  • I purchase a Bluetti AC200P for more power and capacity. I did a battery capacity test and took it on a camping trip with a microwave. It worked great.

Thanks for the video. I just bought a AC200P and haven't used it. I charged it up and set it aside. After 4 days of being turned off the battery was down 2%. Not turned on and not plugged into anything. I heard the BMS is a big drain on these units......after I bought it.

Why do you like about it? Just think about getting it. Is it worth it?

The status of each cell is supposed to be seen in the BMS menu. That is the main reason for the BMS function. They must comply with what they advertise. Not having the information for each cell is more than enough to return the equipment. This is a quality issue !

@Huo Shing I bought the Bluetti AC200P with (3) 200 watts solar panels. As soon as I received the power unit I inspected it and noticed that the Bluetti that they sent me does not have the indication of the individual cells in the BMS (Battery Management System) menu. Given this situation, I immediately contacted the seller to notify them that the Bluetti AC200P they sent me did not have that function.
The seller informs me that if I accepted $ 50.00 in order to keep the equipment that was sent to me and I stated that I did not want the money that I would return the merchandise. Then the seller informs me that I have to pay for the return of the merchandise because they claim that there is no quality issue when in fact there is.
I keep the history of all my emails and those of the seller since the purchase was directly with Bluetti. This is obvious proof for Paypal.
The seller notifies me that the Bluetti AC200P they sent me is an improved version and that for this reason it does not have that function. I answered that I know which is the improved version of the AC200P and that is that the battery has greater capacity but it has nothing to do now with the BMS issue and that if they did not solve that problem for me then I would return it because the equipment I bought It is not what they advertise and because there is a quality issue involved. Everything about the BMS appears in the ad and you can see the voltage conditions in each cell. This was the reason why I bought the Bluetti AC200P model but upon receipt and inspection, this function does not appear when navigating on the touch screen in the BMS menu. Due to this I also had to contact Paypal to formally complain.
Those of us who know about the function of the BMS and as part of the maintenance of the cells is important and precisely that, having access and being able to see the status of each cell. That company must fix this and they must do a recall on all Bluetti AC200P that do not have that function. Already then it is up to the customer to return it or not, much less not to incur additional costs for merely an error on their part.

@@Silvermoonpr1 Got my AC200P about the same time. No where in the manual does it show the voltage of each cell. No where on the Bluetti site does it state this feature either. The only place we have seen it is with the early units or in youtube reviews. The newer units like ours does not have it. In short, the unit you got is exactly what Bluetti advertised.

@@johnwhitt8915 Take a look at the promotional video. It is there at the Bluetti site. A detailed information of the Bluetti AC200P is there including the function of the BMS.

@@Silvermoonpr1 Thanks, I hunted for it and did find where they have a video posted at BLUETTI by HOBOTECH from youtube showing the feature with the voltage of each cell. ua-cam.com/video/UeDguRi87ag/v-deo.html I did not see a Bluetti created promotional video. But still, they have the video posted showing the feature and thus their product should have that feature.

I have the ac200p I run my diesel heater. off the 12v 25amp plug I run the heater on high about 10.5 hours it only uses 16% of the battery in that 10.5 hour. so, if I needed to, I probably get a safe 5 days @ 10.5 hours a day without having to charge it. I don't think that's bad at all.
