Have a good weekend Tim. Great to see your dad driving like a Boss !
Good to see Mr. Sam out there showing everyone how it is done!
That loader has got some serious swing power!
Love the loading/logging videos. Wish I was young and healthy, I'd be back doing it Monday morning.
Thanks. ....13
Yeah, your daddy is a bad to the bone. You can not beat experience. I'm glad y'all got some rain . We did too . Thanks for sharing this video!
good video tim hope you have a good weekend too
Even though Im a farmer and love my job, this would be the second greatest job in the world. Awesome video!
Keep up the good work. Enjoy watching
+hanratty450 thank you
great video as always. good operators make it look so easy.
We had a Log Hauler with a straight truck and loader pulling a 25' pup get all mad about our driveway lay out. I told him I set it up that way to tell the Men from the Boys.
After that he refused to haul for us ;) Heck we get 300" road trucks with 53' spread axles in and out without backing up.
Nice job Tim..That rain will turn into ice by the time it hit's
me here in Michigan..Oh great ..lol Be Safe everybody..
Cynthia Herr I'm in Ludington. I'm hoping for no more ice here for awhile.
Joe Lee Me too friend 👍
I'm in Houghton Lk..Hey neighbor..lol
Joe Lee I'm across the pond from you in Manitowoc my back yard is a ice rink.
T Thorne aw man. Just a boat ride away lol. I haven't taken the Badger yet. May this summer.
glad to see you can still work bud we haven't done anything since Monday it has rained every day here
Pros and cons of logging : good pay, home every day, challenging especially in the rain, safe double bunk trailers. Cons: rain out days, sawmills backed up and they put you on quota so you can't haul as many loads, too muddy and you can't work, pole trailers suck but more convenient but they still suck because they offtrack too much and you have to have a winch line to fold it up D.O.T giving out expensive as$ overweight tickets oh the thing i hate most is when you get to the mill and you are overweight the'll send you off. Overall I still love it
Thank-you for the memories.
You guys play in the mud and get paid to do it, great video.Stay safe out there.
you just can not beat old school. they maybe old dogs but they can and will teach you new things
I couldn't agree more regarding drivers. you wonder how some actually get the truck anywhere near the right place. Some don't !
y'all have a good weekend down there Tim. Later tater!
My grandpa logged with mules skidding logs onto an old bobtail bolster type bed that you had to unlatch the standers from beneath the load ,to unload ,(dangerous ) My Daddy was born into it as well .the days of the old long pole winch trucks with hoists made from truck rear ends ,the old bow bar heavy as hell chainsaws , , I told myself when I was a boy ,that Id never work in the woods like my Dad and GrandPa , hard damn work , but I was later put into a driving job hauling logs and had tto retract that idea . The woods can be a very peaceful place at 4am waiting for the rest of the crew to get there , building a fire to toast your buns and coffee .I was wrong about working in the woods but then it was nothing like the old days and was more like a office job in comparison to those man killer days .I admit hauling logs aint real timber work , especially saw hands and skidder drivers etc . but you still were part of the crew and it driving carries it's own set of risks , some kind of scarey /adrenlin fueled others funny others embarrassing but the smell of pine rosin and diesel ....what a perfect comment ,it can be addictive
I am jealous you guys get to play in the dirt and muck. And here I am just pushing snow loading snow and hauling snow.
Did I mention snow?
keep up the good work on here and the job
Good Stuff Tim
You run that loader so good I think you could do it with you eyes closed.
Aww. Good video. Dad messed up just like the first driver.
+Tommy Scruggs I never touched dads trailer when he was backing in.
just alittle rain sure make the clay slick !!!
Do you guys load year round or is it seasonal?
great informative video
I would say your Dad has done that a time or two. Hard to beat experience. Later tater
Just wondering, giving average conditions, about how many acres can you guys cover in a years time ?
I Like your Videos!!! Huntsauce-Cundiff Trucking, Inc. Wirtz, VA.
Thank you Bryan.
cotontop3 I shared this video on my FB page!
A stupid question to ask, but do the truck drivers secure their loads before going on the highways? Thanks, love the videos.
+Darrel S they get away from me to a safe place and bind the load.
Informative===Thanks!
I think you were right about the bridge I watched all of chiggers videos again that ive seen and I didn't find anything so it must have been one of your videos
Great job. Drivem MR. Sam
that is the difference between some one who knows how to do it and some one who does not
Hey brother on a good day how many loads do you load out?
Do you cut the logs that hang over off the trailer
man you have a cool and fun job i wood love to work with you
Lester pushed a log right through the back window one snowy morning, with the heel. Next thing I know, I'm talking to a log!!!
Why no tire chains
Nice smooth operation. Hard to be sure but sometimes it looked a bit like there was some wheelspin on the trailer wheels. Are they driven hydraulically or something?
Where y'all out of? I heard you talking about millport and Hankins.. I haul there myself
+Eric Goodson columbus
Ok I work for Weyerhaeuser also I drive for Hardin out of Bruce!!

I now a guy that had site dump the where in development they stock piling loam and he could go further up the hill loaded the loam with bald tires then the truck with good tires
