I would love a mini series full of Becky doing random things around her house! Always loved that content in the vlogs 💕 also lil (thrifty) hauls (clothes or decor) would be so sick 🌻

I watch every vlog. I like having them separate from the main channel. With the at home diy’s I like having them here, even if they are longer. The only parts of vlogs I skip are concert clips.
I’m happy with y’all taking a break and then coming back and being excited about it.

I like the vlogs for what they are-casual, a few diys, running errands, joking with the crew. I can see Kelsey wanting explore religion but I feel like that just doesn’t quite match why I love your vlogs for their relaxed laid back every day nature Monthly vlogs perhaps could allow you two to capture the moments of you daily life that you feel inspired to film. I felt especially terrible when Becky was filming during a harder phase of her seasonal depression and Kelsey was filming during her stressful house renovation. Definitely don’t force out content just to do it, but also the style of the vlogs I don’t think is the problem, it’s really just keeping up with the frequency of them!

I agree. I love the main channel without a doubt, but sometimes the main channel vides start to feel like a TV show and a bit overproduced. Having the casual vlog channel with fantastic editing and humor is a great refresher. The two channels balance each other perfectly in style. If the channels get combined, hopefully Justin can find that balance. Either way, I'll still love the content you guys put out so don't put too much pressure on yourselves.

I like the idea of having "when relevant" vlogs better than weekly. I think it will prevent EVERY vl9g from being over 20 minutes long

I really love when you show us the small DIYs at your places like the stuff Becky builds at her house to make life easier! I also LOVE when you show us your hauls and things you find. Small tidbits here and there. I love the little updates here and there, but I feel like you can give these life updates in your podcast as well! The behind the scenes stuff!!!!! I love hearing and seeing your journeys!!!!

I like the idea of just a dump of videos that feel like they don't fit on the main channel whenever you guys want to, whether it's like a shopping trip that you want to film or a diy that you don't think fits on the main channel. I like the idea of a random, slightly incoherent, long vlog that describes a diy along with parts of your days. I also love the Toronto idea for different seasons for visitors and even Torontonians! I'm a torontonian and if you find new cool spots of anything that you want to share, that would be cool too - whether it be an antique store or vegan restaurant or whatever! I want you guys to film when you want to and just post whatever on this vlog channel that doesnt have to be so put together like the main channel is

I remember when y’all first started the vlog channel!!! It’s crazy to think I’ve been following y’all for so long! I watch all of your videos on the main channel and the vlog channel because I genuinely enjoy your spirit and energy. Y’all started doing this because you got to do what made you excited and if you don’t feel that anymore, don’t do it! I will watch whether it’s weekly or monthly or quarterly. Or even if videos come out randomly after a project with some behind the scenes detailed footage of some DIYs that didn’t make the cut. Also, y’all are approximately my age (I’m 29) and I can only imagine putting most of my life on video for other people to watch. I’m sure you and your loved ones need and want privacy. And you deserve that! I get that this is also a business for you and so you have to make decisions based on what will bring views but I hope you also do what makes you happy. If vlogging has become too stressful to do daily for the weekly vids, please don’t do it! Love you ladies and wish y’all the happiest and most plentiful lives! Sending positive vibes from Florida!

I love little DIY, cleaning, or organizing around the house like Becky does in her home. Gives me motivation to do it in my home. So if some of the team members need to organize the workshop, I would love to see that too. Vlogs should be easy going. Could even include the other members on the team going to shop for projects.
I would love to know more about which tools are best for diy projects.
As for Kelsey and your house renos .... I would love to get some update in vlogs (not actual videos of the Reno) but more of a this is where you're at in the reno (ex. We have now installed drywall in the basement, or I chose this colour for my accent wall, etc). Or post one picture on Instagram. Everyone will still check out the full video because it's a good series.
Keep up the good work 👍😁

Driving story time vlog while you’re on your way to a diy or the thrift store would be super cool. How y’all met or your favorite story from college or never have I ever! There are so many options for “stories” you can do rather than a podcast because seeing your reactions is probably the best part of a good story time

I would love like travel stuff, like whenever you guys travel you could vlog it if you feel like vlogging of course. I know becky said in a podcast before that she liked the cuba one where she didnt talk to the camera. Those could be cool too and then maybe after say what you did and any recommendations. Also asKelsey said things to do in Toronto would be interesting as well.
Or i like the behind the scenes office stuff and maybe more business advice for other small/ growing businesses could be interesting if you guys feel passionate about that. Gonna miss the (the vlog fam knows first) thing!! So the bts would keep that alive!
If anything you could take a tip from Ashely from best dressed your old editor - to use it as a place for bloopers
And also ive been waiting for more podcasts, but i know you guys are moving offices so i understand. *nervous laugh*

I watch pretty much every vlog within a day or two of them coming out. I love seeing the BTS of things, as well as getting to watch anything extra with you guys because you two are amazing! The vlogs allow even more of your personalities to shine through, plus it's cool to know what you guys are up to. Any extra content from The Sorry Girls is always welcome, but I don't want you two to feel burnt out by it. If you need to take a break, or maybe make the vlog every two weeks instead of weekly, do what works best for you two!

  • @thebeautyoflife327

I do watch every single vlog (although sometimes not for a few weeks after it’s uploaded). I wouldn’t mind one bit if it was like once a month instead!
My favorite parts are Becky’s homey stuff - little changes/DIYs/cleaning. In the vlogs I don’t expect instructions for your DIYs (maybe just like “I wanted something for this area of my house, I got this thing from the thrift store, I got this from Michaels, I’m gonna use E6000 and glue this to this then paint it”). I just like watching you work! I’m sure Kelsey will have that kind of vlog content with the new house too but obviously not for a long time which is fine - I’m really enjoying the new series!
Also I think if you’re cutting back to 1-2 vlogs per month you could definitely put those on the main channel! People who don’t want to watch can just skip those few (but 4 per month would be annoying for those people).

I think this is awesome. Break because you need a refresh. Love the idea of Toronto Life Series. You define your content as diy so your whole lives revolve around that. So separating the two work and free time is hard to draw a line. So when you have a focus on content you may lose that focus of enjoying your time at home and work separately. You all got this figured out already. Keep pushing thru and can't wait to see what you come up with next. Sending you good vibes! Thank you for staying true to you. That's what keeps me watching 😊

behind the scenes of your main channel videos! content of getting to know the team more! Continuing your vlogging but maybe once or twice a month instead of weekly. Mini diys that are “too small” for a main video but you’re doing anyway (like beckys recently)
I think a second channel of vlogging is about getting to know the people behind the main channel more so whatever interests or *inspires* you to pull out your camera is what’s going to make the best content for us and yourselves personally! ❤️❤️ much love !!

I fully support taking a break from the vlog channel and also approaching vlogs differently. I've been concerned for a while about the pressure of them on you two for filiming everything but also the team putting out so many videos. My favorite vlogs are the ones that have a theme I can tell from the title, and i like when they focus on one main thing. Like, the one where Becky made the car tent for camping was awesome. For content, I like a lot of what you mentioned. I'd love to see more behind the scenes stuff, like what is Allie's role in the DIYs and the editors' process. It would be a lot of fun to hear more from the whole team. I also think fewer vlogs would be fine, 1 or 2 a month. If it could be a thing where you do it when you want to film something, that would be good. I love to see the DIYs you do on your "off" time. It would be fun to see a "making of" a thrift challenge video.

  • @yzolakitchi

I like checking in with your vlogs but think Becky's comment about enjoying being able to experience moments without vlogging is super important. I totally respect your need to pull back and re-assess where you are at with vlogging. You work so hard to produce great content so thumbs up for all you and your team do. Calling back to one of your early podcasts about creativity, I think Kelsey mentioned wanting to learn how to do resin projects. I am sure there will be some manufacturer's/suppliers with skilled reps who could do a joint tutorial with you so we get to learn with you - especially with more technical materials like resin. I loved seeing Kelsey's pottery class and appreciate she couldn't film much as other people were present but watching you guys learn new skills in a vlog-esque way would deff be something I'd enjoy! And would be great to see the rest of the team there - loved watching the team bonding weekend :-)

I like the thing with having a different channel appart from the main channel. Plus, its awesome having a more personal channel with small series about w/e, behind the scenes and, for example, Kelsey's thing with religion (haha). And the content with Becky's at home diy, i just love it! And kind of keeping the "professional" work on the main channel. I think it's a good way for the "vlogfam" to still be able to have a closer connection (or w/e you may call it) and for you guys to be a bit more free about your content! I don't want the vlog-feeling to go away, but it makes sense to let it evolve and it is especially important for you and your team to feel inspired and not-boringly-obliged...

My heart goes out to you both. It is enjoyable to watch just about anything you post! However, if I were in your shoes, I would hate to have to carry a camera around all the time because of "your invitation into your lives". I don't know if that is worded very well, but I think you should know that you are entitled to your lives without us watching. I love to watch your DIY projects and the behind the scenes clips are so fun to watch. Your artsy sides as in "art" and "redoing anything" (from thrifted clothes to other people's living spaces). It is amazing to watch the transformation and how creative/talented you both are. So, do what you need to do, and don't forget that you need to live "your life moments" in real time too. I am enjoying the house renovation series. I will keep watching because I enjoy your channel. Walking around with you all the time is fun, but not at the expense of your "burnout". Love to you both from the USA! XOXOXO

Obvi - if you need a break to not be on then totally take a break. The vlog content I enjoy most is Becky home diys, style updates (thrift or hair related) and the BTS of the office and DIYs. I LOVE the vlogs. Kelsey's parts are always so funny, Becky's parts are always so chill. AND DANNY !!!!!❤️ but also seeing everyone from the office. But hey! if you need a break and are just not excited by it anymore - take a break or as you said reimagine what you girls want to do 😬

What if you guys alternate weeks? One week Becky can film what she’s doing at home and her diy stuff or cleaning etc. I love her at home videos and love to see her diys apply to her home. And Kelsey can take the next week and vlog her personal development etc kind of stuff. Or if your team is down, they can take a week either all mashed together like you two used to do or they trade off weeks etc. but I agree with the end that if you’re not excited about it, don’t do it. And take a break until you guys come up with an idea that you’re all excited about. Bc that energy will show either way and we all want you guys to be excited and hyped about what you’re putting out. But we’ll consume the content either way 😅💖

Loooong time watcher, first time commenter! I love watching people do what they are passionate about! We’ve got to remember that people need time away from work, and vloging is a constant thought. I love the idea of more structured content here. Perhaps you could do a miniseries where each team member takes turns vloging their life for a week? And perhaps have a set list of questions each person has to answer so we can get to know each member of TSG! I’d also love to know more about what roles and jobs each person on the team performs and how they go about it, but it’s just an idea :) Hope you get some well deserved rest and I can’t wait to see what creations arise. Hope this comment helped xxx

I love the idea of topical vlogs! But really just vlog when you feel like it. It’s seems way more genuine that way, and it’s fun to watch.

I’ve been here for such a long time that I kind of get it, blogs can be really hard to be always with a camera so I think that if you still like it, than do it less maybe monthly and just do what you want, if you want to show a bit of a personal DIY go ahead, if you feel like making a video about what to do in the place you live or maybe just a day in the life of a busy youtuber, I kno I’m cliche but do what ever you feel like it people are gonna like it and also people are gonna hate it but hey you can’t always please everyone so just do what pleases you, I love everything you do and I feel really connected with you through the blog and because of it I understand your struggle, take your break and be better with yourself 💜

@5:00 again I agree in the sense that you guys could totally take a moment project like when you read the jacket and create that as maybe a little commercial break in the midst of DIY content to be like oh by the way here's a quick hack or a quick trick or a quick thing you can do or was something that we discovered and maybe add some background information as the in-betweens while looking at the step-by-step DIY videos that you often produced

Also bloopers or behind the scenes would be great, like what doesn't make it into the video.
Monthly vlogs would be nice too!

I think it comes across when you’re not interested in something so you should do the things you’re inspired by. Plus I prefer it when i see your DIYs that make your life easier like Becky’s ‘I’m updating my room because I’m sad with the weather’. But also, behind the scenes of a makeover look good too. Hope that helps? J x

I love the vlogs the way they are.. quirky and relatable. I completely understand feeling burnt out but maybe you could do a vlog every 2 weeks or even pass the vlog camera to so b me other people in your team. As far as content, I love life updates, behind the scenes of videos, impromptu DIYs/mini projects, chats, hauls, etc. I’m happy with pretty much anything as long as it’s not super scripted or staged!! If vlogging is started to feel forced, then take a break or switch it up and just see what feels right 😊

Hello! I'm a young entrepreneur and what I love most about your vlog is to see how you're started your own business! You're started with Halloween costume and now you have an amazing business with a real dream team. You're are both very inspiring and I would love to know more about the way you work with your team and how you manage to do all the things you're creating. I really don't feel like you would need a new content every week, but when you think you have enough things to talk about just go for it! I think the "behind the scene" of being a successful business team would be very great! Thanks a lot anyway and sorry if my English is not that good :)

I love the vlogs but can’t imagine living the lifestyle of keeping up with a weekly vlog like you have! A “what to do in Toronto” almost feels too polished for a vlog channel, like it belongs on the main one. I think a bi-weekly or monthly vlog would be great that focuses on diys that don’t make it onto the main channel (like random Becky-at-home ones) plus behind the scenes of regular working hours. Filming can be from the perspective of all 6 of you to split up the load. You can focus a lot less on filming in your personal/off time, only sharing what you want to, but still keep the personal feeling of the channel. Personal life glimpses can be kept to projects like the Ireland trip video. I love hearing your thoughts on films, too! Also, like other people have said, I skip every single concert 😭

I watch every single vlog from you guys. This+main channel is really one of two youtubers I actually keep up with consistently. And the only ones I've been consistent with for years. Like since the beginning. But you should live your lives and not feel like you have to film. I'd watch literally anything from you.
More in depth videos about Becky's home diys on the main channel would be nice. Either way is nice. What makes the videos great is just your energy, so you have to take care of yourselves and do what you actually want to.

I feel like since you have a main channel, the vlog channel can just be like, “this doesn’t fit but I like it, so it goes here”. Totally cool. Also, I love shots of people working while music plays in the background. It makes me feel like I’m working with someone when I’m working from home. Lol

I'm following an artist who also has a vlog channel and she started doing vlogs whenever she felt like she had something and it works really well, sometimes it even feels like she is vlogging more, because she has the freedom. :) That is one idea.
I would be sad not to see at least a few vlogs of your daily lives once in while because they bring a lot of joy at least for me personally.

Obviously I only want you guys to vlog what you want to vlog, but I do just have to say that some of my favorite vlog moments are the down to earth more mundane clips cause I feel like as normal as you guys are, those clips make you even more #relateable. But the smaller home DIYs, like Beckys back porch and painting her living room wall are also favorites! I also agree with one commenter about seeing vlogs from the rest of the team possibly. I feel like no matter what they film Justin can make it exciting and interesting with his mad editing skillz😎 But obviously I support you guys whatever you decide to do👍

Food for thought...(I’m not in the same age bracket as most of your viewers, but have been watching your main and vlog channels for years). You are running a business, and there does need to be a separation of personal and professional life as it suits you, not your viewers. You can’t put pressure on yourself to do everything. You’re a great creative team and whatever content you decide suits your business model, you should focus on that. The rest will always work it’s way out. Trust yourselves, you’re smart entrepreneurs. 😊👍🏼🥂

I always wonder how vloggers don't burn out, because you have never time without work.
The reason for me to watch your vlog is behind the scenes and the diy content. I also think that the idea of showing toronto is an interesting idea. But the most important thing is, that you are happy and don't get burned out. So take your free time and relax in your free time, you have to watch after your self.

Its okay to not always have to think about work. We need that as human beings. It takes away from the way you can enjoy all that is happening around you. When you love to film something do so, but it shouldnt feel as an obligation. I feel like well love the content as long as you love doing it.

Do more lifestyle DIYs like what Becky was saying for the main channel! PLUS, once the Reno's are done for Kelsey she will have house DIYs too! I agree main channel is getting vloggy but I like it. I'd like to see you guys learn new stuff or Kelsey learn about religion. I know there is a deeper and more serious side you you, and I like to see that. I LOVE the step by step DIYs, plus the natural flow of DIYs working out or not. And keep doing what inspires you. It's your inspiration that keeps me watching. Also, I really like when Becky cooks on the vlog. And I like when Kelsey shares her eco tips. If you put all this on the main channel, I'd still watch them all.
