- The Final Harley Benton Kit Guitar Build.
This is the DC Kit and its very good, probs the best out of all the kits I have built. This one is very special because it is going on a trip to different people to modify it.

I'm excited to see what is going to be done to this guitar. What mods would you like to see done to it?
Took me a minute because whenever it's the Dr. Squatch commercial, I have to watch the whole thing because of their pitchman. Best pitch guy ever.
Looks lovely and sounds GREAT too..... Can't wait to see all of the different stages it goes through.... please can we have plenty of videos and photos on people's channels and Discord also...... GREAT idea .... Thanks for filming and sharing ...... M&MX / Mark T X ♥
Awesome videos...you've convinced me to go down this rabbit hole!
Love the look of this one, I even kinda like the bare wood look out of the box! Really excited to see it develop as it gets upgraded!
Hopw to have you onboard with it
That's a beauty! Kinda suits you too. Great tones. Very impressed👍😁x
Ahh does it? Never been a fan of SGs but its growing on me :)
Thanks for this and even though dated it is helpful as I am new to this and looking to build a kit and like the DC style since it seems like it would have less issues. Might want to paint it but first build might just build it. Thanks again and like this so subscribed.
Oh man, I'm pretty nervous to do those thing 😎😀 it has to be very special! ☮️
Whatever you do it will be special.. and amazing :)
Ow yes he's enjoying that 😎
Soon he will come to the dark/SG side 😈
Lol I'm already there
...Not a "Gibson-type-Guy"(...born in '54!...yes,I'm a "Stat-Cat",for sure!!!),BUT, I am a "Brent Hutchinson" fan forever!!!...Whatever you choose to do with these "instruments" is 100% cool with me,and I can't wait until the "end-game" to see how it "all" comes out!!!...Peace,my Brother...
thank you so much! Peace till next Time x
I don't know why, but I didn't receive a notification about this one 😕. 2bikemike told me about it and of course I rushed over to see it. I'm going to be doing a CST-24 T kit very soon! Great job 👏.!
ahh the mysteries of UA-cam... Thanks for checking it out. The Cst kit I did had problems but still very good. Stay safe Brother x

You think this kit would fit other traditional SG hardware? I wanted to do a maestro vibrola with locking tuners and roller saddle bridge
Hey brent, awesome playing and great video! Im getting this kit it's looks awesome type sg copy. I know the wood is rengas and the neck is maple. How is the balence of the guitar? I also would like to put the front strap lock
On the body instead of the neck but not sure how to do it haha. Great vid dude. Peace
Thanks yeah the guitar overall is well balanced.
I built one of these a couple of months ago but used my own choice of hardware, wiring and pots, mine didn't come with the plastic 'gasket' that goes under the neck plate.
awesome.. These kits just beg to be modded. I cant wait to see how this one turns out ...
Awesome guitar légato at the start 10/10. The kit looks pretty cool too but I’m better at building bike ramps than guitars😂. How did u do the légato guitar playing I really want to learn?
Ill have to watch it back haha
What makes up the sound, Brent? Have you got your wah cocked, or is it something emulating that?
No it's just my usual tube screamer into the line 6 pod
Does the body wood have something like a varnish? Or it has no varnish at all?
It has a sealer on it
@@BrentHutchinson thanks. Do You think I can leave it as it comes? Just with the sealer?
Nice guitar and friend of the heavy rockers. When you think Gibson made the SG to replace the LP. How wrong they were and soon started production of the LP again. Nice quality kit. btw, do you have a link to the lady with the butter please. Asking for a friend....yeah right!
Lol
is it a telecaster
It is an S.G.
Nice project. I will follow it all the way. How can we follow what the other youtubers are doing to it.
It will be documented with videos I'll post updates and links to their channels as they post content.
Hmmmm butter 😎😎😎
Buttah roll!
Haha I knew you would like that.
@@BrentHutchinson taste is important with a lube
And you use Vaseline
Nuff said lol

Hi, the DC-Kit looks better as the CST24. LG Detlev
Yeah much better
Ohh i was looking at this kit the other day i might get one now I've been dying to try a Harley Benton kit after the last one i made from another company.
Another great vid! 👍
Yeah man this is a guden..and thanks
@@BrentHutchinson Good luck with it Brent looking forward to seeing the end result 🙂
sounds like a bolt on
Lars Ulrich on guitars?
Two things that come to mind when I view your video:
First, get a socket wrench or the proper sized nut driver for installing the tuners-those long nose pliers give the impression that you are a real novice and don’t know how to use the proper tools. They also leave scratches. Secondly, don’t use petroleum jelly as a screw lubricant as this will eventually leach into the wood and leave a grease spot as well as get on your fingers and spread to the surface of the guitar. You should use paraffin or a bar of soap to lubricate the threads. Ask a carpenter or furniture maker what they use.
false
sounds awful
LOL!
