I look forward to seeing them, that’s awesome! My Grandma, Wally, and their parents were early Vaudeville actors as well. Parents were the original Maggie and Jiggs.
@@Thorrre66665 they aren't transferred yet. Transferring costs a lot of money (not to mention the cost of the film prints themselves). I've obtained 2 more since that post (HEEBIE GEE-GEES and PARLOR BEDROOM AND WRATH). I now only need approx. 70 of the 526 two-reelers made by Columbia (that total does include the films of The Three Stooges).
More silliness from the Columbia shorts department. They had a stable of stunning starlets looking for their big break. Few got one, but it was work, they made a few dollars, and got lunch at the studio commissary.
To TheShortsDepartment: will you please place the year of the shorts in question? It would nice to know when these films came out since they are obscure to begin with. 😁
I agree. IMDB says this was a 1952 film. Eddie was losing his looks and the writing is far from inspired. I might be more receptive if I had a few cups of that punch.
Another Jules white gem. What a pro!
Wally was my Grandma’s brother, definitely slapstick comedy!
Fantastic! I recently found prints of 3 more Wally and Eddie Columbia's: DOGGIE IN THE BEDROOM, FUN ON THE RUN and STROP LOOK AND LISTEN.

@@TheShortsDepartment Cool why didn’t you uploading it on your UA-cam channel

@@TheShortsDepartmentI understand man but just post some shorts you have and don’t cost money anymore, please
Wonderful slapstick 👍❤️

Funny lobster bite to the rear of woman, 8.20. Thanks for upload
Is that Diana Darrin who got her rear end bitten by the lobster ?

Same opening music as the Shemp Howard shorts.
I would call this "Slappily Married"!
Dumb
How strange. Opens with 1950’s people doing jazz age music and dancing from 30 years ago. What they must have remembered from when they were kids.
