This mostly looks like, the same cast from Columbia shorts, ' Ed Brendel'. Christine McIntyre, and the dopey brother. Very good, slapstick comedy. But there's a line Ed says @08:30. "He took a 'slope', off to China". Back then (in vinacular) did slope, mean trip?? Or did he mean sloop?? 'Cause, the only the other way to take that, would be a derogative reference, to an Asian🤨⁉️ But also, we hear @09:09, Ed's blubbering of word pronunciation. Maybe, that's why🤔, hmmm??
Upload A pinch in time, Nervous shakedown and Honeymoon blues with Hugh Herbert, Rolling down in Reno, Microspook and Radio Romeo with Harry Von Zell, Two nuts in a rut, Ain’t love cuckoo, Hot water, Wedding belle, and He’s in again with Schilling and Lane sometime.
I love these shorts. Thanks azalean for posting them.
Emil is an American comedy treasure for all time. Christine is in this also!!!
Jean Willes and Christine McLntyre !!! Woo! Woo! Woo!
10:50 Excellent pratfall by Emil Sitka!
Nice to see Sitka doing a relatively straight role, and much bigger than usual.
That was SO FUNNY! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥3
The supporting actors were contract players for Columbia Pictures and were often seen in Three Stooges short subjects.
Hope you can find more Harry Von Zell shorts
I'm only missing two shorts...RADIO RIOT and MICROSPOOK.
YAY!!!!! Thanks for being active again, Shorts Department! 😀
I love Von Zell
Harry goes to Benton City. In the Three Stooges short "Brideless Groom" (1947), Emil Sitka plays a Justice of the Peace named J. M. Benton.
Hope you find more Andy Clyde & Harry Vin Zell Columbia 2-reel Comedy shorts and more non-3 stooges shorts please!

Also more Hugh Herbert, Walter Catlett, Sterling Holloway, Vera Vague and Billy Gilbert.

It's been six months since I last posted, asking for the channel owner to load up more Columbia shorts. WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?!? 😐😐😐😐😐
I just haven't uploaded anything lately. Not intentionally...just work and life slowin' down the uploading adventures of late...

Emil Sitkawas slated to replace Larry Fine after Larry had a stroke
Me and my dad would also like to see more non 3 Stooges Columbia comedy classics.
9:46 he's a what? "He's a whoop type all right"?
Pretty sure he says "He's a wolf-type, alright"
Columbia would let anyone make a film, even Joe Derita.
Hey Shorts Department...STOP BEING INACTIVE AND UPLOAD MORE COLUMBIA SHORTS!!!!!
Yeah my dad and I have been waiting for a very long time now to see more Columbia shorts.
Kathleen McIntyre ✔️
Seems like the script was intended for Shemp Howard...
Three Stooges without the Three Stooges. It's not awful.
