I just started using RawTherapee today. This was a good intro to the GUI. One thing I can't figure out: how do you complete an action that you've chosen? For example, I've selected a crop size for an image. There's no "accept" button, or any kind of finish-the-action-specified kind of button. Hitting return does nothing. Shift+Return does nothing. Clues? Something obvious I'm overlooking? Thank you.
Crop and you're done. It might be a bit confusing if you can still see the cropped area. You might have to go in to Preferences and select a solid color instead of transparency. You can always download the cropped image, then open it up in another program to verify that it is cropped. It's there; you just might not be seeing it. Thanks for watching.
I don't have one. It would be really nice if the two programs communicated with one another like that. I have resorted to only flagging/ranking RAW photos in RawTherapee when culling. In digiKam, I have a color label system for my jpeg's so I can keep track of where to send them. It's not perfect, but it works for me. Also, RT has a decent preview tool on the right side 'Inspect' tab, so I've been incorporating that into my workflow as well. Thanks for watching and asking the question.
Hi Karl, great question. I don't see an option to print from within RawTherapee, and I'm not seeing it on their RawPedia site either. I'm guessing the answer is no, but the people at discuss.pixls.us might have better information for you. Thanks for checking in.
I know that the neutral preset will change the look of the image before I edit. Why am I also seeing a bunch of grain added when I go to open the photo in the editor? The grain shows up on the filmstrip thumbnail and on the editing field. How do i prevent/correct Raw therapee from adding all the extra grain and noise.
You might go over to discuss.pixls.us and ask there. They have some helpful folks who might be able to answer better than I can. Thanks for checking in.

@@FOSSedits Thank you very much. I appreciate the instructions.
After editing a raw file, can you copy those settings and apply to another or multiple raw images. Thanks.
Yes, just copy and paste from the upper right hand section of RawTherapee.
That's great. I've downloaded it now. Thanks! @@RickScheibner
Realy helpfull! Thanks1
Glad to hear it, thanks for watching!
Hi, how do I make the History section bigger? If I grab it, it moves the bigger Snapshot section and hides the History section completely.
It would be nice if there were some pop-out options in RT. As it is, we just have the little scroll wheel to move it up and down. Thanks for watching.
Thank you and forgive me I'm new here...
The image was saved with full border showing it was cropped. How do you save cropped area only?
I'd have to see an example of what you mean. When you download, RT should only include your intended crop.
It appears that photos that are flagged in Digikam do not recognised by RT. What is your workaround solution?

Can you export all images to a single pdf file like LR does?
I don't think RT has that option.
Hi, Can you print stright from RawTherapee , or do i have to go someware else to print.?
