At 24:51 I might be giving you a bit of incorrect info! The main curve relates to fine detail on the left and coarse detail on the right. I'll be covering this in detail in another video shortly.
Awesome! I'm loving ART and your videos help tremendously. I'm glad to see that these videos are on UA-cam and will hopefully over time become a full playlist of all the important ART features. As of now the only full playlist that I'm aware of is by carafife and those are in French.
Just FYI -- The current Windows build for a couple of months maybe has bundled the full CTL scripts collection. My 1.24 (1.23?) build has about 30 CTL scripts shown on the Mode list by default. There's no longer any need to explicitly install the scripts. I think the Linux build is the same, but of course the Mac build is obviously different. Color similarity masks are awesome -- I'm finding I really miss ART's CS mask UI when I use Affinity Photo and other tools. I often build a CS mask as closely as I can and then take care of exception areas with a Brush mask (to either add to, or delete from, the CA mask). I'm glad you're going through ART -- It's nice to either confirm and / or correct what I'm doing.
@@AndyAstbury yeah, the documentation is less than comprehensive, at least for the post-RT fork / ART-specific topics, especially CTL scripts. I tried to make a small dent in that shortfall with the doc I wrote a ~year ago but it was mostly just a compilation of other information (and still contains gaps). And that was before CTL scripts were introduced.
@@AndyAstbury well, that's weird. I replied earlier today with a link to the folder but that reply is now gone. I guess UA-cam doesn't like links in replies (I've had that happen before). Anyway -- Yes, it's on the ART wiki, under the Documentation section. It's called the ART Reference (if I recall). It's not deep and there are gaps. I hoped it would become a living document, fleshed out by others more experienced than I. But so far that's not happened. But there's some info in it, including snippets from Alberto and an explanation of the Color Similarity mask UI.
Hello Andy!... unfortunately the CTL Tone Curves script does not work for me... The other scripts are working... Do you know any solution?... The program is running on Win11 and the ART version is 1.21.3 / Thank you so much!
Hello Andy!... I was finally able to solve it from the PIXLS forum. They provided me with Version ART 1.24 and the CTL scripts work well. Even the Tone Curves. Thank you very much for your Tutorials.👍
I downloaded Alberto's CTL scripts, and loaded a "tonecurve script" into ART. But I don't see a Curve adjustment tool under LUT file. What happened to my ART?
We can't see what's wrong here in UA-cam comments. For ease, you would be best ask the question over on the ART forum discuss.pixls.us/c/software/art/36

Great! Thanks for making the video. Thanks also, Alberto.

Glad you like the vids Mike. I tried watching his vids with autotranslate on; can't cope with it!
I was about to message you Andy and ask if anything else was in the pipeline concerning Art and then this popped up!
Brilliant, thank you.
This is so awesome!
Cheers!
Thanks very much Andy.
Very helpfull

The mac build comes with them too, as I said in the vid - but I took them out so that my ART matched the online docs!

Is that doc all tied in with the wiki thing Len, or is it separated somewhere; I'd like to see it.

tonecurve.ctl ?
Make sure that you point to the saved CTL script folder in preferences>Image Processing>CLUT Directory.
@@AndyAstbury Yes!
