First, you need to instal GIT on your system - follow the instructions here docs.darktable.org/lua/stable/lua.scripts.manual/installation/ - it's so simple I forgot the step in the excitement of making this video!
Good deed, Andy. It works fine here with the following 3 editors: Affinity Photo 2, old Photoshop CS5 and PhotoLab 6. I had a problem with the strange positioning of AF2 on my Win10 PC - and others have had the same problem since AFver2 was removed from Program Files and placed as a Microsoft app (the current weird position can be found with Task Manager - have AF2 running, then Alt-Ctrl-Del and expand the Affinity entry - right click on the child entry and select Open file location (this path may produce an error when used from Darktable - therefore the bat file as follows:). The solution was to create a bat file with the following 2 lines: [start affinityphoto2.exe %1 (new line) exit] and call this bat file from the LUA Options panel in Darktable Preferences. Not my solution, I found it in the affinity support forum. My bat AffinityPhoto2 is placed on the desktop.
