Sonic Megamix is fascinating to me, as there’s actually a Mega CD version. Apparently, they pushed the Mega Drive hardware to its limit, and were going to move the development over to the Mega CD, but the only Mega CD build I’ve found is an experimental build from 2008, and I think the development is pretty much dead.
Oh my god I just realised that when you said “And he (Froggy) got an emerald” you meant that he won it in the special stage. That’s hilarious. I’ve seen this like 10 times but I only just realised it.
I actually just got my mum’s old Sonic 1 cart going on her old Mega Drive. It’s so much fun. I honestly never expected it to be this good. Even at 50hz, it’s really fun. I’ve never actually played it on original hardware before.
This was interesting. Glad to see AntDude make an appearance too, but seeing Nash from Radio Dead Air made my day. I knew you were with Blistered Thumbs for a moment before they defuncted, but glad to know you kept your friendships with some of the Channel Awesome crew.
