LOGGING TRUCKS #18 -- JF LOGGING: Kenworth T800 & Peterbilt 367H. Cummins Power

- Logging Trucks #18 captures a few Jed Fryer Logging trucks hauling through the North Okanagan during the spring/summer of 2016. Some of the JFL trucks featured in this video have sold since the filming of this video.
I wish there was less four-wheeler traffic on the roadways along with fewer clouds in the sky during filming - it is what it is. It was the first summer in 20 years that solid-blue, sunny skies did not display brightly day after day after day.
I hope other trucking enthusiasts enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed filming it.
Thank you for watching!
every now and then I get the pleasure of driving past or seeing some of the JF Logging trucks, sexy trucks and real work horses, I love seeing someone use their truck even though they do it up a bit to make it pop and stand out.
That Blacked out Peterbilt 367H is literally perfect! 🔥💀Looks menacing on the streets!
I certainly agree! Love menacing lookin’ trucks. Especially log trucks! Beastly!😎🙏🙏
a brilliant video with all that power and looking like they had more power than required a big thumbs up for this great video
A couple of bad ass actors there. Gimme more !! thanks !!
Not a driver, I'm just here cause I dig the big trucks! Bad ass Pete man!! That kw nice as hell too!
I am not a driver, either! I'm just a fan of big rigs who enjoys capturing them on film! There are some very cool looking trucks in my videos. However, the majority of trucks are just your basic off the lot trucks that roll down the road to make money. I thank you for watching the video! Your viewership is appreciated!
I love the way the front tires look on heavy haul trucks
They do look cool! They're benifial -- wide steering tires allow for greater payloads. Thanks for watching.
@@coolbigrigs I guess it help with floatation too they look twice the width of a highway hauler front tire!
Big power
Nice set-up t800 workhorse lol
Mountain Trucking is a lifestyle..
Stay safe
It indeed is a nice rig! Last year it went to a new owner. It's appearance changed! Still looks somewhat blacked out. Definitely an icon truck in the logging community. Thanks for watching! I appreciate the viewership! You stay safe out there too!
@@coolbigrigs That Black on Black pete looks straight out of Mad Max
Unit 22 is by far the badest looking log truck I've ever seen, nice work
As nice as it was Unit 22 was sold in the fall of 2016. It's icon look changed. Some blackened features were removed. The new unit 22 is a brand new Kdub W900. Very sweet looking, too.
CR250R40 oh ok, have you made any videos of it yet
@@coolbigrigs what's kdub stands for....
@@walidcurious6922 Kdub is slang for Kenworth.👍👌
Love these custom black rigs, beast of the bush
i like the peterbilt, it looks mean as hell
I sure does have a menacing look! Very cool! Thanks for watching!
Very true, but honestly I could live with either one of those beast. Petes & Kdubs are serious trucks!
@@ccth22 what's a kdub and thanks....
I liked Pete in this video rice rigs although wished it was a 567 with the set back front axle
Unit 22 looks mean as hell
Love the trucks! But why aren't the logs strapped down??
Hey Jesse, thanks for watching the videos. It only appears the logs are being transported without securement. There are two 3/8” galvanized cables 24’ long securing (wrapping) each bundle of logs. Wrappers are somewhat difficult to spot when the loaded trucks are in motion. I appreciate your viewership. Thanks again for watching.🙏👍
Kenworth T800 is beautiful 👍 i'love
It surely is a nice looking truck! Thanks for watching!
3:33-3:54 best part of this video in my opinion

Can't beat a T-800 for working.
I love the shot gun sound. Friggin awesome!
And i don't.
Yeah, it’s pretty stupid.
love the KN
Pete looks cool
It was an eye catcher. It looks different today -- no longer totally blacked out!
that black pete/kenworth has an nice ISX cummins engine in it
that black pete sounds like its straight piped, my favorite sounding engine, followed by caterpillar and 60 series
Nice and easy
Very unique KW and Pete! You think about filming this truck in forest?
I would absolutely love to film up in the forest. But I am not physically able to do it. I'm limited to filming only in the city. I am located far away from where the trucks enter the highway from the forest, too. So "city filming" it is. Lol. I'm sorry for that! Glad you're liking the video. Thanks again for watching!
I just wonder ))) In city nice too! Maybe someday you go to trip with those trackers.
Has unit 22 dpf an Def been deleted sounds mean as hell 😎
Nice rig
Nacho has a bad ass Pete. Too bad our fleet trucks are all white kenworths and sterlings.
Awesome video, Of a fuckin totally awesome truck..585 on their computer terminal, then they showed the torque curve ! it would detonate most good 46's (= bulletproof 46-48 rear ends . muito bom vídeo
Thanks for sharing, cool details on that iron, plus the configurations some don't get to see.
Are those tridems all drive axels??
Yes, all three rear truck axles are drive axles. Here in British Columbia (and other parts of Canada) the regulations for truck weight and dimensions works out that tridem-drive is the way to go. It's either tridem drive or tandem with a jeep. Truck with jeep also meet the weight requirements mandated by the government when it comes to logging and heavy-haul lowbed trailers. There are no drop axles here. Those running tandem drive axles use a single axle jeep, tandem jeep (Or in lowbed requirements a tridem jeep) to meet the requirements for dimension and weight. Every part of the world has its own outlook on weight dimensions. This is what we're given. LOL. Thanks for watching the video!
Thanks for the info, they are some nice rides. So what are you guys allowed for max kg's on the tridems?? And what can you gross out at??
@@dwortss 24,000kg on a tridem group. 65,500kg and everything over is the penalty. So a 65,800 load only pays as a 65,200
Are these trucks local to your town? Jed has some awesome log trucks
All my videos are filmed in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. During the summer of 2016, Jed Fryer trucks hauled through the city for four months. Haven't seen any JF trucks since. Thanks for watching the video!
Nice equipment what grossweight are on whit 3 piles?
Sorry for the delayed reply. Gross weight of this particular logging truck configuration, here in British Columbia, is 63,500 KG or 140,000 Lbs. Thanks for watching the video!
T-800 LOOKS LIKE IT COULD DRIVE UP EVEREST AND NOT BREAK A SWEAT and the Pete just because it could . There is just something about a well speced logging truck that gives me a hard on. Weird ? Maybe
Is that 3 axle a stock or a custom one thanks....
Unit 22 Peterbilt and all tri-drive tractors made for Canadian roadways are production built from the factory. All three axles must be powered. No tag or lift axles allowed. Same with tandem drive. Both axles must be connected to a power source. Thanks for watching.
@@coolbigrigs thank you so much...
Anyone know what model pete that is?
This Peterbilt is a 367H (H for High Hood) Thanks for watching.
Can that H hood be added to a regular hood 367?
Не забудьте свернуть на трассу 88)
.
Peterbilt that's what county is it where do you buy truck at
These trucks are filmed in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. This style/model of Peterbilt can be purchased used from any used truck business selling one. YOU have to do the extra work to make it look this cool. They don't come this way. Thanks for watching
Where's Nacho
Unit 1000's featured in movie 17 and 19. Thanks for watching.

It’s unfortunate passing traffic disrupted the audio of the DEF delete gearing up!👍
Too bad theirs no money in this industry anymore.
Time certainly have changed for the worst! Sad!
