You had me going for a minute there. Guys like you and Tony are the guys who are saving hot rodding. Most of us aren't checkbook builders. Plus making junk run fast is more fun and satisfying than just spending money and following trends.

I love the Nomad! I saw what you started with and most of the haters bitching about your car would have sent the car to the crusher rather than do what you have done. You're an inspiration to those of us building cars from beaters - not to mention you provide comedy relief for those of us that get (and have) your sense of humor. Dan for Pt of Canada!! LOL 😀😀
You're one of my favorite channels. I'm not really even into Tri-Fives, but your style and the way you drag them out of the junkyard or back 40 and get them driving? Amazing to me. I hope you can make it HUGE in UA-cam land, and be able to keep making great videos for all of us for years to come. No matter what, I hope you keep having fun and building drivers from old piles of junk. Anyone who thinks they can do it better is welcome to go ahead and do it. At the end of the day, you're doing what YOU want to do, with cars that YOU buy. Some people think they know how everything should be, and how it should be done. I'm enjoy watching you do what you do, even if it's not my style exactly. All the best to you and Dani. And thanks for another video full of smiles and a few outright laughs.
Your words are so true. I bought a 57 nomad. So happy I did. Mine was better but still so much work and money. I was lucky, before I invested all that you put out in money and time someone with the same feeling of I got to have that came along. I turned a 15,000 profit. He has 65,000 in it now and on his way to 80,000. That is not a great show car, but a great driver. It is because of the words Nomad. I love what you do and enjoy watching. What you do reminds me of working on our cars in the 60s and 70s. Thanks!
Agreed, the words that instantly kill any project - "No, No...I want this one done right" or "I don't want to drive it until...". Just get it driving and on the road, you can always pick away and clean it up as you ENJOY it!
Dan do it the way you want to,don't pay attention to what other say,do what makes you happy. Thanks for all you videos. Joel from Nabb In. Home of the Nabb National's street races.
I ran into this with a bike I bought several years ago. 1977 Yamaha XS650. I bought it intending to make it a bobber style Triumph clone. Instead of making it rideable and enjoying it for what it is/was. I got it running and instantly tore it down, hacked it and over the years I've had only a few chances to get out and mess with it. I have it back to a roller, tore the engine apart down to the crank and checked/cleaned everything. (It still has the original cross hatch in the cylinders) painted the engine and re assembled it. And haven't touched it again in over a year. All the while, I could have been enjoying it for what it is this entire time.
Hi Dan , I'm from upstate NY, and thank you for all videos you make, I always watch most of your videos, and been watching for a couple years. It's great to see the average guy work in his garage, with a regular daytime job, I'm with ya bud, working in a cluttered garage, and not trying to build show cars, Just trying get the car the way we like it, without spending years on it. Thanks for sharing some of your knowledge, and by the way it's hard to get work done in the garage watching all your videos, lol.
I've never fully restored a car, but heard this advice: Before you get started, take a $100 bill, place it on the shop floor, and light it on fire. Do it again, then again, until you become numb to it. At that point you are ready to start the restoration process
@DD Speed Shop I personally love the 55 Nomad. It was a complete rust bucket, and nearly everyone that saw it as you got it would agree that it was just far too rotted away to even consider trying to get it back on the road. I'm a 55 year old Gulf War Veteran from the US, I'm also a Chevy guy. I myself would've bought it for the trim etc.... and scrapped what was left. I'm happy that you proved me wrong. I'm glad that you put that old girl back together and saved it from the crusher. You've done an awesome job on the car, and I'm glad that you took the time to save it. Great job Dan.😊👍🏼 GBY and your family. 🙏🏻🕊🙏🏻
Awesome job man. Keep up the real hot rod builds. As my dad used to say “use what you have” and “make it work”. Another one I like is built, not bought. Love watching your tube👍
My You Tube playlist.....Uncle Tony, Vice Grip Garage, Puddin's Fab Shop, Mortske's, DD Speed Shop, Casey's Customs, Make It Kustom, Fitzee's Fabrications, Sprayway Customs, Clunkers and Classics, Junkyard Digs, Junkyard Mook, Rat Rods Of Africa, Trev's Blog, Weird Beard, and Dylan McCool are all constantly in my rotation!! All you folks are great to watch, and I love you all as if I know any one of you!! I lost me license due to child support in 2002, only to have a stroke in 2012 and a heart attack in 2013, so I can never drive again legally!! And I miss my love of cars and had my dreams of owning old cars taken from my by two soul-less wives who are now ex wives, and a system that does men wrong constantly!! These days I am 58 and YOU ALL are my heroes and I only wish I could own something "cool" and "nice"!! But at the same time, I just wish my life was over...because it kills me I can't own, love or legally drive anything ever again!! And ALL i have ever wanted was to own a garage and wrench on old cars!! But that has never happened for me either!! These days I just do a lot of wood working projects, wrench on cars people bring me that I hate (the cars not the people), and nobody has the same "taste" in vehicles I do!!
@George Most of them haven't left the house in 40 yrs. Not kiddin either. All medicated and turned into recluses with the only link to the outside world being UA-cam.
I'm with you and UTG I'm just a poor working class guy who has a 68 Plymouth Satellite 383 and it's no show car but i keep it running the old school way and have fun with it .
Hey Dan, watch you all the time. You keep me going on my projects and I have learned from you. Keep doing what you love and remember, UTG can’t be too smart, (he only works on mopars) and he still smokes!
Man,you saved something a shop would not accept as a project. I love the 55 Nomad, favorite tri five I feel like you did all the important things totally correct. Metal, suspension and drivetrain. All the paint and patina.are temporary. ( I hate patina myself) But your having fun with it at this point and you got it back in from the drive way.. is a win. Someday when the time is right you can take it to another level with "good" paint. Rock on D&D you guys entertain and teach at the same time
I dig the way your putting it together and intend to actually drive it! Love the car and hope you put a million miles on it. Keep building them your way and have fun with them. Have you considered building an old truck? A 55 chevy truck would fit your stable of tri fives perfectly.
Dan, 2 things.... First, If you can't beat them join them! Dump all of the cold, Canadian real estate and buy a large piece of property in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Maybe your new neighbor can share some of those cheap used parts with you and here's the key..."Duty Free!" Here is some other inside info on that new potential neighbor (and keep this one under your beanie from those fanatical Mopar guys), he's on record stating that he likes Tri-Five Chevy's and specifically mentions the '55! Shoot, he may even start riding your coat tails! The town even has Mur's name in it if that not a sign from God Himself! Second, You need to go to the Columbus, Ohio area and look up a Nomad Whisperer by the name of Big Don at Don's Hot Rod Garage! Go have a beer with that guy and I think you will need about a week of counseling with that guy! He can help you with your frazzled hatred of Nomads and help talk you off the ledge! Kidding aside Dan, the Nomad is already a major huge victory. If anyone doesn't believe that, go back to the video when Josh dropped it off the trailer in the DD storage field. The fact that you are now making the car more realistic and drivable instead of the insanity of a concourse restoration that bankrupts you morally and physically is another major victory! You're doing a great job and hang what the haters say....rock on!
I would absolutely try building a Nomad even if it was that far gone. My 71 Cuda was in about the same condition. I'm still not finished because of all the interruptions I've had. But, I'm not giving up. I have around 10k in the Hemi so far. At least 8k in new sheet metal. Everything Mopar is insanely expensive. Never give up your dreams. Build the Nomad and forget the clowns 🤡 who gripe about what you're doing. Go Dan, Go!
Tony needs to get with the program, and do like Counts Kustoms does...lowered, LS 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 resto mod engine, 100 speed overdrive trans, 36" rims, on rubber band sidewall tires.
Though it was pretty funny when you stole Uncle Tony's watch ,!! The most ingenious part was you convinced him that he never wore one.!! THAT ,took some planning
True fans are only along for the ride and don't really care what you do to "your" cars. I like how you just slap stuff together (fabricate) and make it work. You are like the Dr. Frankenstein of cars.
@@DDSpeedShop I've been along for the ride since you were building Dani's 57 BelAir; your are a master tin bender and fantastic welder. You seem to put these cars together quicker than anyone else on UA-cam. I look forward to every one of your videos. The Nomad wasn't a success when they first came out, they leaked around the tailgate window because of the severe slope and buyers resisted buying because of the higher price. In 1958 they built the Nomad as a four door station wagon. The Tri-5 Nomads were a hard sell as a used car because guys wanted either a 2 door sedan, 2 door hardtop,or a convertible. Just keep going in your own direction it's all good. Good luck on this build we're looking forward to your driving the Power tour this year.
Nomad is looking awesome. If trolls don't like it, they can always build their own nomad. I can relate to your parts struggle. I don't have a "rare" car just an unpopular one. My '68 AMC Rambler American has been sitting for a few neglected years. You and UTG have encouraged me to bring her home from storage and get going on it. I'm going with "the heck with perfect, just get it running and driving" philosophy.
That Damn Uncle Tony I bet you bottom dollar he loves the bacon and maple syrup just like us good ol’ Canadians . I could never quit UTG his channel is the best 🇨🇦
Hey Dan you're nomad has come a long ways and has some very substantial value, I'm sure it would be a lot better if you could lower the seat to give you more headroom if that were possible and make the car fit you better, I think the nomad was designed as a grocery getter for women who set a lot shorter in the seat.
The only thing you should hate is listening to the internet ! It’s your car , I don’t care if it’s a pristine survivor or a basket case , do what you want with it ❗️🇺🇸
Dan, love the way your going with this build now. I was really hoping you would change direction and get back to this. Thanks. Been following Tony for a bit too. You guys are a crap load of fun to watch. And it doesn't cost a Dodge to watch. LOL
You are right about people with new parts. I have seen people buy a crate LS motor and by the time the engine is in with wire harness, mounts, radiator, serpentine belts, and transmission they have $10,000 in the drive train alone.
A couple things: The nomad needs a mailbox hood scoop, luggage rack, and a snow plow And most importantly: A dash sticker saying "no air bags we die like real men, a plastic Jesus on the dash, and a baby on board triangle in the back window. You're welcome
People are far more inclined to complain than praise anything these days. The 55 Nomad is one of my all time favorites cars . I've always wanted one. I think your doing great living on your own terms . Kudos to your gal for being such a supportive element in your life.
Just found this site and subscribed. You, UTG, Cold War Motors, Thunderhead 289, and Junkyard Digs (Iowa boys, hell yeah!) doing it right, having fun and learning and teaching at the same time. Giving me the itch to get my highschool pickup back on the road after almost 30 years.
I absofreakinlutely love what you are doing with the Nomad. Definition : A nomad is a member of a community without fixed habitation who regularly moves to and from the same areas. Such groups include hunter-gatherers, pastoral nomads, tinkers and trader nomads. In my opinion you are building a perfect "Nomad".
Unfortunately you'll never get what you put into the car you may consider selling it and take the loss you don't have to proof anything too any one but your self I own a 56Nomad stay positive good luck on your venture
I'm glad I watched the video all the way to the end , and explained that you were only joking . I was just about to send Uncle Tony a severe repremand about bad mouthing you . I think your car looks splendid .
I remember when you picked up that car and I said to myself is he nuts, but you did an incredible job. The haters are about as useful as a hemorrhoid. I’ve been watching you for awhile now and you’re doing a great job. Thank You 🙏 for bringing us on your journey.
The Nomad is looking great! Love your attitude about just making it a driver. Most of us just don't have the funds for a total restoration! You might want to try some bucket seats that are lower to the floor so you don't bump your head!
You and Tony making "diss tracks" is hilarious! Both of you guys give us poor folk something achievable to strive for. I can't imagine owning a Nomad just because of the nickel and dime stuff.....Eff that! Cool car though.
Dan, don't let people tick you off. make the Nomad what you want, It is yours. It is a cool car, and as a daily driver that would be awesome. Just keep doing what your doing. God Blass you!
I loved what UT wrote in Cars Illustrated back in my youth. His articles grabbed my attention and made me feel a part of the NYC / Philly street race scene, even though I live in the midwest. His writing gravitated me to the "sleeper" type of hot rod. But then Lunar and Mopar Al happened and the way I feel about UT changed a little.
One of the oldest mistakes in the car community is building your ride for the approval of others. Forget everyone else's opinion. Build your ride for you. If others appreciate what you create then great. If not they can't they can move on. I drive a 4 door sleeper so I know what I'm talking about. Keep up the great work.

I have never trusted Canada: just lurking above the US. Dan, I admire how you are able to do so much - saving these cars from the crusher - with the limited resources you have. Ignore the haters and keep on keeping on.
I feel your pain exactly. 1965 Cutlass convertible. One year car, no aftermarket support, no repops, ended up with sbc, 700r4, Ford 9", I never open the hood at car shows. The snobberazzi when they see the sbc. I pulled this car out of the woods and spent 18 years and way too much money. For me it was like saving a stray dog from the kill room. Wishing I had left my a beater!
I would love to have a driver Nomad! They're not made to be trailered, just driven! That's what a hot rod is for! When the haters spend there own money, they'll have different comments! Keep doing what you're doing Dan! Old timers like me do understand! I'm a 65 year old kid with long hair! Yes I still have mine lol! My girlfriend and I watch you because you're real and not a millionaire! Millennials think money grows on trees and someone else should do the work! Love what you do! From a S.E. Kentucky hillbilly to a Canadian hill billy keep it up man you're doing great!
You're good. I know what you mean. I'm doing a 57 handyman same thing. Two dr wagon. Tree fell on it.floor rusted gone. It was stripped. Parts for a handyman not reproduce. You do it for you. We love it.
You are doing a great job to save that basket case of a Nomad! You are doing it they way you want to, and you have the right. It's you car! Tell everybody to take a hike!
Dan don't let the internet eat you up I say drive the hell out of it I love the car I love what you've done to it cuz you know what it's yours you can do what you want with it so the hell with what everybody else says
LOL, I enjoy the "banter" between you and UTG. It's all in fun. I'm not a hotrod builder, I'm just an average guy doing the best I can to keep all my vehicles running, my 31 year old truck, the wifes 24 year old jeep, (both daily drivers) my 22 year old bike, the wifes 16 year old bike. And the home-made camper for the truck. Between the vehicles mentioned and upkeep on the house, there is not much in the budget to throw money at someone and say this is what I want, go ahead and do it! I do enjoy the big channels with a nasa "white room" type build area, millions of dollars worth of tools and various equipment, and a seemingly unlimited budget to buy all the fancy new parts and just bolt them together. I consider those channels as a "fantasy, escape" You, UTG, Slantfish65sd, barerosegarage, and many other small channels are more indicative to real world experiences. Thank you for sharing what you know as well as what you are learning! 😁👍
I'm a Mopar restorer. We do everything from touch ups to ground ups. I can guarantee you that the people making the comments telling you what to do with that car have NEVER done a restoration or a modification to any car. They're all armchair hot rodders that don't know the cost. I think it's awesome what you're doing.
Not driving your nice car is like not boning your girlfriend to keep it tight. Enjoy YOUR CAR the way YOU WANT! People will watch, or they won't. But you do this because you love it, and you do great work. Keep it up!
Screw the haters I don't see them making any efforts to do anything love what you do and my state of South Carolina especially the upstate SC area love Canadians like there American family!!💗😎👍 keep up the great work
Uncle F'ing Tony! He's the man; I love that he (and you) are showing people that you don't have to build a 6 figure car to have fun hot rodding. Most people B!tch Moan and Whine about how expensive this hobby is, the tools needed etc. and UTG & DD Speedshop just throw it right back in their face and build cars for next to nothing.
Yup. Sounds about right. '38 Oldsmobile. Impossible to find all the necessary parts. I'm still collecting stuff. Interior, exterior, under the hood. Had this car for 12 years now and I'm finding it'll be simpler and cheaper for me to make a '50's period correct old school custom cruiser out of this car. Keep up the great work and don't let the old man get to you.
Spot on video. At 60 years old now I’ve been a junkyard dog my whole life. In 1985 I bought a 54 Corvette basically in the same condition as your nomad. And it was basically a rat rod for the 27 years that I drove it. I heard all the same crap. Well, like you say your nomad will be a major win. My 54 toilet was! Smitty in Vegas

Don’t pay attention to the haters. They don’t understand that you saved a car from being scrapped, I think you did a fantastic job on it. I sent you a picture on your e-mail of my gasser 57 Nomad and it’s ratty, and the Tri- Five people in Bowling Green put me in the Special Car Coral . I will be taking it again this year and I hope you bring you 55 Nomad and we can park beside each other this year. Just don’t let the people bring you down, just remember it’s your car, as long as you Love it, it doesn’t matter what other people think, you did it your way and I did it my way. You will be surprised if you bring it to Bowling Green how many people will come over and look at it. I had crowds around mine, checking it!
Any person that comments negatively about what you do, has never even tried to 1/10th of what you have done, the nomad is exactly the way you want it to be, you said it yourself it would have taken a tremendous amount of money and man hours, plus you would never would want to drive it because of keeping it nice, I think the nomad is perfect the way it is it fits the DDs Speed shop builds it’s perfect for power tour and it’s a amazing car Anyone who saw it in the beginning and the amount of blood sweat and tears that went into it to make it straight and road worthy should be amazed by your ability to craft metal and time just to get it rolling Fantastic job Dan🎉again piss off the hater’s with a wild side graphic 🎉

Hang in there, brother. You're on the home stretch. I bought. 56 nomad in April that sat for 30 years. I thought I'd have it on the road by June. Finally drove it in September. I feel your pain! As long as I own it, It will always be a daily driver. You are right on about the crazy parts prices. Fortunately mine was mostly complete. BTW you will get used to ducking you head. Only took me 3 months to figure that one out. By then the lumps had went down. Old school rules!
Im lucky I have a stable of classics none of them restored and I always felt a bit embarrassed about not having the means...thanks for making me feel less lame.. I love all them just the same and you guys are awesome...cheers
I’ve got an 86 Pontiac 2+2 areocoupe. It’s really rare, and I’ve seen them and their parts going for crazy prices. I’m so glad that I got mine, in rough shape, but solid. I decided a long time ago to make it into what I wanted it to be, than try to restore it. I don’t regret my decision at all.
Don't let the haters ruin your day bc at the end of the day you have way more people rooting for you than condemning you! Those people who throw out the bad comments know that they could never do what you did to this Nomad to get it to where it is now from the despair you found it in. Keep doing what you want to do bc it's your car and your happiness, don't let anyone own it! Thanks for sharing! ✌😁 P.S. Give Uncle Tony his watch back! 🤣
Its coming along nice! Only you can determine whether its worth fixing and how youll enjoy it. I love beaters! You can always restore..but once its restored you wont sleep well thinking about the dust settling on it in the garage!
I feel your pain bro. I have been a mechanic for about 30 years restored or hotrodded about 75 cars myself. I quit after my 86 regal grand national is done or done enough. there are none of these cars ether.. when I started in 1974 I bought my first 55 chevy 2 door post for 75 bucks. Didnt run, but used parts were every where . Fast foward today the old cars in fields are rusty junk. Too many Im gonna fix er up someday and they died and the family junked it. As for your nomad I would have made a street gasser out of it. As for uncle T the man is brilliant . Keeping hotrodding alive . I live on a govt check I cant afford all shiney new stuff. Ebay junk keeps me going.

Thanks!
We watch because we like what you've done, take a break from this one, again and let the opel really stress ya out..good luck!
Between you and UTG It was something to watch while I had covid. Nice watch!

Poor Dan your not a punching bag
Stop getting beat
It’s a waiting game
But the trolls need content every 20 minutes
Love all the hard work
Hi Dan , I'm from upstate NY, and thank you for all videos you make, I always watch most of your videos, and been watching for a couple years.
Most people would have never begun this project. I think you are amazing...mechanic, sense of humor ect. KEEP BEING YOU!!
@DD Speed Shop
I personally love the 55 Nomad.
Great job Dan.😊👍🏼
GBY and your family.
I wonder how many guys will catch the Canadian sarcasm? You're killing it Dan.
Jump the Nomad!!
Hopefully people pick up on it haha
@George Most of them haven't left the house in 40 yrs. Not kiddin either. All medicated and turned into recluses with the only link to the outside world being UA-cam.
@@yamaha226 i dont know about the house....but why leave the garage if you can get beer, pizza, and car parts delivered?
Guaranteed 70% failure rate, that’s what happens when you ban books, people get even dumber.
You do what you gotta do. You own it and can do anything you want with it.
I think the car has come a long way you have done a amazing job so far the car really truly looks beautiful you are doing great.
Shuuusssshh hope the Mopar people don't read what ya said.....lol
utg is a user be careful
Man,you saved something a shop would not accept as a project.
I love the 55 Nomad, favorite tri five
I feel like you did all the important things totally correct. Metal, suspension and drivetrain. All the paint and patina.are temporary.
( I hate patina myself)
But your having fun with it at this point and you got it back in from the drive way..
Go Dan, Go!
Dude, be careful your wife doesn't see these numbers! ;-)
Tony needs to get with the program, and do like Counts Kustoms does...lowered, LS 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 resto mod engine, 100 speed overdrive trans, 36" rims, on rubber band sidewall tires.
I enjoy watching what you do. Keep up the great work !!!
Though it was pretty funny when you stole Uncle Tony's watch ,!! The most ingenious part was you convinced him that he never wore one.!! THAT ,took some planning
Put your plow on the nomad it's got more room to throw sand bags in for traction lol, that will piss some people off
True fans are only along for the ride and don't really care what you do to "your" cars. I like how you just slap stuff together (fabricate) and make it work. You are like the Dr. Frankenstein of cars.
Not gunna lie, I'm just along for the ride too... haha
LOL
I love Canadian people! Our northern brothers!!!
Keep on keeping’ on Dan.
You and VGG and Puddin are my favourites and now I have to check out this Canadian hater Uncle Tony dude!!😂
You are right about people with new parts. I have seen people buy a crate LS motor and by the time the engine is in with wire harness, mounts, radiator, serpentine belts, and transmission they have $10,000 in the drive train alone.
A couple things:
The nomad needs a mailbox hood scoop, luggage rack, and a snow plow
And most importantly:
A dash sticker saying "no air bags we die like real men, a plastic Jesus on the dash, and a baby on board triangle in the back window.
You're welcome
Oh its coming....
@@DDSpeedShop we love y'all. Keep doing your thing
People are far more inclined to complain than praise anything these days. The 55 Nomad is one of my all time favorites cars . I've always wanted one. I think your doing great living on your own terms . Kudos to your gal for being such a supportive element in your life.
Needs redline tires
When your right your right
Just found this site and subscribed. You, UTG, Cold War Motors, Thunderhead 289, and Junkyard Digs (Iowa boys, hell yeah!) doing it right, having fun and learning and teaching at the same time. Giving me the itch to get my highschool pickup back on the road after almost 30 years.
The most important thing in this world is your own happiness, do what makes YOU happy!
IT’S YOUR “NOMAD”NOT ANYBODY ELSE’S …..your not feeding or fu**ing any of these internet haters
DO IT YOUR WAY 👍👍
I'm glad I watched the video all the way to the end , and explained that you were only joking . I was just about to send Uncle Tony a severe repremand about bad mouthing you . I think your car looks splendid .
Haha tha ks for the support man!
Dan, I love the Nomad, do your thing! I enjoy watching no matter what you do. It's your channel, cars, time and money, and I'm along for the ride!
I remember when you picked up that car and I said to myself is he nuts, but you did an incredible job. The haters are about as useful as a hemorrhoid.
I’ve been watching you for awhile now and you’re doing a great job. Thank You 🙏 for bringing us on your journey.
Uncle Tony sent me. You guys are the bomb. I've been following Uncle Tony for years. Nice to see another junkyard dog. Subscribed.
The Nomad is looking great! Love your attitude about just making it a driver. Most of us just don't have the funds for a total restoration!
You might want to try some bucket seats that are lower to the floor so you don't bump your head!
Seen "restomods" with spray foam insulation in rust holes, covered with filler.
You and Tony making "diss tracks" is hilarious! Both of you guys give us poor folk something achievable to strive for. I can't imagine owning a Nomad just because of the nickel and dime stuff.....Eff that! Cool car though.
Both of y’all are entertaining to watch, it’s cool to watch two friends take jabs at each other.
For someone like UT, there's always a new Lunar and Al waiting around the corner.
Dan is going to learn some lessons, I'm afraid.
Writin stories and fixin cars are two different things
One of the oldest mistakes in the car community is building your ride for the approval of others. Forget everyone else's opinion. Build your ride for you. If others appreciate what you create then great. If not they can't they can move on. I drive a 4 door sleeper so I know what I'm talking about. Keep up the great work.
Dan,
Your garage, your tools, your car, your rules.
That is all.
Whatever you do with the 55 Nomad is a win! Do what makes you happy!
Please !!!! return uncle Tony' watch !!! Our CANADIAN reputation depends on it !!!
Buy every 55 56 57 Nomad you find! Uncle Tony is the best. I just mailed out a box of Nomad parts today heading to Manitoba!! Not sure how long the mail will take to get there. Have a good one Buddy 👍

1. Rush
2. Trailer park boys
3. Red green
4. DD speed shop
Old School is the way to go Uncle Tony. Checkbook Hot Rodders are few and far between. What is the fun in just writing the checks?
I consider those channels as a "fantasy, escape"
You, UTG, Slantfish65sd, barerosegarage, and many other small channels are more indicative to real world experiences.
Thank you for saving that old girl! Happy New Year!
Not driving your nice car is like not boning your girlfriend to keep it tight. Enjoy YOUR CAR the way YOU WANT! People will watch, or they won't. But you do this because you love it, and you do great work. Keep it up!
I should have never watched this video…but I’m glad I did….you made it work, just like UTG! Well done!
Dan, you are not stupid, or idiot, or dummy. You do what you like and never pay attention to negative comments
Thanks for your honesty and cost revel I'm on your side.
I'm not even into cars really but i stuck around with UTG, what an inspiration.
Your doing a GREAT job making it with what you had and are bring it back to a driver!! And were did these E- Bay nomad part seller Get nomad parts to sell ??They took what they had got some were like you and then though I will part it out as I can't fix it ,and make money off someone that want to have one of the 8530 that were produced !!! Gentle, Gentle Dan and continue to do what make you smile !!! Love what you are doing !!!
Any person that comments negatively about what you do, has never even tried to 1/10th of what you have done, the nomad is exactly the way you want it to be, you said it yourself it would have taken a tremendous amount of money and man hours, plus you would never would want to drive it because of keeping it nice, I think the nomad is perfect the way it is it fits the DDs Speed shop builds it’s perfect for power tour and it’s a amazing car
Anyone who saw it in the beginning and the amount of blood sweat and tears that went into it to make it straight and road worthy should be amazed by your ability to craft metal and time just to get it rolling
Fantastic job Dan🎉again piss off the hater’s with a wild side graphic 🎉
That's my gift. I let that negativity roll off me like water off a duck's back. If it's not positive, I didn't hear it. If you can overcome that, fights are easy. -George Foreman
You are a winner! 1955 Nomad is a dream car! Do more collabs with UTG! Keep winning!
