Don't be traumatized. Trust me, this has happened to more transit workers than you can imagine. I know co-workers here in NYC transit, Chicago Transit, Washington D.C. Metro that have experienced similar. The thing is that most of us don't just roll up to a co-worker and say, "Hey Metro, guess what happened on my last trip, a guy made a play for me." We just don't do that. At least you had the advance warning of the dude staring at you before. Oftentimes when this happens, it's comes without warning. Don't let it pull your spirit down. Move on, the same way you would do with those people who are just disgruntled and complaining about everything. But thanks for sharing.
That’s peak bro. And very awkward 🤦🏾♂️ These are strange times we’re living in. There’s something in the water 😂 I used to drive buses for stagecoach a few years back too funnily enough. I was at Plumstead Garage doing 53 and 472 and to avoid people staring, I would actually move the interior mirror so that you couldn’t see the drivers cab 😂 And at night I would block out the cab light in the ceiling so you couldn’t see my face as ppl also would stare too much so I know the struggle.
@@Jbenzo_22yes I did, I hated them 😂 I found the braking wasn’t responsive enough. They are fast though. They rattled a lot too. My favourite buses were the enviro hybrid 400s, so smooth, light steering, great suspension, and make a beautiful sound 😮💨especially the whistling sound like an aircraft when slowing down. 😂
@@RennoHundredyeah, give it a try. I positioned the mirror in such a way that I could just about see when passengers get off but where they could only see the corner of my head. 😂
