Here's a tip:
Always have your Primary Colors ready:
(Red, Yellow and Blue,) and have Black and White, you can also have green and brown if you don't want to mix your own..

Another tip:
Have a Flat Bristle brush, Flat Sable brush, Liner brush, on hand you can do a full painting with just a couple of brushes..
Extra brushes to have on hand are:
Fan Brush
Filbert Brush
Angular Brush
Get at least 3 sizes in each brush, small, medium and large.

I went out and bought paints, canvasses etc because you made it look so easy. All paints are gone, as are the canvasses.....you have been doing this for a long time whereas I am a complete beginner. Nothing destroys confidence more than videos such as these. It is so familiar to you and second nature. I have wasted money and time.

This was lovely!! You have such a calm happy demeanor that makes me feel like I can try this :) I jut did some that were driving me crazy...but I was over thinking it. I have to remember to relax and have fun with it and remember, like you said, if it gets too crazy I can just go over it :) you remind me of the calm excitement of a Bob Ross type (i almost wrote Bob Villa😆🤣😊) but you're very encouraging and make it simple :)

Hmmmmm wonder where the video is of the thumbnail shot being painted. Totally different.
I know sorry about that, I did paint it like this, but when I did the video it turned out differently, I will do another video to show you how to make your clouds like the thumbnail...Thank you for your feedback...
For how long were you gone? And must the first layer still be wet when you come back?
You can let your first layer dry, leave it for about 15mins but is you want it to dry faster, blow dry it with a hair dryer, if it's still wet when you put on your layer of clouds it will just turn grey,...I hope that helped...
@@allisonprior It sure did. Thank you very much. I tried it with the white layer + the black and I found it did exactly what you just mentioned. I tap tap tapped and all turned grey. So the first white primer and the black must first be dry before tapping the clouds, yes :-)?

tap tap tap :) but didn´t worked for me. I would like to ask you because didn´t understand. you start painting the clouds once the canvas is dry or it has to be wet? and good tutorial, now I will follow your channel
If you tap do it gently that may help, the paint was wet when I added the clouds to help blend the colors, Glad you like the tutorial..and thank you for following my channel..
