This is the first nice testimony I heard about shared ownership, because majority of people out there say awful stuff about it, and they also state that it’s impossible to stair case to 💯 percent mortgage. But I do believe when JESUS SAYS YES, nobody can say no.
Thankyou soo much for the video, I am going through the process of shared ownership, it’s great to see someone who’s gone though the process😊 thankyou thankyou
aww congrats! the testimony is nice, when you listen to the Holy Spirit he provides a way. i always hear about how hard it is to scale up once the value of the house skyrockets by the time you are able to purchase, im glad you were able to do it!, did you find the jump in house value significant? also did the costs of maintenance increase significantly now owning 100% and bein responsible for more?, would u recommend others to do shared ownership based on ur experience?
@TemiladeSoyoye I will recommend it only if they meet the conditions I explained in the video, and they really could not afford more. I think it is better to buy on shared if one could, than solely paying rent, although, for some, it may not be the case. Yes, our mortgage payment went up by a lot, and the value of the house had increased. Investing in property is definitely worth considering.
@@LocsNchroniclesMrsO true talk. But the reality is that a lot of people are in the condition you explained, saving for deposit it’s so hard alunos impossible considering that every day bills must be paid😢. And with shared ownership most cases is almost impossible to own the full property and also to be leasehold free, because it’s seems that shared ownership properties are leasehold for life. Please do you have any tips on how to become leasehold free? Or is just by purchasing the 💯 of the property that makes the owner straight away leasehold free? And what about ground rent? Do you still pay? I am considering going into it this why so many questions. Thanks.
Hi Mrs O, I am really considering SO. You went from leasehold to freehold, was the SO on a house, not a flat? Did they also consider your length of stay in the UK before approving your SO?

Yes, from leasehold to freehold. It is a house. Length of stay did not really matter as we had settled status.
@@LocsNchroniclesMrsO oh, thank you
