One of the many things I love about this is that Luther's arrangement stayed true to the original McFadden & Whitehead - he just put his own magic touch on it and in my opinion made it even better, and this is on of my all-time favorite classic disco singles. And man, what an arrangement and production! Never get tired of that voice - one of my three-all time favorite male pop vocalists.

2022 Love this performance! Miss Mr. Luther Vandross! Had the pleasure of meeting/seeing him on the street in NYC -Upper East side, 2001. In my boldness, I offered him a ride because he had just exited a shop and was on the sidewalk. Seconds later a black Maybach pulled up . He didn't need a ride in my little company car (Volvo) lol lol He so Oh no thank you as he casually strolled to the his ride. So classy, so humble but so fabulous all at the same time!

There were so many greats in the 80’s. Luther, George Michael, Michael Jackson, Prince and Whitney. All very gifted vocalists, lit up the stage when they were performing and wrote songs that are as relevant today as they were back then. I would go back in time in a minute.
