"Sincerely, Me" from Dear Evan Hansen (By Tony Kulenovic, Kasimir MacDougall, and Max Banerjee)

A cover of the song "Sincerely, Me" from Dear Evan Hansen performed by Tony Kulenovic, Kasimir MacDougall, and Max Banerjee.
The instrumental track is not done by us and this is the only cover where we got an instrumental track from online since here we were mainly focusing on singing and filmography. This is a shot for shot remake of the "Sincerely, Me" number from the Dear Evan Hansen movie (2021). Edited by Tony Kulenovic.
We have been working on this cover for two years. Why? I'm not sure, since it took about 4-5 days to film it over the course of those two years. We filmed the first half of it two years ago and then just kind of put it off until now. I'm extremely proud of how this one turned out because we worked super hard on getting it to be accurate to the movie.
We had a lot of help from Arnon Intorn, Jonathan Dauphinee, Andika Sentosa Putra, and Kevin Jia with filming the shots, many of which were extremely difficult to do. Thank you all for your hard work and assistance with this project! Andika and Kevin managed to pull off the hardest shot of this video while not being able to hear anything due to the loudness of the go karts. Additionally, Arnon and Jonathan appear as extras in the school scenes at the start of the video and Arnon reappears as the librarian as well.
Also thanks to Max Banerjee, who "hates musicals" but still agreed to be in this and did a fantastic job with it. We had to do lots of the later shots very quickly and with a limited amount of time, but Max picked up the moves extremely quickly and we managed to pull it off.
There were also many shots done by Kasimir MacDougall and just a lot of hard work done by Kas in general. I wouldn't have been able to do this without him. Recording vocals, re-recording vocals, then re-re-recording vocals two years later. Filming at our old high school, getting the librarian to let us jump on the tables, reshooting the dance with the garbage collectors like twenty times, figuring out how to shoot the dolly zoom, travelling all the way to Abbotsford and making a game plan of how we were getting the go kart scene in one take, going to Brentwood mall and taking turns with a guy named "Big Daddy" on Pump It Up, and learning and teaching me every single dance in this video. Thank you so much Kas; this wouldn't be possible without your help.
And of course thanks to my dad who drove all the way to Abbotsford and back to get us home after we went to shoot there. It would've taken us over 3 hours and a whole lot of money otherwise.
As usual, I really hope you all enjoyed this video since I am extremely proud with how it turned out. I hope you all love it as much as I do.

I can’t wait for the uk tour of dear Evan Hansen finally returning and my mum has already bucked tickets so can’t wait for that. Also, I love your guys adaptation of it and I assumed that a lot of people forgot DEH but I’m soo glad it’s not and being recognised once more. Anyways, loved what you did here and you can tell it was taking inspo from the movie which I find amazing btw so keep it up.
