Driving a Honda S660 in Tennessee

- After a year of sitting on the museum's exhibit floor, teasing me, I finally got the S660 out on a bit of twisty road on a rare day off. The weather was supposed to be 64F and sunny, but this is middle Tennessee, and it's January on top of that. Still, take the top off, put it in sport mode, and crank up the iPod through the stereo and it's all good.
I hadn't been on this road in a few years, so I took it really easy and enjoyed a relaxing-yet-still-brisk pace. Even though I didn't push the car hard, I was really impressed with its handling, grip, and responsiveness. Another 30-40hp and this thing would be a crazy blast. It's great fun just like it is, though.
The audio is weird because UA-cam originally blocked this video in the U.S. due to the song playing through the car's radio (from my iPod). And no, my videos are not "monetized". Instead of trying another video host or deleting the audio altogether, I gave UA-cam's song removal software a try. It's in beta form, so it's not perfect. But you can't recognize (enjoy) the song any more.
But you CAN hear it on the band's official UA-cam channel, oddly. Fun song with a cool groove, and a funny video.

@Citizen Four That's why I'm loving what the more recent output from the Japanese manufacturers have been releasing...more "Driver Focused" cars that actually engage the driver. Honda and Toyota are going back to their roots and Mazda is making phenomenal cars now.
@@jwilson2793 Honda and Mazda have kept up with the enthusiasts wants for a few years now Miata’s and Civic Si/R are a lot of people’s go to. Its nice to see Toyota dipping their feet into the US market with the Supra but I can’t wait till Toyota pulls out a fully developed Toyota sports car for us. Wish we got the GR YARIS that thing is sick.

I’m curious as to how this car was imported and registered in the US.
It was imported through a museum version of Show and Display. It cannot be sold, it cannot be used as daily transportation, and it is limited to a certain amount of mileage per year.
@Citizen Four Sorry, but I don't know any more than that, as I don't handle that end of things.
@Citizen Four All I can suggest is start a museum, hire a broker/importer familiar with such importing S&D cars, and a good attorney probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.

how did you find the cvt to drive
This one is a 6-speed, but my N-ONE is a CVT. It's not bad, actually. Even has a sport mode and paddle shifters.
