Great video Renno, I remember when the Tridents ran on the 473, they were lovely! It's sad that tridents are now disappearing from the rest of Stagecoach's operations. Stagecoach Midlands still have a few left with most of them found in Stratford upon Avon. Northampton is now down to two Tridents (compared to this time last year when it still had over 20 of them!)

@@will_n775 the 97 should likely be able to keep some Scania’s even when it recieves Streetdecks from the 262/473 as the rest of the allocated vehicles won’t be sent over until the 58 gets electrics. As a side note before the 262/473 receive their electrics they’re supposed to have 11 reg Gemini 2’s from the 157 in place.

Interestingly thought you would have preferred 262 over 473 as the 262 takes the same route as the 473 between Stratford-Newham but avoids the North Woolwich ferry which had a lot of traffic. Also TfL at one point tried to cut the 262 (as well as the 101) back to Beckton bus station but numerous residents in the area were complaining saying that the 366 would not be able to cope on its own on the Beckton-Gallions Reach corridor. The 101 was withdrawn from Gallions Reach but the 262 was only cut back from East Beckton Sainsburys to Gallions Reach rather than all the way to Beckton Bus Station.
The Streetdecks probably have more power than RM's E400's as they are on their last legs and honestly a downgrade from the Scania's we had before on the 252/365
2 things I want to mention about your North Woolwich terminus: 1. The ferry is not normally open on a Sunday. However the Blackwall Tunnel was shut so many users of the Blackwall Tunnel went to the Woolwich ferry. 2. I wonder how the 473 will stand on the North Woolwich terminus when the SL2 is introduced from March 2nd.
@@RennoHundred now that the SL2 has been introduced, I’ve seen that some go on the 473 stand, while others park near the 473 bus stop. On March 2nd when the route was introduced there were crowds of bus enthusiasts at North Woolwich for the route.

Pretty much all the routes run till early morning and no one likes doing lates so if you request it you will defo get on the late rota
