just was good and I like their range finder and ease of naming your waypoints and building hunts.
Nothing has made smaller tracts of public land more crowded than these hunting apps. l just scouted 175 acres of state land the other day and located 6 treestands in one quick walk, awesome !!!
Thank you Matt. Your review was for me. I am using OnX to scout for my first trip to MT for archery elk and been struggling to choose between the GH or OX. My conclusions were similar to yours but got a feeling I might move to GoHunt sooner or later. Thank you amigo, much success!
Thank you for the kind words but most of all I'm glad it was helpful! Where are you going in MT? We went there last spring for spring bear and might have some boots on the ground insight depending on where you are going. Hope you stick around so we can hear how you did!
Thanks for the review. Where I hunt in eastern Oregon there is no service in the woods and app reliability is key, I do plan to have backup.
Thanks! Hope you have a great season, definitely have a back up plan.

If GoHunts mobile app was more reliable it would be a pretty clear number 1 to me, but I just hate the risk.

1. Awesome username. 2. There's very few things in life that are 100% good. That is an unfortunate side affect of these mapping programs.
I have been trying to find something in that covers Australia and the USA, appreciate your video.
Glad we could help! Hopefully it gives you what you were looking for.
Let me know what you think of Timber Hunt Maps. It's completely free! ua-cam.com/video/qeQgET1Omco/v-deo.htmlsi=IlX4bPgk3wIJfPDu
