Caitlin Glover I was waiting for the potential move in backgrounds to indicate they weren’t in the same room, because of obvious social distancing reasons, but Kelsea’s nodding and “looking at Becky talking” during the scene seemed believable for 85% of it... so I’ll give it to them. 😋
@@TiffanyLeClair during the end scene, Kelsey moves her hand it and it goes blurry, aside from the audio, that was the only full indication that it was split.
@@shellsisacoolpear If you look closely you can see the split on the screen, where the whites don't completely match. But I'm probably more prone to noticing details like this because editing photos is my job.

I was pleasantly surprised at how confident Nick was in front of the camera. I giggled when he responded to that guy about having to blog for work. There's no doubt, that guy was a gamer before the quarantine. ha ha.
Yes me too! He always came off as a shy introvert to me whenever snippets of him appeared in a video but he is a complete natural, and I was thinking the same thing, total gamer 😏

Comment for Daniella: I had a mouse around New Year's. I got a humane plastic mouse trap delivered from Amazon and put cereal with peanut butter inside. The mouse went in within 3 MINUTES of me putting the trap down in the room it was in. Mouse then safely released in a park. :)
I also looked for any openings it could have come in and filled cracks in my foundation/walls with expanding gap filler, also from Amazon.
When cats have brought mice in, I’ve put a carrier bag down with chocolate in it and crouched very still on top of a stool beside the bag and grabbed it when they go in, you could put it next to a desk if you remember to stay still

The "What Type of Quarantine Walker Are You?" killed me 😂 So relatable! I'm a cross the street kind of walker haha although it makes my walks more difficult! Today there were people coming at me from all sides, and I got so stressed out 😂
Right! I have never seen so many people out for walks and bike rides. I felt like I was in a 1980's sitcom when kids actually played outside.

Lol together but apart. How did you film the intro it was cool. No I love the sound and text and thoughts. Sometimes if it’s not what they are saying but a secondary thought sometimes it’s too fast to read though. Your guys videos are my number 1!

I've often thought of how much I liked the editing of these videos. The little words bursts add to the video. As far as crossing the street when someone walks towards me, I had to give it up after getting run over multiple times. Stay safe!

Hey Nick! As a heavy slack user, I got some tips for you. I work in an IT company that employes 140 people with many teams separated by client. We have one workspace for the whole company, and every team has their own workspace that includes clients as well. Here are some tips:
1. Establish and enforce strict rules about what channel serves what purpose. Every time someone posts a silly meme in #general, they get a public warning reminding them that #general is for company wide announcements and work based matters. We do this in normal times, but really enforce this now that we all work from home.
2. Is there a channel you joined a long time ago, but never post in and ignore every message in? Leave it now. It just makes you wanna read it to remove the red dot, but it is visual and mental clutter. Now is the time to leave all of those lunch, drinks after work, yoga class channels.
3. For channels you don't want to leave, but don't have to read every message in them, utilize the mute function. It remains in your list, but you don't get notifications, and you can take a few minutes once a day to read through it and still stay on top of it.
4. In the settings for the app, you can find an option to turn off the red dot, and also set the frequency of notifications. You can even schedule do not disturb, so you can have a block of time every day when you get no notifications. Explore those settings and see what works best for you.
5. Finally, if you do all of these and you still feel distracted by messages on slack, try to, on a company level, utilize the status feature of Slack. It allows you to set a status, e.g. "I am busy rn, don't text me" that everyone can see if they try to DM you.
Hope these help you and anyone else who is working from home for the first time. Stay productive, stay safe, *stay home* and wash your hands ☺️

Tips: plan meals to decrease those snacks. Drink lots of water to stay energized. Move daily to get in some exercise and as a mindset and health coach I can't leave without saying to remember to count your wins each and every day!

Nick - on Slack, you can just have notifications turned on for when someone mentions your name! That'll cut down on the amount of message notifications you have popping up.

I'm a digital artist and I've had these travel videos from last year that I haven't had any inspirations to create it with, so Justin, thank you for this small tutorial and words of encouragement, it really helped me! Unfortunately I am in the compromised immune system category so I either take a walk so obscenely early before my work day (virtual teacher now) that I don't come in contact with anyone or I don't go outside. I haven't been outside in a little over a week. 😮 Getting my exercise inside.
For Nick: please raise your monitor on a stack of some books! Since he’s so tall having the monitor be so low it will encourage him to curl his shoulders down.

My husband and I had a portrait studio in our home for 31 years. It was from 1979 to 2010. We got up every single morning showered and got dressed as if we were going out to work. Even if I didn’t have a client that day I put makeup on and dressed as if I would have people in the studio. You just have to get into that habit. A great big giant :-)
