In this video I will show you 3 Easy Steps to painting a MOUNTAIN with Acrylic Paint for beginners step by step instructions to help you learn to paint a mountain fast, you won't need a palette knife, all you need is a fan brush to get the same results, and squiggly lines will help you get the mountain shape.

Omg ,thank you so much Alison thank you thank you.i have watch hundreds of videos on mountains.And i still can’t make a decent mountain,until now.This video has been most helpful,you are a very excellent instructor.Now all i need to do is learn how to paint evergreen 🌲 trees.And can make a whole painting.Trees and mountains was holding me back,i couldn’t seem to make a painting that i liked and that would encourage me.

my mountains are huge and i didnt have a small fan brush ..my mountains dont look good..i started touching parts of it and ruined them ..i will keep practicing i was trying to do dark blue mountains with snow

With this lesson I'll now try to make mountains out of glass (mosaic project)...this might be a real challenge but your lesson gave me insight and a few tools to work with...yes! squiggly lines!

I just tried it and it turned out great. If you’re working on a smaller mountain though I feel that an Angle brush works better.😸

Thank you for making mountain painting easy! I noticed you are left handed in which your painting showed the light coming from the right. Since I am right-handed, I will find it easier to show the light coming from the left. Guess it doesn’t really matter.

Thank you for asking, I just used acrylic paint no extenders, only because it was a small painting, if you use a large canvas with big mountens you could use the extender, or my magic white recipe.here is the link to making your own.ua-cam.com/video/V8pW670xykU/v-deo.html
