- This is a walk around the construction of a 180,000 square foot Honda Dealership! The future of Schaumburg Honda Automobiles in Schaumburg Illinois will have 3 floors, 30 service bays, 2 showrooms and much much more! Thank You Schaumburg Honda for allowing me access to film. #Honda #construction #HondaProjason #schaumburg

All the dealers near me in the Orlando area have less than 10 cars on the lot. I hope they can fix production issues before this building is finished or it’s going to be very empty.
Perhaps the new model will be to have a full showroom inside, a few demonstrators outside, and a very empty lot with low inventory.
Its everywhere duval honda, lou sab honda, crown honda all of them have less cars
Can’t wait to see the final product!
Is honda going to start to build cars again?
The first generation Honda Civic.
Jason thanks so much for sharing this amazing tour of the New Honda dealership.
Hope they get enough cars to sell to stay in business...
I know right. I thought dealerships were downsizing.
Honda lifestyle
S500, S600, S800 Classic Nostalgic Vintage Hondas should be in the classic Honda area. 😉
Classic Hondas- I think of several. A 1st gen Civic CVCC, 1st or second gen Prelude, Gen 2 CRX, and a Del Sol. All small and not crazy expensive. Hopefully production will be almost back to normal by next year so they can fill up their lot :)
Eg hatch up their!!!
Dang.......that is massive. Very impressive!
i agree!
Man Jason I’ve been buying cars from Bob Rohrman (rest in peace) since 1997. I was just there back in June when they had the lot vandalized. I hope to meet u on ribbon cutting day🤛
Pauly Honda 4Life 🤘😂
Classic old Honda? Z Coupe (Z600), 1st gen Accord, and any Prelude.
i like that idea
This is the ultimate dealership I heard was going to be built, maybe ten years or so ago. Where I live(west coast of Canada) that is impossible now! I love Hondas but this will either be a huge success or a tremendous flop!!!
Only time will tell.
Gotta have that first gen odyssey up on display 🤣
👍👍
That’s gonna be awesome! Didn’t know you were in IL. Where in Schaumburg is this located?
There’s a 2 story one being built in okc
if this was a ford dealer i could under stand, but honda hasnt been selling cars. hope they can have enough customers
My Pick would be a vintage CRX or S2000.
That would be EPIC!
What is the existing Kia dealer building going to be used for?
Is it open yet
1st Comment! Let’s Go!
Still not open?
Unfortunately with Honda's current and most likely future inability to produce automobiles at any significant quantities, this dealership has massively over-sized it's facilities. If the current trends in production and sales continue it will be a long time before they even come close to the inventory that the facility is sized for.
1 St gen crx 86 87 si
Given how old the existing dealership is, and how long they've been telling people there is a new one coming, it's about &$#(*^# time.
Maybe my CRX could be featured there.
The real question is if the parking for parts will be as abysmal as it is now ;-)
Cool video
What is "A1" "B1" "high flow" service?
OIl, filter, coolant, that kind of stuff.
@@mausball that's what I thought. just want to know exactly what A1 and B1 are.
A1 is oil and filter change with tire rotation. B1 service includes an oil and filter change, a tire rotation, and the following:
Inspection of the front and rear brake pads and rotors
Parking brake adjustment
Inspection of the tie-rod ends, steering gearbox, and boots
Inspection of the suspension components
Inspection of the driveshaft boots
Inspection of the brake hoses and lines (including the antilock braking and vehicle stability assist systems)
Inspection of the exhaust system
Inspection of the fuel lines and connections
Inspection of all fluid levels and condition of fluids (brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, etc.)
@@mausball wow thanks for all the details! 🏆
To bad no cars to sell.
5:55 that outside area is probably for smokers.
What is the address?
If ya need a veteran tech/shop productivity manager I'm open to move
So it’s just a massive parking garage that has taken over 5 years to build. All future sales and service customers will be paying for this needless monstrosity
Ricer dealership
Such a waste. Just sell cars. You don't need a Taj Mahal to do it. I avoid big dealerships for this reason. I'm not paying for your extravagance and ego.
No different than all the digital gimmicks in new cars. People don't get it though. When you pay for service you are paying for that giant building.
