I can't believe you have the very tile sheets I've been trying to trim, right down to the color!! Destroyed a few with the wrong tools; now I can try it by the sure method. A million thanks.
I can't believe this video exists! I have that same tile and want to cut the little black squares into triangles. Had no idea how to do it. This is so perfect, thank you! :D
Omfg ty so much. I'm going to be trying to do a decorative run of tiles between some pencil tile and the chair rail tile up above some subway tile and the only way I an think of to get it all to match the flooring style a bit (I'm doing this same floor tile but switching out the dots for little iridescent tiles of the same size... I know I'm crazy) is to just mosaic it by hand and was worrying about how to get all those edges cut and looking straight. This looks even better than if I were to dremmel and I already have these glass cutting tools. Never thought it would just be the same concept!
I think the best place to a buy glass cutter is amazon I think. But if your tiling a whole kitchen you may be better off renting a tile cutter from Home Depot.
Nice, I did it with a non rolling scorer and pliers. Put the tile in the pliers after scoring and press wood down on to the tile. Same result. But nice vid 👍🏼
Hi , me again. I installed this same tile on my bathroom floor, but haven't grouted yet. Do you have any opinion on using the Fusion Pro single compound grout for this style tile?
I dont think I've used that knowingly...I generally use whatever is cheapest...on this bathroom I wish I had sealed the grout more or used something else because it stained kind of quick. Or maybe used gray to start with. Anyway I'm curious ...let me know how it goes.
I love you. You are better than the pros. I am using almost the same tile and was wondering how I was going to cut it. Your way is so easy and so accurate. Thank you!
I’m so glad this helped!!!! After doing it wrong a few times I was so thrilled this worked out so easily!

You're so welcome! Don't you love UA-cam!?
The perfect video for me - even the exact same pattern of tile I'm working with. Thanks!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I happened to have one of those glass tools... WORKED PERFECTLY!
this gives me 100% confidence in a coming tile project.
I’m using a small octagon tile about the size of a quarter and I might use this technique. Thanks.
you're welcome....it should work like a charm.
Thank you so much. What is the name of the second tool you use?
What a nice cut! I've been struggling with these cuts using a wet saw. My motto is "No problem can't be caulked over"
That’s so true! But this cutting method is so easy and the tools are cheap!

Great! I am putting tile in my kitchen. Where I can buy the tools? Do they sell them in Lowe's or home depo?

Great, thanks so much for sharing. God bless rob
Thank you Rob! Thanks for the comment. and God Bless you too!
I'm installing this same floor tile in my bathroom. What trowel did you use?
I used a small v-notch trowel.
Can l use this same method to cut my tortillas into triangles ?
yep!🤣
Where can i get the small tiles cutter with oil in side
The oil filled cutter is a glass cutter, I bought it from a stained glass shop. You can get them without oil at Home Depot.

@@MimzyandCompany Thanks. I looked at your other videos after the fact and realize tiling is not your main focus.
@@willgreen5023 Yeah...I'm a hacker.
Does these tools cut through 1/4 inch thick diamond tiles?
Not sure about diamond tiles...never used diamond tiles. But I would think if they're 1/4" thick it should work. ???
@@MimzyandCompany thanks much😀
Does this work for porcelain
good question. I would like to know too.
Good job, Thanks
Thank you Gene!

Where are the tiles from?
I bought them at habitat for humanity, but I'm pretty sure Home Depot sells this exact pattern currently.
