God damn, that Rottie is so precise when every single movement. He stops on a dime. Thats a badass fucking dog!
Peace, I really appreciate this follow up video on Luca. I had a 74lb working line Rottweiler, I called him my pitty in a rottweiler suit. He was a beast!
Luca is a gorgeous dog. Rottweilers are incredible dogs. To me, Luca's build reminds me more of large Pit Bull than a Belgian Malinois from what I see here. In terms of height and weight, he is more similar to the Belgian Malinois, but the structure of the dog (musculature, head shape, etc.) reminds me of a larger Pit Bull, sort of like Buddy in the video TRAINING DAY: AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIERS.
Bully* not a pitbull
@@daedae556 I hear what you are saying, but I think Bullies are a bit more muscular and exaggerated. Not all of them are that way, but I generally think bodybuilder when I imagine a Bully. Maybe Staffordshire would have been more accurate for me to say.
@@daedae556 I thought about correcting them as well but people just don’t know what a real APBT is. I just gave up😂
@@DeeDawg314 I feel u bro they’re everywhere 🤦🏾♂️
I think he means the drive and energy of a Malinois. The way Luca is working in the video looks like a Mali more than a typical Rottie
I love all dog sports, especially the protection based sports. My favourite dog is without a doubt the Rottweiler, I’ve owned 3 in my lifetime and I currently own a cross of a Rottweiler X Cane Corso . He’s 2 years old and is now adapting to training very well. When I got him at 5 months he was a untrained puppy that hadn’t ever seen a leash or collar. He was fearful and dangerously reactive towards people. It took me 5 days to get him to were I could sit with him & pet him without getting bitten. About 7 weeks after I got him I was involved in a car wreck which resulted in me breaking my neck. I was hospitalized for the next six weeks and it took me about eight months to where I could start walking any kind of distance again, which set my puppy back drastically in training and unfortunately he missed out on some very formative months in his life. But now he is really turning heads everywhere we go. We walk downtown where it is extremely busy with people and vehicles, he no longer needs to be leashed on our walks, even in the busy city centres. I take him to the grocery stores with me every week/ no leash, he wears a vest that says “Do Not Pet, I’m Working” and an e-collar which I rarely have to use anymore. I’m so proud of him he’s like my big linebacker that follows me everywhere. His name is Archie
He looks like he's having fun, look at that tail.
I’ve been subscribed for like forever bro! I love the protection sport vids, makes no difference to me which one (PSA, WDA, Street League, IGP, I love em all)
That's how it should be rotties out there having fun and training
Nice too see this update on Luca..This Rottweiler is an amazing example of how intelligent this breed is.He definitely has a unique body structure ,all his own.I have never seen a Rottweiler quite like him.
search for Django vom rottberg. it's similar structure
damm ... he does got high focus..
looks suuuppeerr athletic
i like it
Awwww what a cutie pie! Love when the dog sat and started wobbling around in excitement when it came time to do a command!
I love to watch his heal
Woow Luca is a beautiful stud 💪🤤
They really are mans best friend
Luca is adorable! That tail is wagging so he's having fun 😂
That dog moves like a pit ...crazy drive
Love the Rott video
Thanks Zeke for the video of my boy 💪🏼
Any time!
Nice looking Rottie bro! Who’s the breeder or did you produce him sir?
Wish people bred rottweilers more like this thin so damn heavy & big bone
Luca is a very special rottie. 80 lb male with that type of athleticism is pretty unique. Seems like very versatile dog. Strength, power, and temperament of a rottie with the athleticism of a pit bull. I have a 6 1/2 old rottie he’s 85 lbs now. Great dog. I would love to see more Rottweiler videos. Any type of videos. Just a day in the life of a Rottweiler trainer or in depth Rottweiler reviews.
Luca is amazing!! Great video!!
This dog is amazing glad you did an update on him. This was one of the first individual dogs that stood out to me on the channel. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a Rottweiler quite like him.
He's built how they're supposed to be. Rottweilers should be agile, athletic and powerful. Not slow, short muzzled blocks with breathing difficulties.
I wish u could do a video on one of the sport line rottwieler breeders that are built like this to really give idea of what it’s like owning a sport rotty
Yea He is without a doubt built different
Would love to see a video on the Adrk Rottweiler!!
Nice video!!
Good job 👏 👍 👌 🙌
Greased lightening
That's a good looking very nice athletic structure Rott. Reminds me of the first Razors edge bullies. Looks a lil funny with the tail but looks good. My favorite have always been pits, amstaffs, bullies and rotts.
Beautiful ❤️
Nice
Interesting
he's a stunner! i would love to see more patterdale terrier content :)
You should see about coming up to Gilroy for Street League in a couple of weeks, they are documenting the whole thing so idk how footage would work. Can’t wait to see Luca out there though.
I would love to see gaint schnauzer or caucasian ovcharka content
It's difficult to keep a Rottweiler trim. They have a tendency to get a bit thick as they age. Luca is one of the rare Rotti's that has been kept in fantastic shape. He also seems to have a higher energy level than most Rottweilers. It could be genetics, it could be his diet, it could be his workout regiment or it could be a combination of things. He works great and looks great. He almost looks hyper, I would love to see him when he is "switched off". Beautiful dog, congratulations.
No one is talking about how Luca is 7 years old!!
Have you done a video on Gull Terriers??
can you do a video about the persian mastiff? and hybrids
An update on Rochelle & SIG would be cool. Would be nice to see how they're doing
He looks younger then seven years old that amazing brutha
that's what maintaining a good weight does for a dog.
@@DogumentaryTV I totally agree I breed bandogs and I keep conditioned at 95 pounds
Is street league in Gilroy Ca?
Great Vid ! Although Luca is smaller than most he’s all Rottie in his demeanour
You should do a video with joseph Carter the mink man. He has done some interesting things with dogs
You already know if you ask what I wanna see I'm gonna say Beauceron!
I hope he does one on the briard
Nice to see a rottie that actually has drive and loves to work. May I ask who Lucas breeder is? Awesome dog
I believe this dog was bred in France.
Do a roscoe update.
Doberman sporting is really other level. But European ones specially. But i would really be interested is sport of mastiffs. Boerboel/kangal/tosa inu/ do they have what it takes?
Where did he get that dog from?
What I would like to see in your videos, is the anouncement of rottweiler events in Los Ángeles, so I can go and see them with my own eyes, because im a rottweiler fan, and for I have read and learned about the breed is that, i have NEVER seen a true real rottweiler in my life, just some bad examples of the breed, thank you.
All Glory To God In Jesus Name
I wish i loved my wife like this and that she was this obedient.
Dogo vids!
why is he so little?
I’ve been looking for a good Rottweiler. I won’t get one until early 2023. Have you heard of vom bustos hause rottweiler kennel?
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my wife and 4 year old son. Would getting a Rottweiler be a good idea? And if so what are some things I should be prepared for?
Only if you know a good breeder and are familiar with dogs. You have to tell the breeder honestly what you can do and what your abilities are with dogs. You do not want to get a Rottweiler from extremely dominant lines. Rottweilers can be wonderful dogs and they can definitely live in an apartment because they are not super high energy dogs like shepherds are. But you have to be a leader with firm boundaries okay obviously you love the dog and show them love but you have to have boundaries just like you will with a child
You should be fine, but some things to consider are that the dog will need a yard of some sort or to be able to be let out frequently. The dog will need 1.5-3 hours of exercise every single day. No days off. Socialize the dog with kids and other dogs early at 8 weeks old. Don’t let the dog get away doing bad behavior. Learn to correct the bad behavior early before the dog gets to 100 lbs. Lastly, don’t buy from a backyard breeder. That’s the recipe for a ticking time bomb of a dog. Those guys breed two dogs without knowing their temperament and the pups end up getting some of those genes. A good dog isn’t cheap. If you cheap out, you’ll end up with a dog with hip and elbow dysplasia and a nervy dog.
Rottweilers are AMAZING dogs. They are so loyal and would do anything for you family.
Before getting a dog, in this case the rottie, you have to look at the pros and cons.
Ex; Space. Do you have the space for him/her? Do you have a place to take him/her to go potty? Do you have time to train him? Are you finally stable to provide him/her all the supplies? There's more questions to ask yourself and go over it with your family. If you could answer yes to most of these, then a Rottweiler would add a great addition to your family.
Rottweiler are great dogs for the right people. Both, but especially males will push and test you ALOT while young and still into adulthood. They need to work and be mentally stimulated daily as well as physically. They can be hard work. Firm but fair works best and lots of love. They don't respond well to unfairness or aggression (not saying you, just in general) I'd advise finding a reputable breeder or a rottweiler club and go and ask lots of questions. Not the best breed for 1st time/inexperienced owners
Euro working line rott is best, different breed
My moms dog is half rottie and half blue heeler. She doesn't know when to stop, playing ball until she passes out if I dont stop.
80lbs for a boy? He’s a small boy isn’t he? He looks great though. My girls weighs more and she’s tiny
He keeps him at working weight. Pet weight he’s be around 90-95lbs. He’s just extremely fit
He’s an actual working dog. I would say that’s in a good range of weight given his exercise level compared to most dogs.
Are you breeding Luca ?
Nice to see him going 💪🏿
now lets get kari Lee back on!
