Favourite new to me game of 2022 would have to be Rajas of the Ganges! That game is chefs kiss!
Best of 2022 was John Company 2nd edition. Love all the great updates to an already great game.

New to me: Ark Nova
Old to me: Robinson Crusoe (still my no 1 game ever)
Love RC! But we use the treasure chest expansion helps!

Wonderlands war is definitely my #1 game for 2022. The art, the production, the game play!!! What’s not to love!

I don’t use the term often but Dice Throne is a “Beer & Pretzel” type of game. It is light and whimsical and if you feel your match had too much luck….go again because matches are quick and snappy.
Favourite new to me games are Lacrimosa and Come Together 🙂

Played Anno 1800, Mice & Mystics and 51st State a lot in 2022 and still today
Weird. I hated Twilight Inscription so much that I put the game and the neoprene playmat in the kitchen trash can. It was so bad that I didn’t want anyone else to be exposed to it. Love Tiny Epic Galaxies tho.
Great video gents. I watched it in chunks. My favorite new to me game and my currrent favorite game of all time is Oathsworn: Into the Deepwood. I also really enjoyed Ark Nova and Massive Darkness 2 which were new to me as well.

My favorite new to me game of 2022 was Dune Imperium. In 2022, after a few plays with The Norwegians expansion, A Feast for Odin took the throne from Terraforming Mars as my favorite game overall.
Favorite game of year is Parks, Destines, Barenpark, CoraQuest, Ghost fightin Treasure Hunters, New York 1901, Dodo riding dinos, ticket to ride Europe, ink rails, love letter infinity gauntlet,
Wingspan, Stella, Rhino Hero, Ice cool, King Toyko, King Dimono, and Flamecraft

I totally agree with Cat in the Box and Radlands. They were both a couple of games that just kind of missed for us. I just played Cat in the Box this week and it was a huge dud for our group of 5. It does seem like it favors getting a good hand of high numbers and trying to take 4 tricks. Radlands is beautiful but I just didn't get it. You're right. It didn't feel very battle-y and honestly just kind of boring.

I definitely would have added fantasy realms, coup or love letter. So much game in very little space. It would definitely be interesting if you could be creative by reusing game components (ex. Coup coins as love letter win tokens). I can't wait to see jamie fit 15 button shy games in her box haha
Played Glen More 2 again recently and I’m still not fully sold on the character board… it just seems like it adds so much more bonuses and scoring options you have to be cognizant of (because you can go to basically ANY space on the board if you have enough coins). Maybe I just need to play it some more, (haha) but the OG small box game is still hard to beat I think.
Heat: Pedal to the Metal was my favorite game in 2022. It really captures the feel of racing. I also love when a solo AI opponent is easy to use, yet very challenging to beat. I don't think I would ever play without 6 cars no matter what the actual player count is for the game.
We’ve heard many people say the same about the AI cars. Can’t wait to get that one

How is viticulture world at 2 player?
Really really hard, spouse and I completed the first scenario easily as it gives you a lot of freebie's. Scenario two is another thing all together though, 4 attempts in and still have not completed it. We are not Viticulture pro's though. I would say if you like Viticulture, there really is no way you wont enjoy World. Worst thing about it to me is the dang hats, they just wont stay on >.
They scale it slightly in terms of the requirement to win but I think it might be better at 3

I like Viticulture more then I expected to. I also don’t like co-op that much. Would I like the World expansion??
I’m not sure honestly. Maybe? Because I’m viticulture world you still have to get to 25 points yourself so in a way you’re playing your own game and then you’re looking for ways to help each other each reach Your goals

Just generally? For us, most games. For area control type things we’d default to smallworld

58:35 did you guys play Bora Bora right? If you put a six on a spot then everyone with a 5 or lower can still go there. But if a 1 is placed, then no one can go there. Bummer you didn’t like it, I love the game.
I'm sure that's how we played I was just misremembering and maybe I just need to play again before my final verdict is levied
