What Super Hero would you like to see in Unmatched!?
I am really looking forward to Black Panther and Ms Marvel coming later this year. I mean they may as well just take all my monies with these Marvel sets
Nightcrawler. He can always move anywhere in his given area. Would be pretty thematic
X-men set would be cool as long as we are in the Marvel realm. Maybe a giant map to do some team sets would be cool - I'd take Ninja Turtles vs Thundercats any day.

I love how the very first move is the card "where's my money" followed by the card "get paid".
I'm legitimately impressed that they keep coming up with new characters that manage to simultaneously 1) feel fresh, 2) feel thematic to the character, and 3) not succumb to power creep.
It's super impressive! It must be such a big challenge but I appreciate their commitment to keeping characters accessible while also mining new ideas
Nick, don't feel bad about not using the food tray to keep yourself alive at the end of the first match; you wouldn't have been able to use it anyway. It can only be used when you play a combat card, to add +1 to the value of the card you played. It can't be used as a 1 defense with no card.
Also one thing you guys can do for the discard a random card is shuffle what you have in your hand, put them out facing down and the other person chooses one of the cards
Great playthrough! 13:47 Mike didn't need to take the 2 damage. Konshu adds +2 to all attacks AND only takes damage from combat. Mike could have drawn the cards without taking 2 damage, because that 2 damage is not combat damage.
And 22:24 wiglaf should also take a damage, because the item says 'each fighter', not 'each opposing fighter'.
Fun fact: If both players were to die on the same turn, whomever's turn it is wins. So if you played Blaze of Glory and did 5 damage, killing both of you, Ghostrider wins. I won this same exact way as GR against Beowulf. It's a truly *glorious* way to go out.

Btw Luke cage gained a action on the first scheme so he should of had one more action, Great video guys keep it up!

MOON KNIGHT IS SO DOPE. This set is easily one of my faves already. Also the Hell's Kitchen set is crazy!

You asked for Bob Ross...who can we pit him against? Mr. Rogers? Mr. Feeny? Why am I stuck with Misters from this TV era?
Those would definitely be what I would gravitate toward. The first thought is of course Mr. Rogers but actually I think it'd be traumatizing a bit to see him swinging punches and bloodying up characters so maybe someone else. I can get down with Feeny fighting though
as khonshu you could avoid taking damage to draw 2 cards since he only takes combat damage

Very interested to see a Marvel version of a game I've often almost bought. What stops me is the worry a skirmish game comes down to 2 players standing toe-to-toe just hitting each other until one dies (dull, no fun) and it not working with 3 players, despite saying it does. Or 2 players pick on 1 in that case. Still to be convinced I'm afraid.
Each character plays super differently, so there's plenty reason to try it out. Id say if you want a good variety battles of legends volume 2 is the most variety in playstyles

The newest sets have officially added rules for 3 that balances it at the beginning to reduce any imbalance based on how the maps are setup. Also 2v2 is great as well
