Secret and proprietary??? Flash powder (of many different colors even) is something which anyone with little or basic knowledge can make at home (although perhaps not legally)... and flash powder, if made correctly, will always create a flash explosion with any impact or mild pressure because it is always reliable if done correctly. I don't know how anyone can patent something that is probably just a basic or slightly tuned flash powder formula and even if you do and you have, the Chinese will tear one open and make it their own if someone there decides to do so without any legal ramifications and they will sell it on the US market and no one will put them under an embargo, fine them or prosecute them legally. They shouldn't even speak of their "secret" process... it just probably makes some unscrupulous Chinese business more likely to copy it... and China is a master patent infringer and fireworks expert and this Firebird guy is naive to taunt everyone with his so called "secret" formula.
